Masterboard Monday

A big welcome to all my new followers, hope you enjoy the journey.

Hi Blog followers, I have just completed another Masterboard for our swap and last month's has just arrived back to me.
Do you remember this masterboard that I made last month...

well this is what Gloria made with it.

I am sure you can imagine my excitement when I opened it!!!
Lovely or what?

This month there have been lots more insects about and this month's Masterboard is no exception.
I used a Clarity stencil for the background and applied Big and Juicy ink with a duster brush.
I like to use a blending mat when doing this so that you can brush off some of the ink before adding it to the card or paper, it goes on and blends much better.
Then I used a Hampton Art stamp set for the detail as seen below.
The moths are particularly nice images.

I very much look forward to seeing what Gloria makes with this one.
And here it is.

I have to be honest, I have had these stamps for ages and not got round to using them which is a shame because they are lovely stamps.

And yes, I know, you've seen this before Lol! but I like this technique. Promise to move on soon.

 Nice effect though?

Then stamp the images.
I used a piece of scrap paper as I wanted to get more images using the second stamp application so stamped on the scrap paper first.

Hope you like it and hope she does too.

Back soon,

Angela x

I didn't get to your WOYWW post until Thursday and the bird post was where I commented..however...I was on ipad and I wonder if I clicked away too soon! I certainly didn't mean to miss you out! Here I am on the PC - safer!! Love the steampunk bird, almost as much as the zen houses and the silks...my word you are prolific gal...I'm pretty much still just sitting around!
