WOYWW 278 # What's On Your Workdesk Wednesday.

A big welcome to all my new followers, hope you enjoy the journey.

Hi Workdesk friends.
It's come around again, Wednesday I mean.

Angela here to show you:
"What's on my workdesk this Wednesday".

If you don't know what this is all about then please visit the

Stamping Ground and our dear host Julia will explain and all will be revealed.

Anyway back to my desk Lol!

I could say...........

What a mess!
However I have been busy so I'm excused Lol!
As you can see, Masterboards, ready to be made into Christmas cards, samples of which are to be seen below in Monday's posting.
Apart from that it's the usual collection of Stuff!
drawers full of goodies, lots of lovely dies, stamps of course, tins of felt tip pens, sticky tape of various types, stickles glue, blending tool, inks, it's all there.

You may have noticed at the back left corner there is a bottle with a red top.
I have had this for some time and not really used it until now. It is called Spray M Boss and is by a company called Once Upon a Stamp.
When used on thick card which may be difficult to emboss or cut, it softens it slightly and makes the embossing much deeper and the cutting easier.
I believe it can be used for other things too but need to look into
 this further.

And that's it for today, couldn't be quicker.

If there is anything you need to know, please ask.
Hope you will pop over to my fellow deskers to see what they have been up to.

Happy crafting,
Angela x

Humm to the Spray EMboss. I had read that simply lightly misting the card with water did the same, so will look forward to your further experimentation :)

Happy WOYWW!

I love your master boards - those colours are so rich and gorgeous. The Spray M Boss sounds very interesting and I shall look into that as I am planning on cutting some thicker card using the Tim Holtz luminary die - it could be really useful for that. Thanks so much for sharing, hope you have a great week,

I use water with a teeny bit of fabric conditioner in to soften my card. Quite cheap really and works.
I still have to do a Masterboard, keep thinking of it but never getting around to it.
I guess my utility room table needs things putting away from last weekend. I then need to pack for this coming one. Such is life - busy at times, quiet the next.
Phew!

Love the non festive colours of those ornaments on the master boards! In fact, I just love purple, full stop! That spray stuff sounds useful, it does tickle me that you chanced upon it though. I do that all the time with things I buy!

What a lovely busy, productive and colourful desk, Angela. Your Christmas masterboards are so beautiful, and it's nice to see a non-traditional seasonal colour being used, too! The spray looks interesting, and I wonder if the active ingredient is glycerine? Having done Sheena Douglass' faux leather technique where you spray card with a glycerine and water mix, I know how this softens the fibres. I hadn't thought of trying it with embossing. Some of the Tim Holtz embossing folders, in particular, are rather deep-cut and can cut right through the card if one isn't careful.

Thank you again for introducing me to wonderful masterboards! You've really started something. I think it is the most totally brilliant idea ever. Thank you for your lovely comment! So encouraging. I can't believe how often you can transfer the clear heat embossing from one piece of paper to another - getting ever more interesting results! I've just got some more archival ink pads and am keen to try them on my new masterboards. Oooooh this is soooo creative and fun!!!

Happy belated WOYWW,

Hi Angela, love the colours of your Christmas master boards and the gorgeous cards you made with them. Could you tell me what type and weight of paper/card you use to make your masterboards? I have heard of Spray M Boss sounds like it could be useful and am intrigued to see what other uses you find that it could be used for. Thank you for paying me a visit and your comment. Hugs Lottie x

That Christmas stuff looks really nice. I love the colour. It's not your usual Christmassy colour.
No I hadn't heard of that product. Does it work?
Thank you for letting me look over your shoulder.
