Restauration de Notre Dame de la Vie

Welcome to all my new followers, hope you enjoy the journey.

Sorry no Masterboard today but hope you enjoy this instead.

Some of you who viewed my Ski pics were interested in the Churches.
This is the one closest to the resort where we stay.

I would like to thank Jackie as she asked for photographs of the inside but we only really pass it when arriving or leaving the mountain so I thought it would be nice to see if I could find some on-line.
I have uploaded some photographs and a link to the website which shows the recent renovation of the building both inside and out.

So first a few photographs of the inside.

 And the Renovation.

This is complete now and here are a few photographs showing a better view of the outside.

Hope you enjoyed looking, have a great week.

Who would have thought that such a plain (but beautiful) exterior would house such a glorious interior - and what a beautiful setting. The photos are brilliant, especially the night shot with the moon, it is stunning! Thanks so much for sharing these Angela! Hugs, Anne xx

More gorgeous photos, Angela! Thanks so much for sharing them. They remind me of the ones I took in Romania - when we were there, there was a real building boom, and it was fascinating seeing the new churches being built, and seeing the construction before they put the wall paintings in. It's all fascinating, isn't it!

I am going to try and do a WOYWW post tomorrow just to keep everybody up to date, but I'm going into hospital first thing on Fri. and Thurs. will be taken up with masses of stuff, and preparing, so I may not be able to moderate, let alone reply to, any comments until I am well enough in hospital for my hubby to bring in my laptop. I think most people on WOYWW know when I'm going in, so I hope everybody will understand my silence for a while!!

Amazing photos, Angela! And you certainly saved the best for last! Wow! That is a masterpiece! I can imagine it being a reference to a mixed media project!
