Masterboard Monday.

Welcome to all my new followers, hope you enjoy the journey.

Here today to show you the new Masterboard that Gloria sent me and the cards I made with it.

The Holly leaves are pieces of a paper napkin which has had the layers separated and then glued down onto the paper and the background is stamped.

I have cut up sections of the Masterboard to create the following cards.
So here they are:

I was aiming with these to make them fairly flat for posting.
It's difficult to see but I have highlighted the roofs with 3D glaze and glitter to give some dimension to the design.
The stamp I used for this was one of the Urban Stamps by Michael Powell for Docrafts Papermania.

The Holly on the front of this card was made with a Tim Holtz die and then I added crackle glaze and rubbed over this with distress inks when dry. I finished the berries off with glaze and glitter and a few gems on the inner section of the card.

This is probably the most simple card to make but with the gorgeous Masterboard it really doesn't need much more so I mat and layered sections of the Masterboard, adding the ribbon before mounting the sections together.
Then finished it with 3D glaze on the berries and stamped the basic card with a text stamp and holly then highlighted the berries with mica paint.

So that's the Masterboard for this Monday.

Hope you enjoyed looking.
Happy crafting,

Angela x

Gloria certainly did a beautiful masterboard with the napkins, the design is wonderful. Your cards are beautiful, you can never go wrong with that Michael Powell stamp (I loved the whole set). If I had to choose a favourite it would be number 3, I think the red ribbon and backing brings out the red in the berries wonderfully well. Anne xx
