Friday Fun Day with smiles.

Welcome to all my new followers, hope you enjoy the journey.
Angela here again to show you what's been happening this week.

We've been back in the park again and the Weir is really coming together now.

This is an absolute work of art!
It has been brilliant watching this come together, a true craftsman at work.

I'm waiting to see what he is up to at the far left as the pillar seems to be set off centre but I'm sure he will have a plan for this.

I so love these little arched openings and can't wait to see what he intends to use them for.

Just a view of the surrounding area.
As you can see the leaves have been dropping this week.

The park is looking lovely in the autumn sunshine, think we need to make the most of it as it's getting colder now.

This is the building work around where the old house and stables used to be.

We went to Macclesfield again last weekend and how different the weather was as you can see here.

Famous Cat and Fiddle.

Sorry the photographs aren't brilliant but I couldn't resist showing you this one! Brrrrr!

We also went through Chesterfield which is famous for it's church with the crooked spire.

Hope you have a great weekend everyone and
thanks for stopping by, I'm off now to see what everyone else has been up to.

And if you would like some more smiles you just need to pop over to see what our other friends have been doing this week at Annie's for
"This Week's Smiles" and you can also share your  smiles too.

Those arched opening/pillars are fascinating and how lovely to see them evolve. I live going up the moors and loved seeing the Cat & Fiddle. It's always early with the snow.
Have you ever been to the Chestnut Centre? http://www.chestnutcentre.co.uk/your-visit/find-us/
I love going there and I think it is in that area.
Thanks so much for popping in on my blog and glad you like my latest makes.
Have a great weekend and stay cosy.

Hello Angela
I see from your live traffic feed that you have visits from Mountain View, California... I to get visits from this blogger, often on a daily basis, but never get a message from them. I'd love to know who it is, any clues?
(no need to publish this) just thought I'd ask you.

Hi Jo, As far as I know the mysterious blog visitor from Mountain View California, is Blogger HQ. Whenever you connect with Blogger, this comes up.

That weir is looking great. I like the recycled brick. With you, I am curious what the niches are for and why the third column stands out. Time will tell.
I'm feeling cold just looking at your Peak District photos. You were lucky to be able to get through the pass. The Cat & Fiddle road is quite often closed because of the snow. I know the area quite well as my sister has lived in the Macclesfield area since 1971. She lives in a small village outside Macc called Prestbury.
Have a great week,
Lisca

Hi Lisca, it's a lovely village know it well. It was one of the few places I knew that didn't have any street lighting but that was a long time ago so maybe it's changed now. We used to go to a nice restaurant in the village.
Happy weekend,
Angela x

Lovely photos again Angela, the little niches look beautiful, I wonder if they might create a shrine, like the one we have near here - probably not but a nice thought! Even though I live near, it never fails to surprise me when we get so much snow on the hills! Hope you have a lovely weekend. Hugs, Anne xx

The park is coming along nicely, and it is not taking too long to do either.
Some of your pictures look very cold. It makes me very happy to be here in Spain. It may be getting chilly at night now, but we won't be seeing any snow. Kate x
