Friday Fun Day.

Welcome to all my new followers, hope you enjoy the journey.
Angela here again to show you what I've been up to this week.

What can I say.... it's been Christmas of course!!!!

Here's Maisie guarding her Christmas Present. Look at that face Lol!

Maisie and Stan decided it was all too much and disappeared to some of their favourite places but Maisie seemed to think that Stan was taking up too much room and pushing too!

Poor Stan nearly ended up falling off the bed!

This photograph shows you just how much bigger Stan is.
However Maisie is still the boss Lol! which is why he is only just on the edge there.

Stan disappeared into the spare room out of the way of those visitors and probably to get more space.

Comfort or what!

Maisie's favourite spot on the stairs.

All that excitement is just too much for a dog Lol!

Christmas cake made by our dear friend Jane.

And I must not forget last Saturday's Park Run when we had Father Christmas and his gang!

Have a great weekend, a very Happy New Year and thanks for stopping by.

And if you would like some more smiles you just need to pop over to see what our other friends have been doing this week at Annie's for
"This Week's Smiles" and you can also share your  smiles too.

WOYWW 447# What's On Your Workdesk Wednesday.

Welcome to all my new Followers. Hope you enjoy the journey.

Hi Workdesk friends.
Here we are for another Wednesday at the Workdesk.
I am here again to show you:

"What's on my Workdesk this Wednesday".

If you don't know what this is all about then please visit the

Stamping Ground, our host Julia will explain.

So here is my desk for today!

It's a dumping ground at the moment but didn't want to miss you all just because it's Christmas so here it is!

  • Starting at the far left is my exploding box.
  • The white box is still there with the fancy gem brads which I meant to open and show you as some of our friends wanted to see what was in there but I got caught up with the festivities so will have to do it next week.
  • Blue boxes on the left full of stamps and dies and a new pack of watercolour pens.
  • Middle towards the back is a new roll of non slip matting and to the right of that are some metal embellishments waiting to be given a new home.
  • Towards the front left some red ribbons that I took off the Christmas Crackers.
  • The yellow book is one of my Pink Pig sketch books.
  • The flat box is a Baby wipes container and the brown boxes, still there from last week holding die cut pieces of card.
  • The stuff you can just see at the centre front is a box full of dies and stamps.
So That's me done for today.

Thanks for stopping by, hope you've all had a nice Christmas.
I'm off now to see what our friends are up to at their desks.

Have a great woyww
and
happy crafting,

Friday Fun Day.

Welcome to all my new followers, hope you enjoy the journey.
Angela here again to show you what I've been up to this week.

But before I do that, Maisie and Stan would like to wish you all a very Merry Christmas.

They were not really very impressed with having to do this, so much so that Maisie decided to go to sleep and Stan has the sort of look that tells you he's quite bored with being made to wear this silly jacket Lol! and if I have to sit here just don't expect me to look happy about it.

I've also been into town and saw these.

And the biggest bauble ever!

How lovely and Christmassy is that.

Last minute shopping and trying to tidy up all the crafting stuff now the cards are finished ready for my visitors to arrive.

Not long now!

I hope you all have a great Christmas too with lots of nice surprises and get to spend time with people you love.

Lots of love to all the doggy, kitty, bunny and other furry or feathered friends out there too. I'm sure they will get a few pressies.

Merry Christmas and a Happy New Blogging Year to all my followers and anyone else who stops by especially if you are kind enough to leave me a comment because I love you the best Lol!.

And if you would like some more smiles you just need to pop over to see what our other friends have been doing this week at Annie's for
"This Week's Smiles" and you can share your  smiles too.

As this is going through the post I've kept it nice and flat and just glazed the front image.

Look forward to seeing you at The Craft Barn.

Happy crafting,

WOYWW 446 # What's On Your Workdesk Wednesday.

Welcome to all my new followers, hope you enjoy the journey.

  • Graphic 45 papers today as I'm busy making a special card.
  • The white box to the left is full of brads with different coloured stones, I should have opened the box really so you could peek in.
  • Under that is a plastic tub which holds some Starlight fabric paints which I've been using for a Craft Barn project but can't show you that yet.
  • The brown boxes to the right are full of bits of left over die cut and fussy cut images which I will get round to using. I keep these little brown boxes which originally held mushrooms from the supermarket and I find them really useful for storing stuff and then stacking them together.
  • Some Tim Holtz dies towards the back next to some Graphic 45 stamps that go with the papers.
  • Oh and there are some little tiny bells just to the right near the glue, so sweet.
  • And the only other thing I can see that is different are the sticky flower embellishments in the exploding box. I have had these for years and intend using them somehow as part of my old stash de-cluttering project, just hope I can keep it up!

I thought I would have a bit of a rest after finishing the Christmas cards but it hasn't happened Lol!

So That's me done for today.

Thanks for stopping by and hope you will pop over and join in the visits around the other desks.

I'm off now to see what everyone else is up to.
Have a great woyww
and a very happy Christmas.

Masrerboard Monday.

Welcome to all my new followers, hope you enjoy the journey.

I am here today to show you a card made with this Masterboard:

I originally made two, one in pink/lilacs and the other in blues/greens
then scanned them and played around with an art program to alter the colours, the two A4 sheets at the front are examples of this but that's for another time.

You may remember seeing something like it before as I made the same card in different colours but liked it so much that I decided to make another.
The other one can be found here.

So here it is and yes it's Zinis!

Hope you enjoyed looking.
Love to hear what you think.

Happy creative week and a Merry Christmas to all my followers and everyone else too.

Friday Fun Day.

Welcome to all my new followers, hope you enjoy the journey.
Angela here again to show you what I've been up to this week.

As mentioned last week, I have found some interesting old photographs relating to our lovely park and here are just a few.

The first group of photographs taken in 1957-1958 and the same two ladies just a bit older in 2013. You can see the house in the background before it was demolished.

A later photograph shows the house has gone but the glasshouse is still there.

And a photograph this year showing how the crazy paving has been replaced.

The house as it would have looked.
Sorry about the quality of the photograph.
I believe this was sometime in the 1800s.

Interesting collection of photographs I'm sure you'll agree and they certainly made me smile.

Our garden looks a bit different this week as we have had snow though not as bad as some counties.

It certainly looked cold out there and much of the pond was covered in snow too.

Pretty though but it's all gone now but who knows it may be back.

If you are like me you are still wrapping your Christmas pressies though I did find time to go out with the girls and had the strangest scone ever.

Fruit scone with melted cheese and onion chutney and strangely it was actually nice!

Have a great weekend everyone and thanks for stopping by.

And if you would like some more smiles you just need to pop over to see what our other friends have been doing this week at Annie's for
"This Week's Smiles" and you can also share your  smiles too.

WOYWW 445 # What's On Your Workdesk Wednesday.

Welcome to all my new followers, hope you enjoy the journey.

I took this on Tuesday when I had a rush of blood!
Decided as I'd finished my Christmas cards I would have a good tidy round hence the mess!

And here it is today, just a bit different.

There are some dies on there  waiting for me to start a new project but otherwise not much going on.
Exploding box, tidy and all the mediums packed away, though not too far away just out of sight Lol!

I'm not used to seeing it so tidy so I think I shall have to mess it up a bit before you come back next week.

However, that's me done for today.

Thanks for stopping by and hope you will pop over and join in the visits around the other desks.

I'm off now to see what everyone else is up to.
Have a great woyww
and

Crafty Cardmakers Challenge - Christmas.

Welcome to all my new followers, hope you enjoy the journey.
Hi! back again to tell you that it's time for another challenge over
at Crafty Cardmakers.

June is hosting today and our challenge is Christmas. As this is the final challenge of the year there will be a Christmas present for the winner!

As usual you can enter anything you fancy, it doesn't have to just be cards, as long as it meets the challenge, and doesn't exceed the 15 total challenges entered rule!

Hope you will join in.
And here is my project for the challenge:

You just have to love these Elena Zinski stamps Set 17, what a cute image they make.
The background is Jofy 06 for Paper Artsy, heat embossed and then Oxide inks added.
Red gems and Stickles glitter glue complete the design.

I hope you will pop over to see what the rest of the DT have been up to and maybe join in the challenge.
I look forward to seeing what you come up with too.
 Happy crafty card making.

Friday Fun Day

Welcome to all my new followers, hope you enjoy the journey.
Angela here again to show you what I've been up to this week.

Saturday smiles in the park but what's going on here?

The people are all here for the skating!

The children and the adults all enjoyed this, a pop up rink for the weekend.

To make it more fun there were market stalls too.

 New café open.

Not very brilliant photographs as the light wasn't too good but this is the view of the cathedral from the park.
Lincoln famous Christmas Market starts Friday.

Just for Lisca, here is a photo of the Gully which surrounds the Weir.

I've found some great old photographs of the park but those are for another time.

Have a great weekend everyone and

WOYWW 444 # What's On Your Workdesk Wednesday.

Welcome to all my new followers, hope you enjoy the journey.

Just had to stop making Christmas cards for a while though there are a few unfinished in the brown tub front/right, as there are more birthdays on the way.
So today there are Kim Dellow stamps on the desk and to the right of those some cards I've started using with these stamps.

I did tidy the exploding box and maybe it's not quite so bad today?????

You can just see my Tim Holtz stamp positioner right at the front in it's case.
The Stickles spinner looks a bit precarious up there for some reason but it might just be the angle of the photograph.

I have plans for the new year to shift the box of mediums at the far left, they may end up on the floor Lol! We shall see.

So that's me done for today.

Thanks for stopping by and hope you will pop over and join in the visits around the other desks.

I'm off now to see what everyone else is up to.
Have a great woyww
and
happy crafting,
