Crafty Cardmakers Challenge 191 # Here Comes Summer.

Welcome to all my new followers, hope you enjoy the journey.
Hi! back again to tell you that it's time for another challenge over
at Crafty Cardmakers.

June is hosting today and our challenge is 'Here Comes Summer'.

As usual you can enter anything you fancy, it doesn't have to just be cards, as long as it meets the challenge, and doesn't exceed the 15 total challenges entered rule!

Hope you will join in.
And here is my project for the challenge:

Hazy Days of Summer.
Though actually it's been a bit hot here recently!

And here's how I made it.

A piece of left-over Oxide card.

One 7x7 white card blank mounted with orange and yellow textured cardstock.

My favourite little text stamp to add some extra detail to the background.

Paper Artsy stamps applied faintly in the background to give depth.

I found this net amongst some other fabrics, completely forgotten I had it...perfect!
I've cut the centre out to ensure everything sticks down well.

Then all is left is to stamp the sentiment and add more flowers for the main focus of foreground.

Completed the design by adding Stickles Glitter glue and 3D glaze to the main flowers.

And here are close-ups of the finished card.

I hope you will pop over to see what the rest of the DT have been up to and maybe join in the challenge.
I look forward to seeing what you come up with too.
 Happy crafty card making.
Angela x

I would like to enter this card in the following challenges:

I think you have been totally inspired by the heat Angela, this looks like a desert scene with the colours you have used. Love the design and fabric layer. Hope you are managing to stay cool xxx

This is beautiful, Angela. I love the colour scheme and how subtle the DO background is, and the addition of the piece of net which really sets it off. I'm ashamed to say my DOs are still in their original packaging and have been sitting unopened on my desk for months! Too much else going on and I've been disciplining myself to finish my Infusions album before playing with them!

Have a great week.

Fabulous card Angela. I love the oxides too, although I need a to get a few more colours as I only have 4. I know we shouldn't moan about the weather, but it is far too hot for me I can't cope.
Hope you are well. hugs Kimx
