Friday Fun Day with Smiles.

Welcome to all my new followers, hope you enjoy the journey.
Angela here again to show you what I've been up to this week.
Quite a lot actually.

Apart from the usual dog walking, voting! and going to the Gym I also went to The Doncaster Dome to the Stamp Magic Craft Show.

Lots of gorgeous samples on the Paper Artsy stand.

Pleased to see how busy it was too.
I think this lot were ready for a sit down after all that shopping they'd been doing!

 More from Paper Artsy.
Some of my favourite stamps.

Leandra doing her thing!

It's worth going just to see the girls doing there demos but obviously their had to be some buying too!

This is the lake which surrounds the Dome.
There are some big carp in there.

If you're wondering what's going on here, these are MGs covered up and waiting for work to be done.

Many of these are complete rebuilds and will probably be here for some time.
Just in case there is anyone out there who spots it, here is one sports car just to the left which is not an MG but everything else is.
It feels quite strange to see so many all in one place but it's good too that there are still garages that work on them and people who want them as most of these are quite old cars.

My own MG is a B series Grand Tourer (MG B GT) built in 1972 so she is quite old as cars go.

This is my girl waiting for us to come and pick her up to go home.

And here we are home again which as you can see makes me smile, pleased to have her back so we can do some Grand Touring as they say!

I am sure this is not the most exciting thing you have ever seen but that's it when you have a car like this you learn to be interested in engines, gear boxes, sure you get the idea!

Have a great weekend everyone and
 thanks for stopping by.

And if you would like some more smiles you just need to pop over to see what our other friends have been doing this week at Annie's for
"This Week's Smiles" and you can also share your  smiles too.

Lovely to share the week with you. Glad you enjoyed Stamp Magic. I've just staggered back from Crafting Live at Bolton. Need to decide how much stuff to hide before Hubby gets home now!

It looks like you had a fab day out and of course you have to do some buying....they have your arm up your back don't they? 😀😀😀 I love your car and yes I get excited to see what's under the bonnet...I spent many happy hours helping my dad grind in new valves and maintain a happy engine 😀
Hugs,

Oh it's great to go to a crafting fair and see all the demos. It usually encourages me to try something new.
Must be wonderful to have your car back. I have never seen so many MGs together. A shame (for me) that they were all covered.... Yes, I like to see an engine. These are engines that can be tinkered with. The modern engines are no fun at all.
Have a great week,
keep smiling,
Lisca

I always went to the shows at NEC but I have not heard of the Doncaster Dome one. It looks good though. I love watching all the experts. I just wish I could record them all because I forgot what they all did by the time I get home.
I am not very into cars. As long as mine has four wheels and and an engine that works, I am happy, but it is good to know a bit about what goes on under the bonnet! Kate x
