Here we are with yet another Wednesday.

Anyway back to my desk Lol!

The Wallet Book!
Here is my desk for today, if you look around you can probably work out what I have been up to and here is a list of what I have been using recently:
- In the centre - the Wallet Book, not quite finished.
- To the left - some of Tim Holtz new snowflakes dies used for last week's Christmas cards.
- To the back left - some AtCs I have been making for a swap and some wooden Prima embellishments for the wallet book.
- Moving towards the right, Stickles glue also for the wallet book, gilding wax, glue and glaze.
- The Prima distressing tool, I have been using to edge the card for the book.
- Packets of tags ready for Tim's tags (if I ever get round to making one this month Lol!)
A couple of extra pictures showing other parts of the wallet book.
Will post the completed wallet when finished.
Now I need to get on, finish this and make the Christmas wallet, hopefully.

I am such a sucker for a nice minibook :) I've not hear of one called a wallet book before but it does look a bit like one I've seen as a flip-flop book. I'll wait till it's all done to see f that is what it is but whatever it's called it look adorable.

I've never heard of a wallet book before! It's amazing, was it tricky to make? I love all the flaps and tags...you'd spend ages investigating all those!!

Thanks for your visit to my desk - yes it is a shame that we have to eat off the dining table too - I quite enjoy when my DH does a 12 hour night shift - not only does it mean that I don't have to cook a proper dinner it also means that I can keep my stuff all over the table till the next day - win win!!

I made 140 for the mission we support at church - and we needed those to sell at an auction at the beginning of the month - hence the "jumping the starting pistol". Just got the family specials to make now...

ReplyDeleteThanks for your lovely comment, and I'm glad you like my recent projects. I am keen to try the nuno felting on pure silk, as I handled some at the Devon Guild of Craftsmen Centre, and it was so fine you could hardly feel it. I haven't yet been able to source silk chiffon scarves at a price that isn't silly.

I've got guite a few snowflake dies but none of them are TH!
I can't bear to throw any scraps away unless they are tiny. I have a tiny, tiny gears and cogs die which I use with the tiniest scrap card :)

You never fail or disappoint, your work is wonderful and I love your wallet book, as for the tags, I have only ever done 1 of Tims tags and that was years ago. I have his books that I need to work through but hey it will happen one day. I will be back to see what you do next Angela.
