Back again for another Wednesday.

So here is my desk this week.
Today I have some of the tests I've been doing with the Tyvek.
First I painted it.
And then placed it over a rubber stamp, covered it with baking parchment and ironed it.
And this is the result so far.
I have done this before but I am always surprised how clear the pattern is.
Hope you like it too.
I am definitely going to use this as part of the decoration for my journal cover.
But for now....I'm off to see what everyone else have been doing.

Another inspiring post, Angela!! I have done this with Angelina fibre, but never thought of doing it with Tyvek. You could almost use this as a stencil! I simply must try this.
ReplyDeleteHaving some stress at home at the moment with Mum, and I've got a colonoscopy on Monday, and my creative mojo has flown out the window, I'm afraid - not for long, I hope. Hence my not taking part in WOYWW for a couple of weeks. I shall try and visit a few people, though. Have a great week.

I am ALWAYS looking for new ways to work with Tyvek, so this made my heart go pitter patter. What type of paint did you use, because I can't seem to get any to stick? It all flakes away when dry. Happy WOYWW from #2.

ReplyDeleteHad to Google Teyvk as had no idea what it was ... but guess it must have a lot lower melt temperature than red rubber. Wouldn't work on clear stamps. Great effect well done. Thanks for popping over. Shaz in Oz.x #44
