Hi Workdesk friends.
Here we are for another Wednesday at the Workdesk.
I am here again to show you:
"What's on my Workdesk this Wednesday".
If you don't know what this is all about then please visit the
Stamping Ground, our host Julia will explain.
As you can see, I am working on a space which seems to get smaller everyday at the moment.
I am still trying to get my Christmas cards made but I think I am getting into it now...... a bit late I hear you say but I always seem to have other distractions.
I would probably be better making all next year's cards before the new year while I am still in festive mode Lol! but I never do, maybe this year!
Anyway this is what I am working on at the moment.
Still need several that will go through the post so they need to be fairly flat.
Well that's it from me today, back to the card making after I've had a look round.
Now off you go to look what everyone else is up to.
Thank you for stopping by.
Have a great woyww
and
happy crafting,
Angela x

Wow, that blue snowflake is stunning, and it looks so good against that gorgeous background - I love it! I didn't really think about cards going through the post until I realised I couldn't even get mine in an envelope - they are going to have to wrapped like gifts! Oh well, I'm off to start making a new batch of flat ones!!
ReplyDeleteHave a great week,

ReplyDeleteLovely card Angela. I like the dry embossing. I'm late with my cards as well. I have only just started. (and mine all have to go abroad), although I don't have that many, they still need to be done.
ReplyDeleteHave a good week,
Lisca#11
Hi Angela, love your Christmas card, it's beautiful. I'm still plodding along with mine, so you are not alone. I often think I should start next years whilst I have all the Christmas stuff out, but it never happens. Have a great week, Hugs, Shaz #4 xxx
ReplyDeleteA beautiful card! Very elegant. Your idea of doing next years Christmas cards is striking, but what will you do next year, when the festive mood arises?

This is a gorgeous card Angela.Just your style- elegant and layered.
ReplyDeleteI love your card Angela and your Cuttlebug. I might have to buy something similar just for embossing because I haven't got that capability. Happy WOYWW! zsuzsa #34
ReplyDeleteYour card is looking gorgeous Angela, every year I say I`ll carry making Christmas cards, but never do..

Lovely card, Angela, and I do love the embossed background. I love my Cuttlebug! So much you can do with it. I joined in WOYWW again for the first time today - to show off my awful ARTHaven which is just a dumping ground and rather sad looking! I got my cancer all-clear news on Mon which is great news but I am having trouble processing it and having rather a complicated reaction, but I am sure this will pass in time and I will bounce back as my normal self again.
ReplyDeleteHappy WOYWW,
Shoshi #21
Thanks for your return visit, Angela, and I'm glad you think my room looks tidy lol lol!! I am hating going in there at the moment, until my mojo returns and I can face going in and tidying, and getting stuck into making art again. Thanks for your encouragement - I will get there in the end but these early days post-cancer free news are proving more difficult than I expected!

Your card in this post and the one just previous are truly lovely, Angela. I'm always amazed at anyone who actually mails cards, never mind makes them as well. Bravo you!!!
ReplyDeleteGreat plan to do cards ahead but you may change your mind about the design by next year! I like the ticket you attached to the snowflake card. I am assuming it is a Tim Holtz. I like the blue with the brown, so pretty!
