WOYWW - 953 - What's On Your Workdesk Wednesday.

Welcome to all my new followers, hope you enjoy the journey.

Hi Workdesk friends.
Here we are for another Wednesday at the Workdesk.
I am here again to show you:

"What's on my Workdesk this Wednesday".

If you don't know what this is all about then please visit the
Stamping Ground, our host Julia will explain.

So here is my desk for today!

I have been so busy making the baby journals that I've not had time for anything else so the desk is still full of stuff waiting to be sorted and put away.
I have however almost finished the first one which is the Baby Boy journal and I'll show you a few pics of it further along.
In the centre of the desk is a plastic folder with lots of baby bits and bobs.

To the left are bits of left-over paper that I'm turning into journaling cards etc. Tiny doily and some very pretty ribbon might just be useful.

And on the right side is a tin with buttons, some flowers from the Craft Box and some coloured twine too.

This is the paper pack that I used for the journal. No way am I going to let that front cover go to waste you just wait and see!
Those of you with a good eye for hidden goodies might notice the label on the right which is an Karen Burniston die.

And to finish off here are a couple of 'sneaky peek' pages.

These are the first two pages.

I made this first journaling card for the Baby's details.

Hope you like this so far, nearly ready to start the girly one.
Hoping now that I've made this one the next one should come together quicker as I have something to work from.
So that's me done for today.

Thanks for stopping by and hope you will pop over and join in the visits around the other desks.

I'm off now to see what everyone else is up to.
Have a great woyww
and
happy crafting,

Angela x

  1. I love your little journals. I have always been a fan of the mini-album and just love working out new and different sots of constructions. Looking back on some that I have made (I fell down a rabbit hole at some point, and it was on my own blog! DOH!) I can barely remember them and my own instructions occasionally flummox me. Usually it becomes clear but not always. I think my brain is just not in that space at the moment. Anyway, I've drifted. YOURS are lovely and glad you shared some of the pages.

    Happy WOYWW!

  3. I've had a busy morning...been to the hospital for blood tests, back for a late breakfast and then had to shorten 3 the 3 nurses dresses and a pair of jeans before I could start my blog visits...so here I am a little late today.
Wow Angela what a wonderful baby journal....you've put so much work into making it.
    Stay safe and well.

  5. What a gorgeous baby book you have produced. Is it for someone special? I was wondering as you are making one for each sex if it was or is for you to sell on.
Either way it is lovely and you must be so pleased with it. Love that blue doily at the beginning. What a pretty shade.
Stay safe and well, Hugs, Neet 14 xx

  23. Thanks for your return visit, Angela, and I'm glad you enjoyed the kitties and my needle books! My hubby has also been busy in the garden this past couple of days - it's that time of year, clearing and pruning etc. and we are still getting loads of apples! I don't think we've ever had such a big crop, and they are huge ones, too!

  24. I am not into 'sweet coloured baby albums' and was a bit afraid to see that, but your album is just gorgeous!!! Love that Angela! Thanks for your visit to my blog last week. In the Netherlands there were stricter rules announced in order to get the covid-number down but I am allowed to stay working at location - pfew! That's a release! Stay healthy and happy! Love from Holland. Marit #2

  28. Hi Angela! That journal will certainly be something to be cherished! And hopefully the next one will come together easier, though from my experience, once you've done one, you now have the expertise to change things up...! Thanks for your earlier visit, sorry I'm so late, have a great rest of the week! Lindart #28
