Masterboard card ideas

Still busy Bloggies  with the Masterboard samples.
And all this from one A3 sheet of paper which has got to be value for money lol!
I have cut the card with Spellbinders dies: Decorative Labels Twenty-Eight and Labels Twenty Eight.
The dragonfly stamp is by Stampendous: Dragonfly Vine.

I have cut the black card twise with the labels Twenty Eight.
The green card and the masterboard once with the same die.
The green insert is a smaller die from the Labels Twenty Eight set.
The small Masterboard insert was cut with a smaller die from the Decorative Labels Twenty Eight set.

I completed the design by adding stickles glue to the wings of the dragonfly and the leaves of the vine, Cosmic Shimmer Pearlescent PVA in pink and black brads.
The stamped sentiment is from a Justrite stamp set.

The close-up shows how well the cosmic shimmer glue sets on the cards into solid shapes.

Hope you enjoyed this card and I will be back soon.

Masterboard card ideas

Hi Bloggetters  here are  more ideas for using the masterboard.

For this card I used memory box stamp 'First Flight' I just love the butterflies and I stamped them twise without adding more ink which makes them appear to fly into the distance as they fade away.

Had to use the flash on this so it has burnt out the colour a little.

The grasses are by Inkadinkado and are called 'Meadow'.

I layered the print up with black and turquoise card and added the brad and bow before mounting it onto the card.

I stamped the butterflies onto the insert after blotting them first on waste paper.

And because I liked the card so much, I decided to make another in a different colour.

Hope you are liking my efforts using the masterboard.
Back Friday with more ideas.

Masterboard Monday

Back again  Bloggers  with the first card made from this weeks Masterboard.
I used the JustRite clear stamp set, Grateful Heart and the matching Labels two die to cut the shapes.
The flourish stamp is also in the set.

The embossing folder is by Sue Wilson.

Once you have made the Masterboard the cards are quick to complete.

As I haven't decided yet what occasion this card will be for, I have made the sentiment general.

I completed this card with pink gems in various sizes.

Back tomorrow with the next sample.

Masterboard Monday

Hi Blogmates  I have survived the weekend and managed to do some crafting.

Here is another of my masterboard efforts, I actually had this one in my folder just waiting to be made up into something.
This is what I like about the technique, you just play around with inks and a light stamping and then leave it until you feel in the mood or you are short of time and you have a half made backing paper just begging to be used lol!

This is a piece of A3 paper which I sprayed and swiped with a combination of red, turquoise and a little green ink.
I then added a text stamp in red and black and that was it.
I have probably had this shet of paper in my folder for months but now it will be transformed!

Here you can see the full A3 sheet.

This is a close-up of part of the paper.

And these are my initial samples.

And a close-up.

Card samples to follow tomorrow.

Bye for now,

Greetings Card

Hi again  Bloggers  this will be an interesting weekend as I have men in altering the kitchen. It has taken me all week to get ready for their arrival. So now you know why I have neglected the blog lol!

Another simple and quick card to make but quite like it.
Unusually for me, I stamped directly onto the card with the text stamp to create a background which I think worked okay but I generally prfer to do this on paper and then attach it afterwards.
It's less likely to go wrong lol!

Bye for now,

Greetings card

Hi Blogmates I feel I have not done much on the blog this week but I have been busy doing other things and I need a few ideas that I might use.
I have a list of greetings cards to make and my brain has been elsewhere so I have been hunting down some old cards for ideas.
I need to make birthday cards and wedding cards.

Quite like this, made it for an ill friend but it could be adapted for other occasions and it's quick to make which is what I need at the moment. It will do for starters.
Back tomorrow.
