Here we are for another Wednesday at the Workdesk.

So here is my desk for today!
Slightly staged for my dear followers.
As promised I am showing you some Gelli prints.
The paints on the left are Eco Green Crafts Acrylics. They are made from Natural pigments and the tubes are recycled plastic where possible. You may notice on the left that I seemed to have gained yet another exploding box!

Now I did say that this was staged because I am actually working on my tube box at the moment, hopefully you will see that soon.
So that's me done for today a nice quick post.

I had a go at gelli printing on a workshop once and then went on to win a gelli plate and bought a book on it. The plate has disappeared into the depths of the craft room and the book remains unopened on the shelf haha.

I think exploding boxes are bound to take over the world at some point, lol! I do like the results of your gelli experimenting, it's a fun technique!

ReplyDeleteI haven't used my Gelli plate for ages but I will be getting it out before too long as I keep seeing lovely things made with it. it's just that I need a good run at it. Delighted to see what you have been doing and to know what you are going to use them for. Look forward to seeing them in use.

ReplyDeleteThanks for your comment. I am so sorry you couldn't have family for your father's funeral. Had mum died earlier during lock down I would not have seen her or had funeral so I count myself fortunate. It was not the funeral it would have been but at least we had one. Anne @ 16
Those papers are absolutely gorgeous, Angela! I like the sound of the eco paint - not heard of that before. It's a good idea. I'm looking forward to seeing your tube box in due course. Thank you for visiting and I'm glad you like my tiny carpets and my outfit! The new head magnifier is proving to be worth its weight in gold as the work is pretty fine.
