Welcome to all my new followers, hope you enjoy the journey.
Hi Workdesk friends.
Here we are for another Wednesday at the Workdesk.
I am here again to show you:
"What's on my Workdesk this Wednesday".
If you don't know what this is all about then please visit the
Stamping Ground, our host Julia will explain.
So here is my desk for today:
I'm working on using up some more old patterned papers and left-over stuff today and yes Angela (Crafting with Jack) the papers are quite thin but okay for this type of card.
I have tidied the exploding box as it was getting rather out of hand again.
I received these new stamps this week and can't wait to have a play with them.
I think it's a great collection of images (sorry about the light shining on the plastic).
I'm kind of hiding this a bit as I'm making it for my Monday blog but you can see something similar if you look at Monday just below this post here: In fact there are two card ideas that you might like.
And that's me done really nice and quick.
Thanks for stopping by and hope you will pop over and join in the visits around the other desks.
I'm off now to see what everyone else is up to.
Have a great woyww
and
happy crafting,
happy crafting,
Angela x
Oh that's a new PaperArtsy set to me Angela, is it a new or old release? Look forward to seeing what you create with them using up those papers.

Interesting collection of purple papers for your project, it looks good already gathered together like that! Great new stamps too, you’re going to have a lot of fun playing with those - the two characters look very steampunk!

ReplyDeleteYour new stamp set spoke to me. I love them. I can see many uses for these stamps. Happy WOYWW from #2.
ReplyDeleteGreat new stamp set, I can just see you creating something fab with those. The purple creation looks intriguing and I just had a peak at your previous post - I love the effect of the paper strips, that's such a pretty card you made - the 3D one looks a bit too involved for me, I'm not the most accurate measurer!
ReplyDeleteHope you have a good week,
Diana xx #17
A great stamp set , I am sure you will make some amazing creations with it. Happy WOYWW Angela #3
ReplyDeleteJust for once I’m checking on day of posting! Looking forward to seeing developments on Monday xx
ReplyDeleteA nice new set of stamps, Angela, and I look forward to seeing your mystery project in due course. Thank you for your visit, and also for the advice about Altenew - I will certainly follow that up! Very helpful. I'm glad you enjoyed seeing my transformed room, and also the delightful ring I was given.
ReplyDeleteHappy WOYWW,

Those are some cool stamps Angela - I'm sure you'll make good use of them! I've got some Tim Holtz stamps on order and I couldn't wait to get them - so I printed them from an online image and used them that way - which made me think perhaps I shouldn't spend so much money on stamps that I only get to use once or twice LOL! Have a lovely week! xx zsuzsa #22
ReplyDeleteVery interesting collection of images on that stamp set, can't wait to see what you do with them. Happy WOYWW! Elle #24, EOTC
ReplyDeleteThat is a great looking stamp set Angela and the patchwork backround on your card in progress looks fab. Stay safe and happy WOYWW. Sarah #6
ReplyDeleteI had a busy morning shortening 3 hems on a bridesmaid’s dress and then steaming it And since lunch I’ve been for my annual diabetic eye test (although it’s 18 months since my last thanks to Covid!) so I’m just catching up with a few blogs before the football starts.
ReplyDeleteI love the purples you’ve been working with this week.

HI Angela! Thanks for your visit! I've often wondered myself what would happen if Inky caught her tail - but she never does. And doesn't she know it's HER tail?? It's like she's never seen it before! LOL! I love your new stamp set, it looks like something I would love to use on a journal page! I look forward to seeing what you create with what's in the envelope! Have a great week, Lindart #28
ReplyDeleteI like this new set of stamps you just bought. Especially the key image but then I do like the two boys and I can imagine how useful the others will be in backgrounds and fillers.
ReplyDeleteI like the purple paper strips - now you have me wondering what is the hidden bit. Monday!!
Hugs, neet 11 x
Interesting purple project and stamps.
ReplyDeleteI looked back at your previous post and love that standing card! And what a great herringbone pattern with the leftover strips!

Thanks for your visit, I am playing catch up, we took 2 days to get away and It was fun. I visited your previous post and I love both card ideas. You are so creative. I'm planning to photo the covers of the playing cards in a day or so and I have the same issues you talked about. ATC..I've used a few warn decks for creating but the old decks are hard to break up. Usually 25/50 cents at the thrift shop and I cannot walk away !! Have a great weekend.
ReplyDeleteWhat a fun set of stamps, Angela - I'm looking forward to seeing them in action! Your desk is always inspiration plus, and keeps me coming back week after week. xo
