Welcome to all my new followers, hope you enjoy the journey.
Hi Workdesk friends.
We are here for another Wednesday at the Workdesk and here is:
"What's on my Workdesk this Wednesday".
If you don't know what this is all about then please visit Sarah's Craft Shed and our host Sarah will explain.
So here is my desk, this was Monday!
I decided I needed to open the new ledger journal. That's a cloud stencil you can see on the top and I've placed Washi tape around the edge before adding the detail and the Oxides and brushes are at the ready.
I've also made another card which may look like the one you saw last week but it was made in a different way with a cloud die instead of a stencil and the details are on the Monday post here: if you're interested.
So that's me done for today.
Thanks for stopping by and hope you will pop over and join in the visits around the other desks.
I'm off now to see what everyone else is up to.
Have a great woyww
and
happy crafting,
happy crafting,
Angela x
Well done for starting the ledger journal! the clouds look fab over the background. I look forward to seeing how it progresses. Helen #1
ReplyDeleteWonderful work 👏 👌
ReplyDeleteInteresting! I see why you’ve done the stencil in order to put the dogs feet behind the clouds, just a different technique - I think your painted cloud master boards are just as good! The journal page is rather lovely xx

Interesting, that ledger journal. Wasn't sure it would suite me, but how you've done the page makes me think again... Happy WOYWW!

Defo think your cloud stencil/mask is having a great run for its money. Love how you have stenciled over the ledger writing, super card too. The damp was pretty bad with water running down the walls as the paper is vinyl. Hoping the hubby gets it sorted, thanks. Hugs BJ#5
ReplyDeleteWhere do you buy all these Lawn Fawn things from? I can only see one retailer and postage on the stencil is the same price as the stencil. Makes it expensive but i guess I will have to go with it as I have lingered too long (because of postage). Did you get yours from a show?
ReplyDeleteYou really have become a master of the clouds regardless of stencils or dies and those dogs of Kates just fit perfectly.
Love your ledger journal page, the addition of yellow and pink makes all the difference to this imo.
Queen of Masterboards hmas become Queen of Clouds too.

ps I don't think the nurses will give up on the ankle, from the way they were talking they are becoming quite concerned because it is not a pressure wound but a trauma wound (tech talk). I'm more bothered about the size of my legs and want my original ones back. Thanks for your concern.

What a fascinating ledger you are using. Old documents are so interesting aren't they. I love the cloud effects - you are so clever at combining all your techniques.😃 x x Jo 🌈
ReplyDeleteI really love the page you've been working on and the latest card is gorgeous.

Your cloud ledger page looks great. Your cloud pages are so effective. Hope it’s not too warm for you, I may be starting to melt! Hugs Angela #12
ReplyDeleteYour journal page is lovely as it is now but I look forward to seeing what you are planning to add to it. I love the balloon dogs on the card and it's fun to have them leaping about in the clouds. Have a great week. Elizabeth x #14
