Welcome to all my new followers, hope you enjoy the journey.
Angela here again to show you what I've been up to this week.Daisy and Alfie have decided it's just too hot to do anything but they are keeping an eye on each other just in case.
He is not a lover of vegetables but has ordered extras to make me happy Lol!
Whether he eats it all or not I cannot be sure.
Hope he doesn't expect this now he's back home.
The next thing is a bit worrying.
I haven't seen the stream in the park look like this before, it's so dry. Even the bushes on the sides look dry too.
It normally looks like this.
Lots of water and bright green bushes.
Praying for rain!
And the grass looks like this!
We had a tiny amount of rain but it's made little difference.
When we moved here from Lancashire it was the first time I had seen grass like this and thought it was Global Warming but when I saw the weather forcast I realised it was still raining in Wigan.
Linconshire is definitely a warmer part of the country.
We have been for early walks before it got too hot for the dogs.
Just to finish here are Schnauzers on the beach.
It's probably better if our two don't see any of that.
Stay cool and have a great weekend,
thanks for stopping by.
"This Week's Smiles" and you can also share your smiles too.

Hi Angela, the dogs 🐕 and children are delightful. We definitely need rain 🌧 here in Montreal as well, the trees 🌳 are not their usual beautiful green colour. Kind of sad looking. Thanks 😊 for the laughs 😃 at the end of your post. Stay cool 😎 and hydrated.
Hubby's meal looks just fine to me. I am not a big fan of meat though I am not vegetarian, and I do like veggies so this would be right up my street. And the dessert looks delicious.
It is sad to see the parks so scorched. It was, of course, the norm in Spain. But hopefully it will all regenerate when the rian comes. I must say the park opposite our new house didn't look as brown as that so I guess they have had more rain in Shropshire.
I hope the dogs weather the heat OK. I am sure you are doing all that is necessary to protect them. Kate x
Oh, lucky you the hot weather, it cooled down a lot here.
Your dogs might like our weather...But rain we don´t have, either.
Well, of course from now on you are to serve meals like this at home! Kidding.... Funny, happy dogs as good bye, have a great Friday, weekend and rain, hugs xXx
What a shame about the drought. I think they will need to have a re-think if this trend continues. I mean plant more drought resistent plants and have less lawns like here in Spain. We don't have lawns. The green gardens on the Costas are a sort of succulent and it's not comfortable to walk on.
The schnauzers by the beach photos made me smile.
Wow, that looks like a lovely meal. I'd order that any day. (I'm like your hubby in that I don't like veggies.)
You have a giraffe in your shed? Yes, please show us next time.
I once read a delightful book called West with Giraffes by Lynda Rutledge. I have written a blog about this book but I can't remember when. It's based on a true story of two giraffes being transported from New York docks to San Diego zoo in 1938. I recommend it.
Happy T-Day,
Lisca
I think we have rain coming soon so we will all be able to hear the gardens sucking it up :-) I love the pic of the end to end dogs...they dont want to miss a thing lol
Hugs,

I wished you a happy T-Day. How silly of me!
So may I then instead wish you a great weekend,
Lisca
Okay - now I'm drooling all over the computer with your husbands meal, and especially the dessert. I need a new cook in our house!!!
