WOYWW - 837 - What's On Your Workdesk Wednesday.

Welcome to all my new followers, hope you enjoy the journey.

Hi Workdesk friends.
We are here for another Wednesday at the Workdesk and here is:
"What's on my Workdesk this Wednesday".

If you don't know what this is all about then please visit
Sarah's Craft Shed and our host Sarah will explain.

So here is my desk for today!

Not very exciting as I've just been tidying up after my last card project.
Stencils, dies and stamps.

Details here:
Which ended up looking like the card above .......

I have been making a baby Fly Agaric to go with the other two.

Many of my fungi are stored here and my little snail who is trying to escape bottom right.

So that's me done for today.

Thanks for stopping by and hope you will pop over and join in the visits around the other desks.

I'm off now to see what everyone else is up to.
Have a great woyww

and
happy crafting,

Masterboard Monday.

Welcome to all my new followers, hope you enjoy the journey.

I am here today to show you a card made with this Masterboard:

This Masterboard is smaller than my usual ones at A4.

I used Distress oxide inks and a stencil by
'My Favourite Things'.

With just a small piece of this Masterboard I created this card.....

This is what it looks like closed.
The sentiment is stamped. I think this was free from a magazine at some time as were the hot air balloons and birds.

The diecut front sides are by XCut.

The card is 5" x 7" and I joined two together after die cutting the sides.

I also applied Stickles Glitter glue on the Balloons and birds.

Plenty of room inside for a message too.

I would love to hear your comments.

Many thanks for stopping by and happy crafting,

Friday Fun Day.

Welcome to all my new followers, hope you enjoy the journey.

Angela here again to show you what I've been up to this week.

It seems to have been dog week.

This is not a good photo but had to show you how interested Alfie is in seeing hubby working on the laptop.
Maybe he is advising him about what to write on his reports.

When he's not helping with that he's guarding the front door.
This is his favourite spot as he knows that if he sits here quietly when people come to the door he gets a biscuit so it's worth sitting here in the hope he might get another.

The Alfie rule...
If you don't get one you have to give them the look until they feel guilty and give you one.

Daisy however prefers to sit at the top of the stairs where she get's a better view of things.

And if it gets boring she has a sleep until something happens or Alfie persuades someone to bring bicuits!

Lots going on in the park this week, they do look after it well.

The lake's busy too.

How pretty is this!

And this was at the garden centre, what a beauty!

To finish here are a few very naughty schnauzers.

This one could be Alfie as he often brings in bits of the garden.

Have a great weekend everyone and
 thanks for stopping by.

And if you would like some more smiles you just need to pop over to see what our other friends have been doing this week at Annie's for
"This Week's Smiles" and you can also share your  smiles too.

WOYWW - 836 - What's On Your Workdesk Wednesaday.

This was actually Monday but not much has changed since then.

Instructions for making this can be found here on the Monday post.

However, I have been doing some more felting with the Fungi Club.
On the left are some more of the ATCs and at the front a card I'm working on.

I think you might have seen the mushroom on the left, 'Larch Bolete' and the latest one I've been working on is the 'Old Man of the Woods'.
I know that Neet wanted to see how I was getting on with this though it's not finished yet.
So that's me done for today.

Thanks for stopping by and hope you will pop over and join in the visits around the other desks.

I'm off now to see what everyone else is up to.
Have a great woyww

and
happy crafting,

Masterboard Monday Use it or Lose it.

Welcome to all my new followers, hope you enjoy the journey.

I am here today to show you a card made with this Masterboard:

This is a piece from an earlier project but still plenty of it left over.
The masterboard was finished with embossing paste and gold leaf.

The balloons were cut with some Clarity papers and the embossed card was done with a Tim Holtz embossing folder then mounted onto a piece of white card and later on to the card blank.

I love these balloon dies as there is a great variety of different ones.

The curved part of the Masterboard was cut with a die by Memory Box.
I finished the design with some coloured gems and a birthday stamped sentiment and that's it.
Hope you like it.

Lots of balloons left so you may well see those again soon.

I would love to hear your comments.

Many thanks for stopping by and happy crafting,

Friday Fun Day with Smiles.

Welcome to all my new followers, hope you enjoy the journey.

Angela here again to show you what I've been up to this week.

This was last Saturday at the Craft Club.

Everyone who joined in my class had a great time and produced some lovely cards.
I was looking at ways to use double sided card.
I love it but can't stand losing one side but with these cards you get to keep both.

These were some of my samples.
If you were around earlier in the week you may have already seen these here.

And some quick cards to use up all the left-over card.

The rest of this week has been quiet for me as hubby has been away again visiting schools to check the teachers marks but don't worry I have lots to do.

Monday, I decided to catch up with my housework which I would normally have done on Saturday.

Tuesday, ironing but don't worry Felting in the afternoon with Sophie on the Felting Fungi club.

Wednesday blog visits and another felting class.

Thursday hubby came back and he's got Friday off so we are going to Meadow Hall, Sheffield for a day out for shopping or as hubby says shopping hell! misery guts but he is taking me and he has a voucher for M&S so he might just buy something which will be a miracle as most of his clothes I have bought at some time.

So that's it really.

Still not got the car back but she should be ready next week.

Daisy and Alfie are at the kennels this week

I found this doggy check list that tells you how they feel.
Daisy was a bit under the weather when she came back from the kennels last time.
Her tail was definitely number 7 so got this out as a check list. They don't get as much sleep as they have at home.
There was nothing wrong with her I think she was just tired and in a couple of days she was chasing Alfie round as normal and her tail became number 1 in no time at all so we'll see what she's like when she gets back on Saturday.

Have a great weekend everyone and
 thanks for stopping by.

And if you would like some more smiles you just need to pop over to see what our other friends have been doing this week at Annie's for
"This Week's Smiles" and you can also share your  smiles too.
