Friday Fun Day

Welcome to all my new followers, hope you enjoy the journey.

Angela here again to show you what I've been up to this week.

Great fun at the Craft Club on Saturday.

And here is our Sandra introducing the project.
We take this in turns.
If you have an idea that the others might like we do it as a lesson.

And these are some of what were made, they are so sweet.
The cats are free from Printable Heaven.

And my desk for the day.........

Look at those cute ears.

If that's not enough her's Alfie and Daisy.
She doesn't usually sit there but the sun was shining through the door so Alfie had to move over so she could do a bit of sunbathing.

That's it really so we'll finish with a few funnies.......

Hope you enjoyed those.

Have a great weekend everyone and
 thanks for stopping by.

And if you would like some more smiles you just need to pop over to see what our other friends have been doing this week at Annie's for
"This Week's Smiles" and you can also share your  smiles too.

woyww - 821 - What's on Your Workdesk Wednesday.

Welcome to all my new followers, hope you enjoy the journey.

Hi Workdesk friends.
We are here for another Wednesday at the Workdesk and here is:
"What's on my Workdesk this Wednesday".

If you don't know what this is all about then please visit
Sarah's Craft Shed and our host Sarah will explain.

So here is my desk for today!

My desk for this week is just full of Christmas cards but don't worry I'm moving on soon but got a few made which will make things easier later in the year. I'm managing so far not to have an exploding box!

More cards using the Woodware stamp. I'll be posting all the details soon.
I've been trying this style of card with different colours.

Thought you might like this desk too though actually Saturday at the Craft Club.

This was a project from one of the club members.
Who wouldn't love these cute cats and dogs.

Anyway, that's me done for today.

Thanks for stopping by and hope you will pop over and join in the visits around the other desks.

I'm off now to see what everyone else is up to.
Have a great woyww

and
happy crafting,

Masterboard Review of 2024

Welcome to all my new followers, hope you enjoy the journey.

I am here today to show you some cards that I had fun with last year with a mechanism:

I've had these papers for ages by Craft O'clock.

They are great fun cards to make.

These papers are by Stamperia.

The mechanism can be done length or width ways.

These papers are a magazine freebie.

I have done some mixed media and resin projects this year too.

That was so much fun to make.

Caught up with some older craft kits too.

And a large collection of Artist trading cards.

I'm hoping that this will be the last of the reviews and there will be new stuff next week but it's good to look back.

I would love to hear your comments.

Many thanks for stopping by and happy crafting.

Friday Fun Day with Smiles.

Welcome to all my new followers, hope you enjoy the journey.

Angela here again to show you what I've been up to this week.

I'm not sure I've been doing a lot of anything but I have joined the Felted Fungi club which has occupied me some what and I've been working on some new Christmas card ideas though probably will finish this soon and move on to something else.

So just happy photos today.

Sent to me by my friend in France.
This is Lake Annecy and a festival that takes place in March.
Do you think she's trying to tell me something!

This is normally Alfie's place but Daisy has taken it over today.

Interesting Schnauzer info.....

Schnauzers tend to be a bit crazy during this age and then calm down at about 36 months though no one seems to have told Alfie!

I'm off to the Craft club on Saturday and this is the card we are going to make so should have more to show you next week.
They do look cute.

Not much else today so I'll finish with a few funnies that just prove how intelligent our doggie friends are.

Have a great weekend everyone and
 thanks for stopping by.

And if you would like some more smiles you just need to pop over to see what our other friends have been doing this week at Annie's for

WOYWW -820 - What's On Your Workdesk Wednesday.

Not really!

Don't panic this was actually Thursday last week when I decided it had to be sorted, couldn't stand that mess any longer but in doing it the mess got worse!

If you were around on Friday you may have seen it already.

But it's all sorted now and there is actually a tidy box and space on the desk too but fear not it wont last long.

For those of you who were wondering what the circles of card were for I have started using them on some new Christmas cards which I would have done before now but as you know I haven't been quite myself so here's the first one.

Woodware stamps for this card and Oxide inks.

Started by applying some ink to the card with with a blending brush and flicked water to give the faux bleach effect and left to dry.
Next stamping the images onto the card and some black splatters.
I used a ball shaping tool to shape the circles and attached them with Pinflair glue gel to give some depth to them.

So that's me done for today.

Thanks for stopping by and hope you will pop over and join in the visits around the other desks.

I'm off now to see what everyone else is up to.
Have a great woyww

and
happy crafting,

Masterboard Monday - review of 2024

Welcome to all my new followers, hope you enjoy the journey.

I am here today to show you a card made with this Masterboard:

I love these inks by Lixsa Horton but need to play with them again soon as I think they have more to offer.

Smooshed the colours on first and then added the leaf stencil.

Cut the masterboard into duitable sized pieces.

Layer up the design with suitable colours of card and attach to the card blank.
I stamped my sentiment at this stage (Woodware).

And then a diecut image by Sizzix for Tim Holtz.

If you have any left over pieces to use up this is another trick.

Choose a die that cuts into the card rather than cuts the design out.

Die cut a piece of card to fit the top of the card front, add a sentiment and gems then attach the Masterboard piece between this and the card blank.

And you have a great CAS card.

You could use other dies and replace the image when you've cut it out.
The designs are simple but effective.

Hope you like them.

I would love to hear your comments.

Many thanks for stopping by and happy crafting.
