Friday Fun Day with Smiles.

Welcome to all my new followers, hope you enjoy the journey.

Angela here again to show you what I've been up to this week.

I couldn't resist it, Daisy and Alfie have gone Steampunk again (Ai manipulated)

from this original photo.
It's interesting that the Ai even adjusted the photo slightly too. Very clever.

Last Saturday I enjoyed a day out at the Doncaster Craft show.

This is the Make and Take part where you can join in with some crafting.

Not too busy when I arrived but it soon filled up.

I always like to stop off and watch the demonstrations.

This is not just for paper crafters and there's plenty for those who love fabrics too.

If you need to update your sewing machine you can do that too.

Not that I need another sewing machine but I still love seeing the new stuff.

And there's lots of them.

But I can't ignore the beautiful card samples.

That guy is so cute and yes it looks like Christmas is on it's way.

Thought you might like to see this guy too. He stands near the entrance and is covered in paper flowers.
Not sure he'd make a good race horse though.

Other than that it's still been warm here so not much happening in the garden but the grapes are getting a bit bigger.

I think that's enough for today.
Stay cool and have a great weekend.

Leave me a comment and I'll pop over to see what you've been up to this week too.

WOYWW - 893 - What's On Your Workdesk Wednesday.

Welcome to all my new followers, hope you enjoy the journey.

Hi Workdesk friends.
We are here for another Wednesday at the Workdesk and here is:
"What's on my Workdesk this Wednesday".

If you don't know what this is all about then please visit
Sarah's Craft Shed and our host Sarah will explain.

So here is my desk for today!

Not very exciting though, I've been having a rest as I had a busy weekend.

This is a great magazine with freebies by Woodare.
Look forward to playing with these.

A few new dies which I'm sure you'll get to see soon.

My busy weekend was spent at the craft show at Doncaster Racecourse.

I may not do so much sewing now but had to pop along to see what was on display.
This machine was very well behaved unlike some older embroidery machines we used to use!

I am so pleased to see these and the number of people interested.

Lots of fabric stalls too.

But that's enough for today.

So I'm done.

Thanks for stopping by and hope you will pop over and visit the other desks.

I'm off now to see what everyone else is up to.
Have a great woyww

and
happy crafting,

Friday Fun Day with Smiles.

Welcome to all my new followers, hope you enjoy the journey.

Angela here again to show you what I've been up to this week.
I had a great day out at the Doncaster Craft show on Saturday.

There were lots of people there including a gang from Hobbymaker.

And it's not just paper crafting, if you like to sew you would love this show.

Great collection of fabrics.

This company had so much available that it was difficult to know where to start.

The layout was amazing and so much stuff.

You know those weeks when nothing really happens....well this has not been one of them!

Sunday we went to the fair in the park, lots of charities have stalls there.

Tuesday we went to Chapel St. Leonards near Skegness.
It was heaven, so quiet and the dogs loved it too.

The cooler air was a pleasure.

This is where the Observatory is based and a cafe too. We had a bacon sandwich, very nice.

This is Alfie getting into his position for a rest after the walk.

I'm not sure how he stays on but this is his favourite spot.

Thursday we went to the Garden centre to get new walking trainers for hubby and of course breakfast in the cafe.

Finally a few instructions from our friends Alfie and Daisy.

And Alfie says:

And Daisy has something to add here:

They had their hair cut last week so I thought this might be what they're both thinking.

And finally:

Have a great weekend everyone and
 thanks for stopping by.

And if you would like some more smiles you just need to pop over to see what our other friends have been doing this week at Annie's for
"This Week's Smiles" and you can also share your  smiles too.

Hi Workdesk friends.

"What's on my Workdesk this Wednesday".

If you don't know what this is all about then please visit
Sarah's Craft Shed and our host Sarah will explain.

So here is my desk for today!

I had a great day out Saturday at the Craft Show at Doncaster and I'm still sorting out a few things that a bought.

Sorry about the glare.
I have stamps, embossing folder and a stencil by Waffle Flower, UNIKO, Inkilicious and Spellbinders.
I'm sure you will see these again soon.

It's been uncomfortable here this week and standing at the desk has not been much fun but I did make a quick card with another of my cloud stencils and thought you might like to see it.

If you need it the details can be found here:

So that's me done for today.

Thanks for stopping by and hope you will pop over and join in the visits around the other desks.

I'm off now to see what everyone else is up to.

WOYWW - 890 - What's On Your workdesk Wednesday.

I'm working on some more collage papers to add to my Masterboard Grid journal.
Using some Kate Crane stencils for this.

I can't really say there is anything much different here today but I know you wanted to see some of the stuff I brought back from Doncaster craft show so here they are.

The Doncaster show is run by Create and Craft and they have these £10.00 goody bags for sale and I just can't resist a surprise and here's what was in it.

Not bad really, mostly Studio Light in this bag which I love so good for me. They do let you look in the bags before you accept it so there is a choice if you're not sure but this had some great die sets, stamps, Brush markers, shaker blisters, card and die cut images, so I think that's well worth ten pound.

Sorry about the shiny bits, photographed these with the light on last night.

Now this wasn't all I bought obviously!

Dies, gems, stamps,stencils.
The Woodware stamps are all Christmas themed and hoping to give these a go sooner rather than later, like not the week before Christmas Lol!

I went to this craft shows with a list of about four things and come back with all these!

So that's me done for today.

Thanks for stopping by and hope you will pop over and join in the visits around the other desks.

I'm off now to see what everyone else is up to.
Have a great woyww

and
happy crafting,

Friday Fun Day with Smiles.

Welcome to all my new followers, hope you enjoy the journey.

Angela here again to show you what I've been up to this week.

My main day of fun this week was at the Crafting live show at Doncaster.

This was Saturday and it was really busy.

But a great day.

Had to photograph these as I know Annie will love them.
I was well tempted myself as this company have some gorgeous fabrics.

Also had a look round the Woodware stamps too, some nice ideas for Christmas cards, it will be here before we know it!

Then off for lunch.

I did pop outside for a bit of fresh air and although it was dry it was quite dull so didn't stay out for long.

If you didn't know already this is Doncaster Racecource.

Obviously bought a few things home with me!

I'm off out again today but will show you photos of it next week and for now wishing you a great weekend with lots of smiles, great company and timed to spend
with someone you love.

Have a great weekend everyone and
 thanks for stopping by.

And if you would like some more smiles you just need to pop over to see what our other friends have been doing this week at Annie's for
