WOYWW - 561 - What's On Your Workdesk Wednesday.

Welcome to all my new followers, hope you enjoy the journey.

Hi Workdesk friends.
Here we are for another Wednesday at the Workdesk.
I am here again to show you:

"What's on my Workdesk this Wednesday".

If you don't know what this is all about then please visit the

Stamping Ground, our host Julia will explain.

So here is my desk for today!

I'm working on a new pop-up card and the tube boxes have had some work done to them but other than that there's not a lot happened because I was busy last week with parents, hairdressers, dentist, shopping. Cinema, just crazy how everything happens at the same time and that's without the normal stuff like housework......wash my mouth out Lol!

Since I saw you last I did paint the tube boxes with white Gesso and now I'm onto the colour.

I will just keep adding colour until I'm happy with it and then start with some wax.
Can you see that old wood mounted stamp? It's by Judi Kins and is still a favourite. The one at the back is a new Altenew stamp.

I'm also working on a Tuxedo pop-up box card for Easter.

And this side looks quite tidy but I was out all day Saturday at the Craft Club so didn't get much chance to mess the desk up really, yes last week was busy!

So that's me done for today.

Thanks for stopping by and hope you will pop over and join in the visits around the other desks.

I'm off now to see what everyone else is up to.
Have a great woyww
and
happy crafting,

Angela x

Well, considering you had such a busy week with events, you still managed to pack a load in craft wise as well! The tubes are intriguing but what really caught my eye was the exploding box, that's fun!

I love any stamp with texture ... they are so multipurpose. The tubes are coming along nicely and I know what you mean about adding colour until you are happy. Have a lovely week.

I’m super impressed at your progress Angela, real life is enough in a busy week! The tubes are looking marvellous already..gives me a bit of a kick as to trying something with my two....its looking like a recycling spot on my desk rather than a creative space because of empty pots! I miss Judikins...like you, still love and use my stamps..those big ones are particularly useful aren’t they.

Those tube boxes are gorgeous. Love that tuxedo pop up box, is that your own design or is it available online?

What gorgeous colour you are adding to your tubes. They look really nice now that colour is on. I love how these things grow. Can't wait to see a photo of them when they have been waxed.
Hope we get to see the tuxedo card when it is finished, I can imagine it being very stylish.

I have just had to do a scroll back through your blog as I somehow missed the beginning of the tube transformation. when I first glanced at your post I thought it was some kind of giant fancy icecream and was just about to lick the screen! Lol. what a transformation already.
Can't wait to see the end result. Hugs Mrs A. p.s. i promise not to lick it.

WOW! Love the tube boxes and the pop up! You've been busy! Life does take over at times. I've visited a friend in the hospital twice and am thinking of going back on Friday. She's 80.
Have a wonderful week!

Nice busy desk, Angela. Your tubes are simply fabulous! It's amazing how it all comes together once everything is the same colour, and they look good enough with just the gesso before you added the colour, but wow, they are now looking totally stunning! Thank you for your visit and the kitty hugs (always appreciated!).

Happy WOYWW,

Hi there and thanks for popping by. I am fascinated by the tubes, must look back at your post to find out more!
You have been busy! I've let some stuff slip - some calls etc re my Auntie. Also spent more time crafting instead of doing stuff I should be doing! Dreaded housework being one of them! Anne X 15

Thanks for visiting, Angela - I hate not being able to find things! When we first moved and I was setting up my studio, I wasted hours because I couldn't remember the places I'd chosen for stuff. It takes a while to settle in. Enjoy the process!

Those textured tubes are looking amazing - gorgeous colours, and I'm looking forward to seeing how they end up once the waxes are layered over the top. The Judikins stamp is fabulous - stamp envy here! Hope you're enjoying a quieter week this week.

Sorry I am late getting back to you ... no excuses other than I simply have no idea where time goes to! Your tube boxes are fascinating - shall look forward to seeing them when they are finished. Love your comment about your desk ... mine is only ever tidy when I am out too! In fact my project for today was to tidy my main craft table and one of my cupboards ... alas, it already seems it might turn out to be tomorrow's project! Love to you, Debbie xXx
