Friday Fun Day with Smiles.

Welcome to all my new followers, hope you enjoy the journey.

Angela here again to show you what I've been up to this week.

It's felt very strange here this week as the dogs are in kennels and it's been very quiet though I have got lots of jobs done.

Normally we would have been away this week so booked them in earlier this year as the kennels are always busy at this time of the year so we've been out and about without them.
They are going to be there for two weeks but you'll find out soon where we are.
They like it there as they can bark and run around as much as they like but will probably be scruffy when we get them back.

So I will be quick today and finish with some funnies.

Please be aware these are Schnauzers but not Daisy or Alfie.
I have more sense than to leave them alone.

Have a great weekend everyone and
 thanks for stopping by.

If I'm late getting to you please forgive me as I may not be at home today and that's all I'm saying for now.

And if you would like some more smiles you just need to pop over to see what our other friends have been doing this week at Annie's for
"This Week's Smiles" and you can also share your  smiles too.

Friday Fun Day With Smiles.

Welcome to all my new followers, hope you enjoy the journey.

Angela here again to show you what I've been up to this week.

My lettuces are getting a bit overgrown they seem to have a life of their own but they do taste good.

The clouds have been gorgeous this week and very artistic, great ideas for my next Masterboard.

I was a bit surprised when I picked some of the beetroot, they are a differtent type
than I usually grow and much lighter coloured.

I have some more photos on my phone but it's decided not to let me access them, maybe next week so finishing with some funnies.

When you feel under the weather get a schnauzer.

Now this is a big Schnauzer!
The giants are gorgeous but you will need a bigger sofa!

Have a great weekend everyone and
 thanks for stopping by.

Friday Fun Day with Smiles.

Welcome to all my new followers, hope you enjoy the journey.

Angela here again to show you what I've been up to this week.
I had a great day out at the Doncaster Craft show on Saturday.

There were lots of people there including a gang from Hobbymaker.

And it's not just paper crafting, if you like to sew you would love this show.

Great collection of fabrics.

This company had so much available that it was difficult to know where to start.

The layout was amazing and so much stuff.

You know those weeks when nothing really happens....well this has not been one of them!

Sunday we went to the fair in the park, lots of charities have stalls there.

Tuesday we went to Chapel St. Leonards near Skegness.
It was heaven, so quiet and the dogs loved it too.

The cooler air was a pleasure.

This is where the Observatory is based and a cafe too. We had a bacon sandwich, very nice.

This is Alfie getting into his position for a rest after the walk.

I'm not sure how he stays on but this is his favourite spot.

Thursday we went to the Garden centre to get new walking trainers for hubby and of course breakfast in the cafe.

Finally a few instructions from our friends Alfie and Daisy.

And Alfie says:

And Daisy has something to add here:

They had their hair cut last week so I thought this might be what they're both thinking.

And finally:

Have a great weekend everyone and
 thanks for stopping by.

Friday Fun day with Smiles.

Welcome to all my new followers, hope you enjoy the journey.

Angela here again to show you what I've been up to this week.

Daisy and Alfie have decided it's just too hot to do anything but they are keeping an eye on each other just in case.

These two belong to my friend, they are artists in the making.

Hubby sent me these photos while he was away so I know he is eating healthy. This is lamb and sweet potato.
He is not a lover of vegetables but has ordered extras to make me happy Lol!
Whether he eats it all or not I cannot be sure.

Then apple pie and blackcurrant icecream.
Hope he doesn't expect this now he's back home.

The next thing is a bit worrying.

I haven't seen the stream in the park look like this before, it's so dry. Even the bushes on the sides look dry too.

It normally looks like this.
Lots of water and bright green bushes.
Praying for rain!

And the grass looks like this!

We had a tiny amount of rain but it's made little difference.
When we moved here from Lancashire it was the first time I had seen grass like this and thought it was Global Warming but when I saw the weather forcast I realised it was still raining in Wigan.
Linconshire is definitely a warmer part of the country.

We have been for early walks before it got too hot for the dogs.

Just to finish here are Schnauzers on the beach.

It's probably better if our two don't see any of that.

Stay cool and have a great weekend,
 thanks for stopping by.

Friday Fun Day.

Welcome to all my new followers, hope you enjoy the journey.

Angela here again to show you what I've been up to this week.

It's so good to see the schools making good use of the park. The children are so lucky to have such a great place to visit.

The Heron is waiting for his dinner. We know there are lots of fish in the lake and he obviously does too.

Friday last week we went to the garden centre for lunch. It looks quiet at the moment but soon got busy later.

Appart from that it's been quiet here as the dogs are still in the kennels and hubby is away working.
These should be the final school visits all being well unless there is a panic when the board realises there are schools that haven't had a moderation, it does happen sometimes for all kinds of reasons.

I've got a few jobs done while he's been away but having a bit of a problem with my laptop at the moment, they just know the worst time to act up so doing this on the main computer but have limited photos to show you.
I'm hoping I can link up with you all and get round to check what you've all been up to but if I can't you will have to forgive me this week.

I'm off to the hairdressers this morning so hoping everything is back to normal when I get back, fingers crossed!....probably wishful thinking but we can but hope!

It's felt a bit like that but my two will be back Saturday so I'm off to the craft club leaving hubby to do the dog washing as I know they will be scruffy after two weeks in the kennels.

Now that's convenient Hee! Hee! it's not planned really it's just that it's Craft Club day. Lucky me!

Have a great weekend everyone and
 thanks for stopping by.

Friday Fun Day.

Welcome to all my new followers, hope you enjoy the journey.

Angela here again to show you what I've been up to this week.

It seems to have been dog week.

This is not a good photo but had to show you how interested Alfie is in seeing hubby working on the laptop.
Maybe he is advising him about what to write on his reports.

When he's not helping with that he's guarding the front door.
This is his favourite spot as he knows that if he sits here quietly when people come to the door he gets a biscuit so it's worth sitting here in the hope he might get another.

The Alfie rule...
If you don't get one you have to give them the look until they feel guilty and give you one.

Daisy however prefers to sit at the top of the stairs where she get's a better view of things.

And if it gets boring she has a sleep until something happens or Alfie persuades someone to bring bicuits!

Lots going on in the park this week, they do look after it well.

The lake's busy too.

How pretty is this!

And this was at the garden centre, what a beauty!

To finish here are a few very naughty schnauzers.

This one could be Alfie as he often brings in bits of the garden.

Have a great weekend everyone and
 thanks for stopping by.
