Friday Fun Day with Sad Smiles.

Welcome to all my new followers, hope you enjoy the journey.
Angela here again to show you what I've been up to this week.

The pond has been very frozen.
Don't think I've seen so much ice develop before.

You can probably see the lumps of ice that were there.

So far the fish look okay as we keep the water flowing to release gasses from the pond and stop it freezing up completely though it is also quite deep at the center.
Not long after taking these photographs it just suddenly got warmer and the frost and ice disappeared.

More garden centre visits.
This one is Brigg in North Lincolnshire.

The reindeer where singing and moving their heads. I did make a video on my phone but not worked out yet how to put it on the blog.

They are so cute and very realistic.

This was a massive collection of little houses and Merry-go-rounds.

I have never seen a display as big as this before and they are truly magical.

You can buy most of the pieces that were used here though I cannot imagine what it would cost to put this together never mind the space needed.

We spent Christmas at my mum's this year as usual, think she enjoyed it. It was quiet but think she likes it that way now.

Daisy and Stanley.

Sadly this is the last photograph of Stanley as he passed away this week.
We will miss him so much and so will Daisy.

I'm sorry it's a bit sad here today.

If you would like to see what our other friends have been doing this week pop over to Annie's for "This Week's Smiles" and you can also share your smiles too.

Wishing you all a Happy New Year.
Take care and stay warm.

WOYWW - 708- What's On Your Workdesk Wednesday.

Welcome to all my new followers, hope you enjoy the journey.

Hi Workdesk friends.
We are here for another Wednesday at the Workdesk and here is:
"What's on my Workdesk this Wednesday".

If you don't know what this is all about then please visit the
Stamping Ground, our host Julia will explain.

So here is my desk for today!

Like most of you I'm sure there is not much going on at the desk.

I have a new set of dies from Art by Marlene (Studio Light) which I hope is going to help me to use up some of that paper and card stash that's been sitting around for far too long.

There are lots of bits and pieces that come with this set.

I have had this card pack for some time. It's really pretty but I just couldn't decide how to use it so here goes.

I have taken one of the 12"x12"pages and cut the tag fold.

This is one of the reasons I have problems with these papers/cards because they are printed on both sides......I know it's silly but I find it difficult to cut into them and lose one side, so what to do?

This side.....

or this side for the front!

I've cut out some more pieces too.

So Many decisions!

Other than that it's pretty quiet right now but I'm sure I'll have more to show in the new year especially if I can make my mind up about what to do next!

So that's me done for today.

Thanks for stopping by and hope you will pop over and join in the visits around the other desks.

I'm off now to see what everyone else is up to.
Have a great woyww
and
see you in the New Year.

No only joking! I thought you might be too busy for crafting this week so just sending you best wishes and happy thoughts.

Daisy and Stan are here to wish you all a very Merry Christmas.........Woof Woof!!!!

Sorry about the fairy she looks as though she is trying to escape or she had too much Christmas Punch.

And here are a few more photographs taken earlier to make you smile.

I think they like each other.
Look at that face.

Hope your Christmas is a happy one with lots of smiles.

Hugs

Friday Friday Fun Day with Smiles.

Welcome to all my new followers, hope you enjoy the journey.
Angela here again to show you what I've been up to this week.

Still very cold here and we've got fog instead.

This was the trip to mum's, very frosty.

But much warmer here when we visited the next garden centre.
Those guys above were rats....Christmas rats!

Now we could really scare the Herons off with that guy Lol!

How cute are these.

And another crazy bird.
He was singing and reciting poetry.

The cafe was nice and not too busy either though I think we had just missed the busy lunch time as they were all on coffee and cake by then.

Very comfy seats too.

There is a lovely view through the window, actually it's a gorgeous window too.

Another Schnauzer Christmas tree to start off the funnies.

Now what about that for a Christmas present.

Very pretty wintery scene.

Not sure he looks very happy, maybe he doesn't like wearing that hat Lol!

More post about to be chewed up!
Well that Schnauzers for you.

Wishing you all a very Merry Christmas and
 thanks for stopping by.

And if you would like some more smiles you just need to pop over to see what our other friends have been doing this week at Annie's for
"This Week's Smiles" and you can also share your  smiles too.

Christmas hugs,
Angela xXx

WOYWW - 707 - What's on Your Workdesk Wednesday.

Not very exciting today though I have done a bit of crafting working on a new idea for next year's Christmas cards.

The stamps came free with a recent magazine.

The stamp on the left is by Stampotique.

The set above are by AALL and Create.

These are facial sponges but I think they may get more use on the craft table.

I do have my dear friends close by to keep me company.

I know some of you were interested to see more of my resin projects but as it's so cold now the resin doesn't work so well but I do have something that I made earlier which you might like.
This is a ring holder.

But look what happens when you light it up.

This little box is so clever as it changes colour and rotates too.
If you were wondering the hare is needle felted.

So that's me done for today.

Thanks for stopping by and hope you will pop over and join in the visits around the other desks.

I'm off now to see what everyone else is up to.
Have a great woyww
and
happy crafting,

Angela x

Masterboard Monday.

Welcome to all my new followers, hope you enjoy the journey.

I am here today to show you a card made with this Masterboard:

I needed a few extra Christmas cards so here is a quick Masterboard using an old Stampotique stamp.
You've got to love their quirky style.
The Masterboard is A3 so plenty to play with.

I've also used an equally old die by Spellbinders for the embellishment, matching shiny cords, metalic card and Stickles Glitter Glue.

So sit back and enjoy.

I decided the Masterboard needed some colour and used small blending tools to dab it on. I used the same colours for the layering pieces.

The card blank was embossed with a dotty embossing folder.

I think these worked quite well but I would love to hear your thoughts.

Many thanks for stopping by and happy crafting,

Angela x
