Masterboard Monday.

Welcome to all my new followers, hope you enjoy the journey.

I am here today to show you a card made with some left-over Masterboard:

Now I wonder if you've guessed where the topper for this card came from!

You may remember this card from an earlier post here:

And these were the left-over pieces which I have turned round and mounted onto a blank card.
Simple but effective, I'm sure you'll agree.

Just finished it off with a few enamel dots, pearls and a nice sentiment.
So that was one Masterboard and at least four cards!
I am so loving this technique using the Press and Seal and if you missed the original tutorial relating to this you can find it here.

I would love to hear your comments.

Many thanks for stopping by and happy crafting,

Masterboard Monday - Floating die cut card.

Welcome to all my new followers, hope you enjoy the journey.
I am here today to show you a card made with this Masterboard:

It is a piece left over from an earlier project but I just have to use up some of these as they seem to be growing so fast.

I've die cut some hearts first.

And then arranged them on a card blank placing them over the sides slightly. By now you may have guessed I'm making another Floating Die Cut card.

When you're satisfied with the arrangement cover them with Press and Seal and smooth it in place to attach the hearts.

Remove the whole thing from the card blank and place the dies in position.

Die cut and add sticky dots to the heart shapes.

Before attaching the hearts to the card blank, position the images to work out where the sentiment should be and put the stamp in position.

And stamp it.

Now prepare the sticky dots and position onto the card blank. Smooth the Press and Seal and then gently remove it. I've applied some of the smaller hearts around the sentiment too.

I've finished the card by adding enamel dots.

Just a few final pics to show you the depth of the hearts.

I would love to hear your comments.

Many thanks for stopping by and happy crafting,

Welcome to all my new followers, hope you enjoy the journey.

Hi Workdesk friends.
Here we are for another Wednesday at the Workdesk.
I am here again to show you:

"What's on my Workdesk this Wednesday".

If you don't know what this is all about then please visit the

Stamping Ground, our host Julia will explain.

So here is my desk for today!

I'm making another card at the moment but can't really show it yet but it's similar to the one I posted here on Monday
I've been making some Floating Die cut Cards and that's all I'm saying but the instructions are here.

The exploding box is so full that I've had to prop stuff up at the side. These might give some idea of what the new card might look like.
Any way I'm shutting up before I get into trouble Lol!

So that's me done for today.

Thanks for stopping by and hope you will pop over and join in the visits around the other desks.

I'm off now to see what everyone else is up to.
Have a great woyww
and
happy crafting,

Masterboard Monday.

Welcome to all my new followers, hope you enjoy the journey.

I am here today to show you a card made with some left-over pieces of Masterboards:

These balloons were all cut from the left-over pieces. I've had these for a while until I decided to have a go at making a Floating Die Cut card which is a new technique for me.

The first thing you need to do is arrange the images onto a piece of card so you know where the design needs to be in relation to the card you intend using.

Smooth over the design a piece of 'Press and Seal' which will attach it's self to the die cut pieces.

Place a shaped die in position. You may want to stick it down to prevent it moving.

Then remove this from the card.

And die cut.

Remove the die cut section and keep this for later.

Next attack sticky dots to all the balloons.

Work out the positioning of the sentiment and stamp that into the space.

Once that is done you can remove the covers on the sticky dots and attach it to the card then peal away the Press and Seal.

You can see here that the images appear to be floating which is how it gets it's name.

I finished the design with a few coloured pearls.

This is unusual for me as I left the background really plain but quite like it. It's definitely CAS.

I did pretty much the same with the die cut piece from the centre but turned it round.

Before attaching it to a 5"x7" card blank.

Again finishing this with pearls.

This was my first try with this style of card and I am looking forward to taking the idea a little further so watch this space.

Hope you liked those cards.

I would love to hear your comments.
