WOYWW - 875 - What's On Your workdesk Wednesday.

Welcome to all my new followers, hope you enjoy the journey.

Hi Workdesk friends.
We are here for another Wednesday at the Workdesk and here is:
"What's on my Workdesk this Wednesday".

If you don't know what this is all about then please visit
Sarah's Craft Shed and our host Sarah will explain.

So here is my desk for today!

I had to make a man's card this week and just couldn't decide what to do so he's getting a birthday cake.

I have had this stamp for a while so it's good to see it out and being used.

I stamped it a few times because I couldn't decide how I was going to finish this.

So I have fussy cut pieces from the stamped images and collaged them together attaching them over the one above.

Next is how to finish the card off?

This would have been easier had I decided to do this at the beginning but no problem I masked the cake and then stamped the sentiments, allowed it to dry and then edged it with green ink, mounted it over black card and then onto a white card blank.
I think it will do!

Finishing it with Stickles Glitter Glue.

So that's me done for today.

But due to a special request this is just for Mary Anne.......

I'm not really sure whether Mr Hare has been on full view here before but he's certainly been around so here is a better view for you Mary Anne and his friends the mice and Shooman.
Thanks for stopping by and hope you will pop over and visit the other desks.

I'm off now to see what everyone else is up to.
Have a great woyww

and
happy crafting,

Make it on Monday review of 2025.

Welcome to all my new followers, hope you enjoy the journey.

I am here today to show you a few more projects from last year:

Everybody's favourite the Fly Agaric.
And there little friend the snail, loved making him.

And this little fungi has been grabbed by a field mouse.

The hare is one of the earlier (very early) felted pieces I made.

These were interesting to make and are called
 'King Alfred's Cakes'

I decided it would be nice to have a baby Fly Agaric to finish off the group. It's interesting how these develop, hope I've shown you this here.

It's thanks to Sophie Wheatley for getting me back to this great craft.

I really need to get onto something new very soon! so watch this space!

Many thanks for stopping by and happy crafting, any comments will be much appreciated.

Make it on Monday review of 2025.

Welcome to all my new followers, hope you enjoy the journey.

I am here today to show you more of what I got up to last year:
Felting fun today.

You may have seen some of these before although I don't show them here very often even though I am felting something every week.

Occasionally something other tham Fungi.

Horse Chesnut.

Larch Bolete.

But Mushrooms are my favourite especially 3D.

Panther Cap.
This is still a bit fluffy so needs some more felting......when I get round to it Lol!

If you were around on Friday I showed you this one too.

I love doing 3D fungi but I'm working on the pictures too but what do you think?

Hope you like them.

I would love to hear your comments.

Many thanks for stopping by and happy crafting,

Friday Fun Day with Some Smiles.

Welcome to all my new followers, hope you enjoy the journey.

Angela here again to show you what I've been up to this week which actually hasn't been much though I am feeling better but it seems to be taking time for me to get back in the mood to do stuff so I did the ironing this week, how boring is that!

My dear friends are always here to keep me busy and make me smile.
This is Alfie.

And of course Daisy is never too far away. I think she was catching a bit of sun that was shining through the window.....yes the one day this week that we actually saw any sun.

It feels like ages now since we were away skiing and my dear friend who lives in Tigne, France sent me this.
Wish I was still there but we've been watching the winter Olympics to make up for it. There are some amazing skiers.

I have been working on some felting that I started a few weeks ago, a Zellers Bolete.
I find this very relaxing and if it goes wrong you can just pull the wool out and start again though I try not to let that happen too often.

I have many half made projects and need to get back to them very soon.

So that's it really, hardly a week full of fun so I'll finish with a few funnies:

This could be me Lol!

My tail wagging is improving slowly but I'll get there.

Maybe not quite this far yet!

Have a great weekend everyone and
 thanks for stopping by.

Leave me a comment and I'll pop over to see what you've been up to this week too.

Friday fun Day with Smiles.

Welcome to all my new followers, hope you enjoy the journey.
Angela here again to show you what I've been up to this week.

Lots of walking in the park this week whenever the weather was okay and here in Lincoln it's been quite good until Thursday when it rained really hard so we went to visit my cousin to take her some craft stuff for the Girl Guides. She's the District Commissioner for the area where she lives and I like to help when I can.

Daisy and Alfie are here to say hello, no idea what they're looking at.

Still picking Beetroot which are looking good.
Not sure how much Beetroot we can eat, didn't expect them to do so well really.

When the weather was too bad to garden I added to my felted fungi collection.

Always on the look out for fungi in the park and found these whoppers.

And yet bigger ones up here!

Think that's my week really except for the crafting.

And a very appropriate funny to finish.

This has been another hot week here and it's been difficult to do much.
We were at the Vet's on Thursday just for Daisy's check up and today they are going for a haircut but I'll get round to seeing you all when I get back.

Last week I mentioned that we have a giraffe in the conservatory well here he is and we've named him

George or even Georgina!

When hubby was visiting schools one of the Art departments were throwing him away and of course we can't have that so he has found a new home.
He needed some work doing as his ears as they were falling off and one leg was bent but he's feeling better now.
Someone had started applying decoupage paper and then stopped but for now he will stay as he is until I decide how to finish him off.
If you have any ideas let me know.

I thought these plants had finished earlier in the year but they've come back again and looking pretty.

Been doing some more felting with the Fungi Club and this one is called Devils Fingers.

This week we made a picture of this mushroom too but not quite finished it yet.

Despite the hot weather most of the garden is managing with help.

These were some pieces that Alfie managed to break off the original plant and after two years of care in the raised bed they have grown and are covered in flowers.

We have grapes too though it's unlikely they will develop into anything edible.

This could be me right now as I think the heat is shrivelling my brain but I need to think of something soon.

I am going to the Craft Show at Doncaster on Saturday so hoping I might come back with some ideas.

Have a great weekend everyone and
 thanks for stopping by.

And if you would like some more smiles you just need to pop over to see what our other friends have been doing this week at Annie's for
"This Week's Smiles" and you can also share your  smiles too.

Now you didn't expect to see this.
I did a class for the ladies at the Craft Club on Saturday and here I am stamping and embossing on some Vellum for them while they start their cards which ended up looking like this......

one of my samples.

Other than that here are some of my felting projects which Neet wanted to see.

Some I've done with Sophie on her Fungi club and some are older pieces.

Here is my Shrooman and his mouse friend though I'm not sure he's finished.

So that's me done for today.

Thanks for stopping by and hope you will pop over and join in the visits around the other desks.

I'm off now to see what everyone else is up to.

Friday Fun Day with Smiles.

Welcome to all my new followers, hope you enjoy the journey.

Angela here again to show you what I've been up to this week.
More gardening, been getting the raised beds ready

and netting the fruit trees, that is the cherries and damsons as I'm fed up of the birds and squirrels taking every bit of fruit so who knows maybe this year we might be able to keep a few.

It doesn't look very pretty but I'm sure it will be worth it, we'll have to wait and see.

Bonsai looking good.

This Azalea isjust so beautiful.

I love watching these flowers coming to life.

And there you are...beautiful Alliums!

Love these too.

Fish looking good.

This time of the year is so colourful in the garden.

Other than the gardening I've been working on my felting again.

Not sure but think it's nearly finished.
This is a Larch Bolete.

Just a few bits of good advice before I leave you.....

Have a great weekend everyone and
 thanks for stopping by.

And if you would like some more smiles you just need to pop over to see what our other friends have been doing this week at Annie's for
