Masterboard Monday

Welcome to all my new followers, hope you enjoy the journey.

I am here today to show you a card made with this Masterboard:

Seth Apter stamps for Christmas Cards!!!

Well yes! Cos I wanted stars.
I also added some detail using a stencil by Heart from the Heart.

New stamps by Elenazinski.

I have held off making Christmas cards but these are just brilliant so had to give them a go.

The next thing was to get the focal images ready using the new stamps.

First I stamped lots of the images onto watercolour paper.

Then coloured them in using alcohol pens.

Then cut these out.

Next cut a piece of the Masterboard to size and stamp the baubles using my stamp positioner.

At the same time I used a border stamp to finish off the edge and a sentiment stamp by Kaisercraft.
All ready now to add the coloured baubles.

And here are the two I've made so far.

I hope you like them as much as I do.
Back soon to show you more.

I would love to hear what you think about these cards and stamps and look forward to your comments.

Many thanks for stopping by and happy crafting,

Crafty Cardmakers Challenge - Monochrome.

Welcome to all my new followers, hope you enjoy the journey.
Hi! back again to tell you that it's time for another challenge over
at Crafty Cardmakers.

Jackie is hosting today and our challenge is Monochrome (hair and skin colours allowed).

As usual you can enter anything you fancy, it doesn't have to just be cards, as long as it meets the challenge, and doesn't exceed the 15 total challenges entered rule!

Hope you will join in.
And here is my project for the challenge:

To make this card I started with a Masterboard.
Apply Distress Oxide to the craft sheet and dab the card over it until you've picked up the colour.
I used several colours of pink to get this effect, Dry the card between colours to stop them blending together.

Next I used the same colours to stamp with.
The stamps I used were Paper Artsy by Emma Godfrey.
I used some of the flowers from the set to build the detail.
I Stamped these with Ist, 2nd and 3rd generation ink to build up depth to the design.

I also stamped a black card blank with the same colours. This is the good thing about Oxides, they stamp really well on black card.

To finish the card I cut two different sized square mats and one for the sentiment which were mounted on black. These were edged with the pink inks.
I attached the ribbon to the centre mat before mounting it onto the card.

As you can see I have also cut out some of the flowers to use for the decoration and applied small pink gems to the centre.
The larger flower was made with three layers and finished with 3D glaze and another pink gem before being attached to the card.

I hope you will pop over to see what the rest of the DT have been up to and maybe join in the challenge.
I look forward to seeing what you come up with too.
 Happy crafty card making.

WOYWW 391 # What's On Your Workdesk Wednesday.

Welcome to all my new followers, hope you enjoy the journey.

Hi Workdesk friends.
Here we are for another Wednesday at the Workdesk.
I am here again to show you:

"What's on my Workdesk this Wednesday".

Stamping Ground, our host Julia will explain.

So here is my desk for today!

There are things on here today which are new. The Tim Holtz Baubles have been available for a long time but well I just fancied them now they are quite difficult to get hold of but managed to find these. The other new things are the Mini snow flakes and Mini Greens.

Been cutting out crazy birds, dogs and hats, sure you can guess what they are for.

You may have noticed some bottles of nail varnish, got an idea for those.

The 'Exploding Box' is looking even worse today or better depending on how you see it Lol!

These are a few left over stars from an earlier project made with a Seth Apter stamp and Shrink Plastic.

New Masterboard but can't really show you properly what's under there yet.

Everything else is pretty much as it was last week.
If you've not already seen it this is my main project this week other than the Christmas cards.

I made this for Crafty Cardmakers and have a tutorial here and you can join in the challenge here.

So that's me done for today.

Thanks for stopping by and hope you will pop over and join in the visits around the other desks.

I'm off now to see what everyone else is up to.
Have a great woyww
and
happy crafting,

Angela x
