WOYWW # 504 - What's On Your Workdesk Wednesday

Welcome to all my new followers, hope you enjoy the journey.

Hi Workdesk friends.
Here we are for another Wednesday at the Workdesk.
I am here again to show you:

"What's on my Workdesk this Wednesday".

If you don't know what this is all about then please visit the

Stamping Ground, our host Julia will explain.

So here is my desk for today!

It seems like ages ago now but you may remember me showing you some coloured tissue paper and here's how it ended up.

I will do a tutorial on this but now is not the time, probably next Monday.

With the technique I used you get two slightly different finishes.

This is as far as I've got right now.
I'm using a new Woodware stamp, really love it.

So far stamped and heat embossed it and just got to decide what to do with it next.

So that's me done for today.

Thanks for stopping by and hope you will pop over and join in the visits around the other desks.

I'm off now to see what everyone else is up to.
Have a great woyww
and
happy crafting,

Crafty Cardmakers Challenge 226 - Add some Texture.

Welcome to all my new followers, hope you enjoy the journey.
Hi! back again to tell you that it's time for another challenge over
at Crafty Cardmakers.

Jackie is hosting today and our challenge is  Add Some Texture.

As usual you can enter anything you fancy, it doesn't have to be cards, as long as it meets the challenge.

Hope you will join in.
And here is my project for the challenge:

The background for this card was made with some left-over Masterboard.

You may remember seeing this earlier.
Details for making are on my blog here:

Paper Artsy stencil with Crackle paste.

Stamped and coloured this little chap.

Then attached him to the card.

I used some Tim Holtz Distress ink to bring out the crackle detail.

Then finished with a stamped sentiment.
Layered it with black card and onto the card blank.

I hope you will pop over to see what the rest of the DT have been up to and maybe join in the challenge.
I look forward to seeing what you come up with too.
 Happy crafty card making.

Friday Fun Day.

Welcome to all my new followers, hope you enjoy the journey.
Angela here again to show you what I've been up to this week, well last week actually.
First the gorgeous views.

Yes this is me! I know some of you are not keen on snow but you can't help but love the view and it was a lovely sunny day too.

Another sunny day!

 Next the gorgeous food.

Even the lunch times are special.

 And tea for two!

More desserts just because I know you like them!

Finally one of my favourites.

Now if that lot doesn't make you smile I don't know what will!
Not only do they taste good but they are very artistically presented.
More to follow next week.

Have a great weekend everyone and
 thanks for stopping by.

And if you would like some more smiles you just need to pop over to see what our other friends have been doing this week at Annie's for
"This Week's Smiles" and you can also share your  smiles too.

WOYWW # 503 - What's On Your Workdesk Wednesday.

I'm working on another Masterboard which is almost completed though I have no idea what I'm going to do with it yet.

I am also trying to flatten a card I made for the Crafty Cardmakers challenge on Monday so you can't see the rest of that yet.

Apart from that there's the usual stuff like glues and inks, gels and yes! two new Tim Holtz dies to the left which have just arrived.
And the two little cards just at the back right are Lift passes and you may get a clue by the pictures on them if you don't know what they are.

I think some of you were suspicious of what I was up to last week and some of you knew! I was not at home.
We were here.

And this was my desk when I wasn't outside enjoying the snow.

Have to be honest I didn't use it much. This was a day when it just snowed and snowed! but I will get round to finishing those cards I'm sure.

So that's me done for today.

Thanks for stopping by and hope you will pop over and join in the visits around the other desks.

I'm off now to see what everyone else is up to.
Have a great woyww
and
happy crafting,

Masterboard Monday.

Welcome to all my new followers, hope you enjoy the journey.

I am here today to show you a card well two actually, that I made with this Masterboard:

I started with a Paper Artsy stencil and Tim Holtz Distress Micro Glaze. Lots of Tim Holtz Distress Oxide ink then added more stencil detail and text stamps to create this Masterboard.

To add more interest to the design I have used a Darkroom Door stamp set and heat embossed the design.

Never quite sure what I might want so always stamp a few.

And here is the first one using the new Masterboard.

I stamped first and second generation birds on the card blank and then used some of the embossed birds over the layered masterboard pieces.
The sentiment stamp is by Cupids Clear Stamps and the faux stitching on the first card is by Crescendoh.com A few gems and Stickles Glitter Glue complete the designs.

Actually the first card was made using the bits left over after cutting this section out.
Waste not Want not as they say!

You may remember this card which I made some time ago with the same stamps, if you missed it the link is here.

Now which one one do you like best?
It's surprising what you can do with some waste bits of card Lol!
Lots more Masterboard left so you may well see this turn up again soon.

I would love to hear your comments.

Many thanks for stopping by.

I would like to enter this card in the following challenges:

You can guess the rest though I know that some of you will know the answer anyway.

So that's me done for today.
I know some of you want to see what I'm doing with the tissue paper and I haven't forgotten it will appear soon.

Friday Fun Day.

Welcome to all my new followers, hope you enjoy the journey.
Angela here again to show you what I've been up to this week.

Now how many of you knew who Graculus was?
Remember I showed you the bird.

Here is the real Graculus!
Do you recognise him yet?
You might now.

Image result for graculus noggin the nog

It's Noggin the Nog.

Now that's going back a few years.
First showing was 11th September 1959 - 1965 and then again from 1979 - 1980 and is considered to be a cult classic of Children's Television.

Other than that I have a few photos today and you will have to guess again though for some of you this will not be difficult!

Now I know this is not to everyone's taste! but it certainly makes me smile!

Have a great weekend everyone and
 thanks for stopping by.
