Friday Fun Day but not the best week.

Welcome to all my new followers, hope you enjoy the journey.

Angela here again to show you what I've been up to this week.

It's not been the best week for me as they cremated my mother on Wednesday morning and though I know it was time for her to leave us it doesn't make it any easier but this little fellow has been visiting us every day recently and it sits on the fence looking through the conservatory window.
That has to be smile worthy.

My mother will now reside in Sherwood Forest Crematorium which I know she would love as it's not far from Rufford Park where we used to take my parents quite often.

It looks like a very peaceful place.

It's not been too sunny this week but our garden
is looking nice and green.

Hubby has been sending me these photos

He's sending me these to prove that he is eating healthy while he's away.

I've been sorting some drawers and wardrobes as it's not just stash that builds up here and now have a couple of bags for the charity.

Think that's it really for this week so will finish with a few smiles.

I'm not sure who enjoys this most.
It's very relaxing.

Dogs just seem to sense when we're feeling sad.

Have a great weekend everyone and
 thanks for stopping by.

And if you would like some more smiles you just need to pop over to see what our other friends have been doing this week at Annie's for
"This Week's Smiles" and you can also share your  smiles too.

Friday fun day with Smiles.

Welcome to all my new followers, hope you enjoy the journey.

Angela here again to show you what I've been up to this week.

Some members of this family are having a nice time!

He's obviously decided it's time for a nap.

This was Monday when we went shopping.
There was a fire alarm and we all had to stand outside for a while but thank goodness it was a false alarm.

We went to visit mum mum as usual.
Not bad for 95.

From the eldest to the youngest.
How sweet is he!

And a proud sister too.

My friend sent me this photograph. These are artist designed Easter eggs.

And of course we can't finish without some dog funnies.

It has to be done.
If only!
Daisy always starts this off. She is obsessed with digging.

It's Bees at the moment they are trying to eat as we have ground bees.

Obviously!

Have a great weekend everyone and
 thanks for stopping by.

Friday Fun Day with smiles.

Welcome to all my new followers, hope you enjoy the journey.

Angela here again to show you what I've been up to this week.

Daisy and Alfie are here to wish you a Merry Christmas and hope it was a good one.

They wont however hang around for long as there's
playfighting to be attended to.

That was last weekend but on Christmas day we went to see my mum.

The care home always try to make things nice for everyone so today it was all set up for Christmas dinner.

In the hall you are met by baubles on the poster which were made by some of the residents.

I thought this was rather cute too.

Mum was in good spirit today.
Not bad for a 95 year old.

The care home are happy for you to take dogs in but we thought one at a time was enough so we took Daisy in this time after dinner and she was very good.

She's laid on the bed with mum, resting her head on the rail. I think she rather liked the comfy blanket.

This was yesterday!
I am beginning to think that somebody here thinks he ownes the place!
He does look comfy though.
Hubby had left them for a while and this was what I found when I came back.
It's got to make you smile though.

I don't know how he gets into these positions!

When you look at him from the back it's even more interesting.

He doesn't look impressed that I've woke him up either.

But it obviously didn't bother him for long Lol!

Look at that face...the sign of perfect comfort!

Who needs funnies when you've got these two!

This dog has no respect for my furniture!

Have a great weekend everyone and
 thanks for stopping by.

And if you would like some more smiles you just need to pop over to see what our other friends have been doing this week at Annie's for

See you in 2024.

Friday Fun Day

Welcome to all my new followers, hope you enjoy the journey.
Angela here again to show you what I've been up to this week.

This was Thursday last week when I went into town for my eye test it was quite busy as they were switching on the Christmas lights later that evening.

This was one of the Pop-up stalls selling pretty things.

We had to get back home so didn't stay for the lights going on and actually pleased we didn't as it apparently got really busy......

As you can see here.

Saturday was yet more fun, this time at the Craft Club.

Everyone just arriving.

Quite busy this week but it's the last meeting before Christmas.

And if you didn't see these on Wednesday, I made all these on Saturday.

Tuesday we went to the Hospital, another try at getting my mum there for her CT scan.

Success!

And we even managed to get her back for lunch too.

The Care Home felt sorry for us I think so they gave us some lovely fruit pudding, delicious!

One of mum's friends' sent me this photo. My mother was at her friend's wedding. Mum is the one at the back second from the right with red hair and the pale blue dress. Not sure how old she was then.

As the week went on it got cooler and you can see here that the garden was quite frosty but I've managed to get the net up off the pond water now as the herons fly over and the net resting on the water allows them to see into the pond. I know the herons find it difficult to catch fish at this time of the year but they can't have mine Lol!

This was the day after and I think it was even colder.
Alfie has just had his breakfast and is ready for his walk so he's cleaning his beard on the frosty grass.

I think that's about it really so I'll finish with a few Schnauzer smiles.

I could really do with one of these. Do you see the mini Schnauzer sat on top? That's Mini's for you.

This one even looks comfy.

Very hairy Schnauzers.

Mmmm....not sure my two would be so well behaved.

Hope that made you smile.

Have a great weekend everyone and
 thanks for stopping by.
