Make it on Monday journal pages.

Welcome to all my new followers, hope you enjoy the journey.

I am here today to show you a new journal page.

Started off by drawing a large circle to centre the main image and and a smaller one towards the top for the sun/moon then colouring the surface with Lisa Horton Inks. These interference inks are just so special even on this pale background.
I went over the smallest circle with white Gesso to tone it down.
When this was dry I stamped the trees twise giving definition and shadow.
Splattered with white paint and added the sentiment and that's your lot!

Hope you like it.

I would love to hear your comments.

Many thanks for stopping by and happy crafting,

Make it on Monday.

Welcome to all my new followers, hope you enjoy the journey.

I've been busy with the Christmas cards but needed a change of scene for a while so I am here today to show you another journal page.

My aim this year was to use the seasons as themes for the pages and this one is based on the things that I see in the park walking the dogs during November.

I used some Lisa Horton ink for the background and then used stencils to add the leaves and ferns finishing it with white splatters.

For the main images I used some fussy cut Fungi by Maremi's Small Art and
diecut ferns by Memory Box.

This is something I don't use very often but I saw the book and decided to give it a go, they are beautiful images and she has lots of other themes too.

Stencils.

Hope you enjoyed seeing this as much as I enjoyed making it.

I would love to hear your comments.

Many thanks for stopping by and happy crafting,

Make it on Monday.

Welcome to all my new followers, hope you enjoy the journey.

I am here today to show you a new Ledger journal page:

Started by covering the edge with low tack tape and then used the Altenew stencil to create the background, first by applying the pale blue and then turned the stencil over and applied the darker colour.

Even more free magazine stamps and I've added some die cut pieces too.

The centre panel was coloured using Tim Holtz Oxide inks with a blending brush and left to dry then stamped on the detail.
The sentiment was heat embossed and then I layered the panel onto white and black cardstock.
The background stamping and some of the die cuts were attached before adding the panel so they looked as though they were coming from under the panel to give more depth.
Next attached the panel and added more diecut plants so they were spreading over it.

I have added some colour and Stickles Glitter glue to some of the shells too.

I would love to hear your comments.

Many thanks for stopping by and happy crafting,

woyww - 852 - What's On Your Workdesk Wednesday.

Welcome to all my new followers, hope you enjoy the journey.

Hi Workdesk friends.
We are here for another Wednesday at the Workdesk and here is:
"What's on my Workdesk this Wednesday".

If you don't know what this is all about then please visit
Sarah's Craft Shed and our host Sarah will explain.

So here is my desk for today!

The exploding box continues to wobble a bit more each week!

I've been working on this journal page for at least two weeks as I just can't decide how to finish it.

You can probably see better here that I've used two stencils.
One created the Sea Urchins and one for the water effect which was added over the top of the first stencil which gives the effect of it being below the Sea Urchins.
I finished these by adding two colours of Stickles Glitter glue.

The difficult part for me now is whether to add anything else.
Guess you'll have to wait and see!

So that's me done for today.

Thanks for stopping by and hope you will pop over and join in the visits around the other desks.

I'm off now to see what everyone else is up to.
Have a great woyww

and
happy crafting,

So here is my desk for today!

There's not much going on here really as I'm still catching up since we got back from France.

I have managed to aquire some new stencils which are topping up the exploding box.

Now what shall I do with these?
They are all from one stencilled piece then scanned and recoloured.

ready to start something new.......hopefully!

I did finish my latest journal page before going away and if you want to see how it was made you can find it here on Monday's post.

My beautiful Grapes to finish.

Never had them like this before, they usually stay green and don't ripen.
So that's me done for today.

Thanks for stopping by and hope you will pop over and join in the visits around the other desks.

I'm off now to see what everyone else is up to.

Make it on Monday Journal Pages.

Welcome to all my new followers, hope you enjoy the journey.

I am here today to show you another Ledger journal page:

This new journal page is based on 'The Sea'.

The top and bottom are done with Stencils and Distress Oxide inks and the centre is applied using a blending brush to create the background.

The bottom section is a stencil by Marianne Designs.

And the top is Altenew.

I decided I wanted this page to be full of smiles so I've put together a crab by Waffle Flower.

If you were around last week you may have seen these already.
And this is where one of them ended up.

I just love this crab die.

And all the other dies too actually that I used to create this journal page.

The glitter parts were done with Crafters Companion Glitter paste.

The sentiment was done with a Picket Fence stamp.

A few shiny shells, some white shadow lines, spots and of course more Stickles Glitter glue to finish.

Hope you like it.
I would love to hear your comments.

Many thanks for stopping by and happy crafting,

Angela xXx

woyww - 848 - What's On Your Workdesk Wednesdasy.

You saw this on my desk last week and I'm here to show you the finished page.
The desk is not a lot different today, the little tubs on the right are sparkle embossing pastes and some fine gems for shaker cards to come.

The stencil for this is by Altenew.

There's quite a lot of detail here and the information for making it can be found here: if you need it.

So that's me done for today however I know that many of you have been interested in the cloud stencils so I've included photos of the collection here.
Please forgive me for having so many as several are years old.

It's interesting the variety available. Some are realistic and some are quite abstract.

You may need to enlarge the photo to see these better. Sorry it's difficult with some as they are on a white background.

If you need to know anymore about them just ask.

Thanks for stopping by and hope you will pop over and join in the visits around the other desks.

I will get round but it may take me a while this week as I'm doing stuff this week!
Have a great woyww

So here is my desk for today!

I said the clouds were being packed away but just had to do one more journal page first.

You saw this on my desk last week and here it is finished.

I have details of how to make this here:

The real today's desk is here.....

I've packed the cloud stencils away and got the sea stencils out.

The ledger page is ready for the next stage and the exploding box is filling up. A whole row of stickles glitter glue at the back there and some new Mini Distress Oxide inks on the left and almost forgot, some glitter paste on the right from Funky Fossil.

And that's me for today.

Thanks for stopping by and hope you will pop over and join in the visits around the other desks.

I'm off now to see what everyone else is up to.

Make it on Monday.

Welcome to all my new followers, hope you enjoy the journey.

I am here today to show you another journal page using the cloud stencils.

I just love this Ledger journal.

I had so much fun making this:

Prep. the journal page with Washi tape and apply the clouds with a stencil and Distress Oxide inks.
This one was a Waffle Flower stencil.

To make the rainbow all you need are circular nesting dies. Cut the circles in the different sizes with the appropriate colours and add the next smallest die to cut the card to create the rings.

These are the colours I've used.
With the largest circle (Red) I have only cut the small centre piece and then used the rest of it to attach the rings in place.

Once that's completed you can cut this in half.

This is such a simple way to make a rainbow without having to buy any special dies.
I first saw it done years ago in a magazine and almost forgot all about it until I decided to make this journal page and I'm sure the technique will appear here again and the spare rainbow too.

The sentiments (Studio Light) weren't too easy to read so I've enlarged those for you.

To finish this I've added some die cut clouds cut out with Studio Light dies, stamped raindrops and added spots of Stickles Glitter Glue and that's it.

I would love to hear your comments.

Many thanks for stopping by and happy crafting,

Make it on Monday.

Welcome to all my new followers, hope you enjoy the journey.

I am here today to show you what I've been up to but surprisingly not a card or a Masterboard but journalling today:

My new Dina Ledger Journal just has to be used so obviously it had to be clouds......sorry yes that's more clouds!
Washi Tape around the edge to start off and the Cloud stencil, this one is by Lawn Fawn.

Distress Oxide inks and the stencil and applied the colour with a blending brush.
I love this already.

I removed the washi tape but you can leave it on if you want, depends on what the plan is to complete it.
I added some Stickles Glitter glue at this stage.

And then had a play with some Die cut balloons while the glitter glue was drying.

I used some Clarity card to die cut the balloons.

And this is how I finished it.

The sentiment is Art by Marlene for Studio Light.

Be sure there will be more to follow in the journal soon.

I would love to hear your comments.

Many thanks for stopping by and happy crafting,

Angela x
