Make it on Monday.

Welcome to all my new followers, hope you enjoy the journey.

I am here today to show you a card made this weekend at the Craft Club:

This week it's a Twist and Pop Up Card using Clarity papers.

The front was made with a variety of stamps and dies.
I used a couple of the Clarity papers to die cut the sea effect and then gradually layered it up.

The stamps are by Altenew and I can't wait to play with the other things in the set.

The gorgeous circling fish in the background just bring it to life.
I finished it with Jelly Fish stickers.

This style of card stands up really well.

And opens like this...

Altenew stamps again and coloured fish stickers.
Finished with a little Stickles Glitter glue which always makes the details stand out.

When ever I make something like this I end up with pieces of card and paper that I just can't throw away but we have to do something with them Right!

So I've cut these into strips and arranged them diagonally on a sheet of A4 card but you will have to wait to see how I use that because I'm not sure myself yet.

If you like the Twist and Pop Up card there are lots of ideas on Pinterest.

I would love to hear your comments.

Many thanks for stopping by and happy crafting,

Masterboard Monday.

Welcome to all my new followers, hope you enjoy the journey.

I am here today to show you a card made with this Masterboard:

I may be getting obsessed with these!

If you were around last Monday you might have seen the instructions for making these masterboards here.

More clouds today and Hot air balloons too.
Sentiment was from a magazine and the embossing folder is by Spellbinders. The balloon is by IndigoBlu and the clouds were finished with Stickles Glitter Glue.

I've used the swivel die by Lawn Fawn on the inside and more magazine stamps for the balloons.

The die works so well with the Balloons and clouds.

The round Birthday stamp is an old one from my stash.

I'm sure this die will appear again soon.

I would love to hear your comments.

Many thanks for stopping by and happy crafting,

Angela x

WOYWW - 827 - What's On Your Workdesk Wednesdasy.

Welcome to all my new followers, hope you enjoy the journey.

Hi Workdesk friends.
We are here for another Wednesday at the Workdesk and here is:
"What's on my Workdesk this Wednesday".

If you don't know what this is all about then please visit
Sarah's Craft Shed and our host Sarah will explain.

So here is my desk for today!

Some of you may remember this style of card from last week.

And yes this is another.
The card for this one was 'Craft O'clock'

Some of you were interested in the cards that I showed you last week and I've put the instructions for the Bow Card on my Monday post if you're interested.
It's here:

I've sent copies of the instructions to Angela, Neet and Cindy. Hope they arrrived okay.

On my desk today I'm showing you the W/Accordion card again and the instructions for making it for all my friends that asked about it otherwise you may want to leave now Lol!

When you see it like this it looks much simpler, which it is you just need to get the folds in the right place.

I've decorated mine with matching ephemera.
This is from a set by Stamperia.
Lots of stickles Glitter glue too.

This is a plain piece of card on the back of the base to add further sentiments and messages.

Even looks good from the back and it's so good to see both sides of the card and remember if your patterned card is too light just attach the base to a 5" x 7" card blank.

Inside Pop Out Card ( Accordion / W Style) materials:

·        5”x 7” Card Blank if used / needed.

·        4 ¾” x 6 ¾” Base card any colour or white/black.

·       12” x 12” Decorative double sided card/paper ideally 180-200gsm so not too thick and cut to 12” x 6 ½” .

·        Inside sentiment Panel piece size depends on the front panel but could be placed on the back too.

Instructions for making:

Score the double sided card/paper at 1 ½” - 4 ½” - 6” - 7 ½”

Attach the 4 ½” right side to the base piece and fold the next piece (3) towards it and crease well. Fold the next crease going V and M until complete.

It is possible to attach the base to a 5” x7” card blank if the patterned card is not strong enough to let the card stand up but I did not find it a problem.

I added a plain panel piece to the inside to add a sentiment which is not seen when the card is closed but could be smaller or attached to the back or inside the 5” x 7” if used.

The size of this will depend on how you decorate the front as I like the inside panel to be hidden when the card is closed.

·        Add you chosen embellishments to complete the card.

Hope that’s useful but you can just send me a

message if you need help with it x

So that's me done for today.

Thanks for stopping by and hope you will pop over and join in the visits around the other desks.

I'm off now to see what everyone else is up to.
Have a great woyww

and
happy crafting,

As I've not done much else since Saturday I'm showing you my Craft and Chat club desk.

This is one of the cards I made.
I do have the instructions if anyone's interested. They take a while to prep and put together but it's nice to make something different.
I was surprised at how well they stand up.

And these are some made by other memebers of the club.

I was busy on Monday if you like collage Masterboards you will like this one.

 And this was last week.

I think Angela ( Crafting with Jack) is probably right the card I showed you last week is more of a W fold rather than Z fold.
I'm still working on these but had lots of distractions so still need to add the ephemera.

So that's me done for today.

Thanks for stopping by and hope you will pop over and join in the visits around the other desks.

I'm off now to see what everyone else is up to.

Hi Workdesk friends.
We are here for another Wednesday at the Workdesk and here is:
"What's on my Workdesk this Wednesday".

If you don't know what this is all about then please visit the

Stamping Ground, our host Julia will explain.

So here is my desk for today!

Sorry but I've not done anything with the Stamp Masterboards yet but these are a few samples of the cards my friends made last week at our Craft Day.

I shall probably make some more of these.

This is the one on the left.
I am really getting in to these with the pop out mechanism and my friends managed them too with a little help.

I rather like this one and think it would make a nice base for a Nativity scene too.

And of course we have to include some snowflakes. These are really quick to make once you've cut everything out.

So that's me done for today.

Thanks for stopping by and hope you will pop over and join in the visits around the other desks.

I'm off now to see what everyone else is up to.

Masterboard Monday

Welcome to all my new followers, hope you enjoy the journey.

I am here today to show you a card made with this Masterboard:

Stamps by Kate crane.

I call this a Pop In and Pop Out Card.
Hope you like it.

Such a cute snowman.

The pink part of the card was made by scanning and altering the colour using Picasa.

Not the easiest card to make but once you master the mechanism they work brilliantly.

And they look great too especially with these fun stamps.
I just love to see the hidden cards pop out as you open the card.

Of course our favourite little dog can't miss the party!

He is so cute.

In case you're interested these are the stamps and inks used for this project.
The sentiment stamp was a freebie from a magazine.

I think these images were just perfect for this card, but what do you think?

I would love to hear your comments.

Many thanks for stopping by and happy crafting,

Angela x

I would like to enter this card in the floowing challenge:

Stamping Groundour host Julia will explain.

So here is my desk for today!

Actually two desks today as I've been spending some time in the cabin trying out these new moulds.
These are by Prima for Finnabair.
Behind those, some clay that I used, Dyan acrylic paint and my rotating tool stand.

Now I'm back indoors working on the cards again.

It doesn't look too busy as I'm still working on a pop up card for the Craft Club.

Nearly sorted the Mechanism. At the side of them is a set of new stamps.

And on the right some new spare domed sponges as you use these quite a lot and the do wear in time.

One last thing is this card that I posted Monday and then I'm off to see what the rest of you have been up to.

Kate Crane's Balloon Dogs again.

So that's me done for today.

Thanks for stopping by and hope you will pop over and join in the visits around the other desks.

Have a great woyww

happy crafting,
