WOYWW - 691 - What's On Your Workdesk Wednesday.

Welcome to all my new followers, hope you enjoy the journey.

Hi Workdesk friends.
We are here for another Wednesday at the Workdesk and here is:
"What's on my Workdesk this Wednesday".

If you don't know what this is all about then please visit the

Stamping Ground, our host Julia will explain.

So here is my desk for today!

Hi all. Sorry everything seems a bit bright but here's my desk anyway.

I've been working on the Thrinchies again and not much else so the desk is just covered with the stamps and stuff I've used for these projects. I've posted two more on Monday which I know some of you have already seen.

This is probably easier to see the stamping and these will be part of the next Thrinchie.

Not quite finished yet though.

These two cards we made with Jo Channon on Saturday at the craft club.

And a little something extra today:

I went to the Steampunk festival here in Lincoln and this is one of the photographs, more will follow friday if you're interested.
They were such a lovely couple.

So that's me done for today.

Thanks for stopping by and hope you will pop over and join in the visits around the other desks.

I'm off now to see what everyone else is up to.
Have a great woyww
and
happy crafting,

Welcome to all my new followers, hope you enjoy the journey.

I am here today to show you a card made with these Masterboards:

Remember these which have become the background for each of the Thrinchies and yes I'm still planning to complete this challenge.

You can see more of the earlier ones here: and here:

  And today:

No. 9 Happiness

No. 8 Vintage

All now mounted in the Accordion book.

Still have quite a few to go though.

Any comments are much appreciated.

Many thanks for stopping by and happy crafting,

Friday Fun Day with Smiles.

Welcome to all my new followers, hope you enjoy the journey.

Angela here again to show you what I've been up to this week.

A little bit of gardening, mostly just trying to tidy up all that dry grass and trim the plants to help them cope with the dry weather.

The grapes look good this year but can't imagine they will ripen enough to be eaten.

I saw this in the park and though it's difficult to see from the photograph I can tell you it was big!

It looks like a real fairy toad stool.

Moving on from there I thought you might like to see how Daisy is getting on.

It's play time here at the moment.
You bite me and then I can bite you back!

And when I've had enough of that we'll have a little nap Lol!
Of course Daisy will need somewhere to rest her tiny toes.

Now what is she looking at?

Stan is sleeping he's dog tired!

And as he will not wake up I shall have a nap but I'm keeping one eye open at the ready.

And a couple of funnies to finish.

And several months of madness!

This is what happens when your beard is too long Lol!

Who couldn't love a face like this!
He's just working out what mischief he will get up to next!

Just pleased my two can't play any instruments.

Have a great weekend everyone and
 thanks for stopping by.

And if you would like some more smiles you just need to pop over to see what our other friends have been doing this week at Annie's for
"This Week's Smiles" and you can also share your  smiles too.

WOYWW - 690 - Whatt's On your Workdesk Wednesday.

Hi all been playing with some new AALL and Create stamps though I've not really got very far with it.

I wonder how many of you remember this ink. I've had them for years but they are still Big and Juicy!

I'm trying it out on card that I coloured earlier and plain white card too. You never know I might actually make them into something!

This is the stamp.

I did get round to making two more Thrinchies, Feathers and Poppies and thought you might like to see those.

So that's me done for today.

Thanks for stopping by and hope you will pop over and join in the visits around the other desks.

I'm off now to see what everyone else is up to.
Have a great woyww
and
happy crafting,

Masterboard Monday.

Welcome to all my new followers, hope you enjoy the journey.

I am here today to show you some more Thrinchies made with these Masterboards:

These were made with AALL and Create stencils and Oxide inks.

You may remember the earlier Thrinchies from last week which you can see here:

This week I've completed the next two.

No. 6 Feathers.
I've overlaid this with some stamped transparent tracing paper. I love the way the design shows through from below. I tore it and the curled the edges before attaching it before adding the cord and feathers.

No. 7 Poppies.
This just shows how  a large stamp can still be used on a small area. I added the snall tag and then overlaid the flower head for extra depth.

I still have some way to go but hoping to complete them all by the end of September...finger crossed!

I would love to hear your comments.

Many thanks for stopping by and happy crafting,

Friday Fun Day with Smiles.

Welcome to all my new followers, hope you enjoy the journey.

Angela here again to show you what I've been up to this week.

I think the fish have the best place at the moment, wouldn't mind joining them.

The waterlilies are looking lovely and doing really well.

The fish are doing okay too.

This is potted so I've carried on watering it and it's doing really well which surprised me as I kept it in the greenhouse throughout the winter.

Despite the dry weather the fruit is doing well too but we could do with some rain to fatten them up a bit.

The pears on the other hand are massive which has surprised me as they have never been this good before.

Looking forward to picking them.

Stan is relaxing while he has the chance as Daisy is resting but it wont be for long I'm sure.

There you are she's awake!

Look at that face she is growing so fast too.

Not a very nice post box but it has a lovely knitted hat so thought you might like to see this.

As you can imagine my time has been pretty well taken up by Daisy and sorting stuff for my mum too but I have managed some crafting which you could find earlier in the week. Been painting the resin piece that I made recently.

So I'll finish with some Smiles.

This is someone's impression of a Schnauzer.
Love him/her.

Love him/her.

So what do you think?

Was the "Tramp" actually a Schnauzer!

He certainly looks as though he had some Schnauzer in him!

Maybe he's not sure Lol!

Have a great weekend everyone and
 thanks for stopping by.

And if you would like some more smiles you just need to pop over to see what our other friends have been doing this week at Annie's for
"This Week's Smiles" and you can also share your  smiles too.

WOYWW - 689 - What's On your Workdesk Wednesday.

And my desk today!

I'm working on the next set of Thrinchies for the AALL and Create Challenge.

I have posted the first five finished here: if you would like to see them.

New die and stencils, not used them yet but they are looking good.

This is the die which creates a flip card, will show you soon how that turns out.

Other than that things are about the same at this side.

I have been working on the Steampunk Resin piece and I know lots of you would like to see it so this is where I am so far.

I'm not sure about the Octopus parts but okay with the rest.

It was fun to make I have to say.

This is a bit of guess work using acrylic paint and wax so we'll just have to see how it goes but any comments or ideas would be greatly appreciated.

So that's me done for today.

Thanks for stopping by and hope you will pop over and join in the visits around the other desks.

I'm off now to see what everyone else is up to.
Have a great woyww
and
happy crafting,
