WOYWW - 704 - What's On Your Workdesk Wednesday.

Welcome to all my new followers, hope you enjoy the journey.

Hi Workdesk friends.
We are here for another Wednesday at the Workdesk and here is:
"What's on my Workdesk this Wednesday".

If you don't know what this is all about then please visit the
Stamping Ground, our host Julia will explain.

So here is my desk for today!

Yes I'm back in the cabin.
I've been working with resin again, it's a good rest from the C. Cards.

The little guy sitting on the top of the mould is a baby dragon. The other moulds are in the middle of being casted.
You can just see some moulds in the background that are coasters and another baby dragon, it is casted in two parts and then joined together when set.
On the left is a jar of small shells that I'm using in the moulds at the front.

I've been making some ring holders for Christmas presents with shells and jelly fish. This is one of the smaller ones.

Here is a collection of some of the items used in the moulding. Shells, Glitter, sand and artificial seaweed.

I remembered when I was in the cabin that I said I would get out my collection of Clarity stamps to show Sarah (at Sarah's Craft Shed) so here they are. Too many stamps that have been hidden away for far too long!

Yes there are two big boxes full.

So that's me done for today.

Thanks for stopping by and hope you will pop over and join in the visits around the other desks.

I'm off now to see what everyone else is up to.
Have a great woyww
and
happy crafting,

Masterboard Monday Use it or Lose it.

Welcome to all my new followers, hope you enjoy the journey.

I am here today to show you a card made with these practice pieces:

If you were around a couple of weeks ago on a Wednesday you will have already seen these.

I was playing with some colours including the new Tim Holtz Lumbetrjack Plaid. Gorgeous red.
After applying the ink to the craft mat I sprayed them with water and just covered the ink with an A3 sheet of card without moving it too much keeping the individual colours clean then removed the card and sprayed the remaining ink with water again .......

then took an A4 sheet of card and pulled of the remaining inks.
Now we can't just waste these lovely sheets of card so they had to be used as backgrounds for some Christmas cards.

I do like to batch make Christmasd cards though it's not something I would usually do.

I've used lots of die cut snowflakes left over from last year and some white card and sentiment stamps.

I stamped sentiments on the white card and then embossed them with a snowflake embossing folder. Rubbed over this with a lightly covered blending tool and layered everything to create these finished cards.

Hope you like them.
You can get a lot of cards from these two sheets of card so great for Christmas batch making.

I would love to hear your comments.

Many thanks for stopping by and happy crafting,

Friday Fun Day with Smiles

Welcome to all my new followers, hope you enjoy the journey.

Angela here again to show you what I've been up to this week.
Pretty much as usual, visiting mum and Christmas card making. We still have some gardening to do but it's not really been gardening weather so it might have to wait though we have got more done this year than we managed last year.

But this little beauty will brighten up any dull day for sure.

You have to love this Orchid it's so beautiful.
It's a Dendrobium and one of my favourites with these beautiful coloured flowers. Just what you need to brighten things up at this time of the year.

This was the view from our conservatory window the other day.

The builders are starting to tidy up the gardens of the new houses.

The weather has been up and down this week but Daisy and Stan have their waterproof coats on.

And when you get home it's time for a fleecy jacket and a good rest with your best friend.

Look closely what can you see!

More Toadstools.

It seems to have been a good year for these lovely plants.

And of course we need a few Schnauzer smiles to finish.

This looks familiar!

This sounds familiar too!
Have a great weekend everyone and
 thanks for stopping by.

And if you would like some more smiles you just need to pop over to see what our other friends have been doing this week at Annie's for
"This Week's Smiles" and you can also share your  smiles too.

WOYWW - 703 - What's On Your Workdesk Wednesday.

Welcome to all my new followers, hope you enjoy the journey.

Hi Workdesk friends.
We are here for another Wednesday at the Workdesk and here is:
"What's on my Workdesk this Wednesday".

If you don't know what this is all about then please visit the

So here is my desk for today!

Christmas card making.
You may remember the start of these from last week.

They then moved on to the next stage here:

Colouring, shading and Stickles.

I stamped the Robins on some watercolour paper, coloured them and then fussy cut them before attaching to the background piece then added the Stickles Glitter glue.

And now they are completed and just waiting to be attached to a card blank.

And this is where I'm up to this week.
Tracy Evans Robin, Tim Holtz dies and pencils then finished with Stickles Glitter glue and white paint splatters.
Think that's about it really, the rest of the desk has hardly changed.

So that's me done for today.

Thanks for stopping by and hope you will pop over and join in the visits around the other desks.

I'm off now to see what everyone else is up to.
Have a great woyww

happy crafting,

Masterboard Monday

Welcome to all my new followers, hope you enjoy the journey.

I am here today to show you the final part of the accordion book made with this Masterboard and lots of Tracy Evan's stamps:

I'm sure it wont be the last time you see these stencils as they make great backgrounds.

After you see this today that's it all finished and I can get on with showing you the Christmas cards thank goodness.

But I have to say I have enjoyed putting this together.
It's been a great way to use more of the stamps and play with different techniques.

This is one large Accordion book for sure!
If you missed anything or you would like to see all of these together, you can find them on the Pages at the top of my blog here in Challenges:

I would love to hear your comments.

Many thanks for stopping by and happy crafting,

Friday Fun Day with Smiles

Welcome to all my new followers, hope you enjoy the journey.

Angela here again to show you what I've been up to this week which doesn't seem to be a lot really unless you count cleaning the pond filters out, doing mum's shopping, cleaning and casrd making of course but I hope you enjoy what I have here to show you.

No further steps as yet for Daisy, she's brought little bear for encouragement but he seems to have fallen at the start!
She's really looking like a little lady now rather than a puppy, I think her legs have grown. Her tail is out of focus as it keeps wagging! Hee! Hee!

I am beginning to think this is the Dogs Home.....no I always knew it was Lol!
You couldn't be much more comfy than that!
I think Daisy is smiling in her sleep.

Good job Stan is such a tolerant dog, he has plenty to put up with.

Look closely, can you see it.

There have only been a few of these in the park each year and this is their favourite spot by the Silver Birch trees.

Still haven't seen any fairies though!

We had to go a different way to the park this week as they were digging the path up and we saw this. I know that Halloween has been and gone but it just looked so pretty that I had to photograph it.

And of course a few doggy thoughts to finish.

What could be better.

Have a great weekend everyone and
 thanks for stopping by.

And if you would like some more smiles you just need to pop over to see what our other friends have been doing this week at Annie's for

We are here for another Wednesday at the Workdesk and here is:
"What's on my Workdesk this Wednesday".

If you don't know what this is all about then please visit the

Stamping Ground, our host Julia will explain.

So here is my desk for today!

Working on Christmas cards mostly at the moment.

But also played with some new inks but you will have to wait to see what this ends up as.
The red is the new Lumberjack Plaid and it's lush, very different from the earlier reds Tim brought out.

This is just the mop up piece but waste not want not, sure it will come in useful.

Tracy Evans stamps are going on to the C, cards but these have away to go yet.

And the exploding box! Well you can see for yourself.

So that's me done for today.

Thanks for stopping by and hope you will pop over and join in the visits around the other desks.

I'm off now to see what everyone else is up to.
