WOYWW - 704 - What's On Your Workdesk Wednesday.

Welcome to all my new followers, hope you enjoy the journey.

Hi Workdesk friends.
We are here for another Wednesday at the Workdesk and here is:
"What's on my Workdesk this Wednesday".

If you don't know what this is all about then please visit the
Stamping Ground, our host Julia will explain.

So here is my desk for today!

Yes I'm back in the cabin.
I've been working with resin again, it's a good rest from the C. Cards.

The little guy sitting on the top of the mould is a baby dragon. The other moulds are in the middle of being casted.
You can just see some moulds in the background that are coasters and another baby dragon, it is casted in two parts and then joined together when set.
On the left is a jar of small shells that I'm using in the moulds at the front.

I've been making some ring holders for Christmas presents with shells and jelly fish. This is one of the smaller ones.

Here is a collection of some of the items used in the moulding. Shells, Glitter, sand and artificial seaweed.

I remembered when I was in the cabin that I said I would get out my collection of Clarity stamps to show Sarah (at Sarah's Craft Shed) so here they are. Too many stamps that have been hidden away for far too long!

Yes there are two big boxes full.

So that's me done for today.

Thanks for stopping by and hope you will pop over and join in the visits around the other desks.

I'm off now to see what everyone else is up to.
Have a great woyww
and
happy crafting,

Angela x

Love your ring holder, and resin has fascinated me for a longtime but I just don't have the time, space or energy to devote to it at the mo. That is a lot of clarity stamps!! I confess I took most of mine off those mounts a few years ago as I found them so irritating to store. Haven't used any of them for a while though!! Thanks for the earlier visit, Have a good week, love n hugs Cindyxx #14

Angela that ring holder is fantastic. I wished I could see it much larger and I ended up with a kind of grey page and then rummaging about I found it - yes, all the little shells at the base, those shells are beautiful too - it is fabulous!. I had no idea there was all that involved in casting it must be fascinating when you get into it. I love your reveals and now have the story leading up to them.
Well impressed.

Wonderful projects, Angela! I love resin too, but mine has probably gone off by now - I haven't touched it in more than two years! What puts me off is trying to keep it safe from Oreo / dust, etc, but I guess your cabin is the perfect place for you - just shut the door and leave it to set - although I would have thought it cures rather slowly in this cold weather - unless you have the heating on, of course. Would love to try batiking! I've got some dyes for tie-dyeing, but I think I'll wait until spring now. Something to look forwards to! Enjoy your December! xx zsuzsa

Another manically busy day for me and tomorrow will be no better. I think the word has gone out that I like to be kept busy :-)
I love the look of your resin makes....esp the baby dragon of course.

You are always doing such interesting things! Dennis saw me looking at a resin kit in The Range and asked what it was. I told him I wanted to have a go so he bought it me for Christmas. 🤗. Indigo Blu had 25% of their resin set, but I left it too late to order. So many offers coming through by email! Not that I have indulged! Happy WOYWW. Angela #7

What a great idea for Christmas presents Angela. Thanks for showing off the Clarity stamps - I have demounted all my older ones and taken the ultra sticky backs off - they still stick to mounts and are a lot easier to store. Looks like you have a couple that I don't! xx Stay safe and Happy WOYWW. Sarah #2

I hope it's not too cold in your cabin! the resin pieces look great, I've never used it. I have a load of Clarity stamps too (think they're hiding in the "dining room" (big joke, it's full of books and old craft items I don't use....) Have a good week Helen #1

What a unique idea your ring holder is. I love the thought of using up all the little bits and bobs that we hoard. A great gift idea. x x Jo

Thanks for the tip with the candle wax, Angela! Definitely on my list for when it gets warmer! I've just seen on your side bar that Masie passed away back in the summer - so sorry to hear that! What a heart warming cartoon with the dogs over the rainbow xx

Resin making has become very popular here in spain. Like you I found loads of clarity stamps when packing up some never used! Also lots of others that people gave me when they returned ot live in UK. Such a shame but they will be coming with me when I move. Ani

Great to see so much action going on on your desk... mine's up and down at the moment. (It's not so much where you've been over at Words and Pictures as where have I been?! - well, Instagram mostly, I'm afraid... amidst all the to-do lists, it's just quicker than writing a blogpost!). Hope all is well with you.

So many fascinating projects, Angela. I've not worked with resin and it looks like a ton of fun (maybe even more than the Christmas cards :D). Looking forward to seeing these pieces closer up, as I sure love your ring holders!!

Oooh err, lovely to see the cabin desk being well and truly used…lovely to have the space for several things at once isn’t it. Fab presents, those coasters look amazing! The ring holder is clever, love the idea that you can personalise each gift with Knick knacks that are characteristically personal. The beach theme in that ring holder is gorgeous. Super impressed by your Clarity collection, I wonder if now you’ve dug hem out, perhaps you’ll be inspired?! You’re so busy, I’m sure you can fit in something else!!

Hi Angela,
My daughter loves resin, but I daren't get involved in another craft lol.
I have a huge box of Clarity stamps, some of them I was lucky enough to be given when I was on the DT several years ago. I don't keep mine on the mounts because they just take up far too much space, but then that makes my collection of them even bigger I guess..........and like yours not used in a while.
I've got a DT box from Creative Expressions arriving tomorrow, so Clarity won't get used anytime soon I'm afraid.
Lovely to see what you are working on.
Hugs Kimx

I'm interested to see your coasters. I've only just got into resin and it's quite addictive! I really should master just one medium but I always want to try something new!
