woyww - 908 - What's On Your Workdesk Wednesday.

Welcome to all my new followers, hope you enjoy the journey.

Hi Workdesk friends.
We are here for another Wednesday at the Workdesk and here is:
"What's on my Workdesk this Wednesday".

If you don't know what this is all about then please visit our host Julia and she will explain.

So here is my desk for today!

Still working on the 'One Sheet Cards' but thought you might like to see this weeks Masterboard Monday card.

I've been making birthday cards, no wonder the boxes on the left are piling up with stuff.

Clouds are so useful for all kinds of cards but this is a Christmas card and if you want the details you can find them here:

So that's me done for today.

Thanks for stopping by and hope you will pop over and visit the other desks.

I'm off now to see what everyone else is up to.

Have a great woyww

happy crafting,

So here is my desk for today!

I needed a change this week so thought I'd have a go at using up some 12" x 12" papers using a One Sheet Wonder that I found on the internet.

I love these papers, they are double sided which is also useful for this project.

I will show you the cards when I've made them.

But fear not I do have a card to show you from last week's project.

Two cards made from the masterboard.

So that's me done for today.

Thanks for stopping by and hope you will pop over and visit the other desks.

I'm off now to see what everyone else is up to.

I showed you the start of this last week...

made with old playing cards.

And this is how I finished it.

I scanned the original and then altered the colours using Picasa.

I have more details relating to this here if you're interested:

I'm afraid you will have to wait to see how I use them.

So that's me done for today.

Welcome to all my new followers, hope you enjoy the journey.

Hi Workdesk friends.
We are here for another Wednesday at the Workdesk and here is:
"What's on my Workdesk this Wednesday".

If you don't know what this is all about then please visit our host Julia and she will explain everything.

It is with much sadness that we are here today to remember one of our dear members and a lady who kept us all 'ticking over' for nearly three years by taking on the reins.

Sarah will be greatly missed.

Happy days.

She was always smiling.

The news has left us all shocked as it was very unexpected and I've found it difficult this week to spend much time at my desk but I have started a new Masterboard with the old playing cards you may remember from last week.

The desk looks almost tidy for me but there is the start of my new Masterboard.

I've taken the old playing cards and using the back of the cards arranged them at different angles on an A3 sheet of card with some smaller pieces to fill in the gaps.

Just got to get my head round how I will complete this.

So that's me done for today.

Thanks for stopping by and hope you will pop over and visit the other desks.

I'm off now to see what everyone else is up to.

Sorry! boring desk today as I'm busy trying to sort out the Cabin. I daren't let you in there as it's  a real mess right now.

The patterned Christmas paper is really old but hoping to use it soon.

I'm working on C. Cards using left-over card bits too and I'm sure you'll get to see some of those soon.

The Christmas ribbon is planned for a card as are the Christmas tree dies.

I found the little packs of playing cards when clearing out the cabin but I have a plan for those too.......hopefully and you will probably recognise the die tucked at the back as it's a Tim Holtz by Sizzix.

Sorry I've nothing very interesting to show you but that's how desks are sometimes.

So that's me done for today.

Thanks for stopping by and hope you will pop over and visit the other desks.

I'm off now to see what everyone else is up to.

Friday Fun Day with Smiles.

Welcome to all my new followers, hope you enjoy the journey.

Angela here again to show you what I've been up to this week.

The weather's been lovely this week, mostly sunny and just a little rain which we need. The evening......

have arrived with the most gorgeous clouds.

These colours are quite amazing.

Christmas card making has taken up some of my time this week but also lots of gardening.

It felt like a great garden when we moved in years ago but it is hard work to keep it looking tidy.

Last week we had a day out to Rufford Park (Ollerton, Nottingham)

We've been visiting this park since they opened it in the early 70's. We started visiting it as they used to have some brilliant art exhibitions.

There still is a sculpture garden with some interesting art work....

even art work you can sit on.

This guy has got to make you smile.

This is the memory garden.

There's always something interesting to see.

And after walking round the garden you have to stop for a coffee and a bun at the cafe.

There's lots more to see but they are for next week, don't want to wear you out.

Have a great weekend everyone and

 thanks for stopping by.

Leave me a comment and I'll pop over to see what you've been up to this week too.

Christmas cards again this week.

Thought you might like to see how I started these.

Just about to add some Stickles glitter glue and then they will be ready to be mounted onto the card blanks.

And that's me done for today.

Other than that my time has been spent gardening and Daisy and Alfie have been helping..... and if you believe that you will believe anything Lol!

So that's me done for today.

So here is my desk for today!

I'm busy at the moment getting some Christmas card projects ready for my friends to put together when they have their class with me.

There's a mixture of card and paper here, Dreamees, Funky Fossil, The Works and Dovecraft. As I'm just starting a new card design I've not yet decided what to use.

I know that some of you don't make Christmas cards quite so early but I like to get these ready in plenty of time just in case!

So that's me done for today, well not really as I've got to go back and prep. more cards Lol!

If you're interested I'll show you the finished cards when they're all complete.

Thanks for stopping by and hope you will pop over and visit the other desks.

Everything is a bit in turmoil on my desk today.

I'm still trying to sort out the new laptop and back to the old one today...wish me luck!

I'm sorting through a few papers to make a new masterboard.

Chosen a collection by Clarity stamps which should make Sarah happy.

Started by ripping them up and arranging them on a sheet of white card but don't worry I'll let you see how it ends up.

So that's me done for today.

Thanks for stopping by and hope you will pop over and visit the other desks.
