Friday Fun day with Smiles.

Welcome to all my new followers, hope you enjoy the journey.

Angela here again to show you what I've been up to this week.

I really don't have a lot to show you this week but we have been walking the dogs in the park and the workmen are starting to clear up now so it wont be long before they've finished.

The paths are nearly complete.

And the cabins are all gone, poor workmen that are left have no where to get their breaks now. Don't know how they are making their tea!

Thankfully some of the Bluebells have survived.

So that's it for today but no worry............

a few funnies to delight you!

Hope it's number 9 Lol!

Have a great weekend everyone and
 thanks for stopping by.

And if you would like some more smiles you just need to pop over to see what our other friends have been doing this week at Annie's for
"This Week's Smiles" and you can also share your  smiles too.

WOYWW - 621- What's On Your Workdesk Wednesday.

Welcome to all my new followers, hope you enjoy the journey.

Hi Workdesk friends.
Here we are for another Wednesday at the Workdesk.
I am here again to show you:

"What's on my Workdesk this Wednesday".

If you don't know what this is all about then please visit the

Stamping Ground, our host Julia will explain.

So here is my desk for today!

Now what do you think is going on here?

This was actually Sunday which took me nearly the whole day to sort and I was only looking for a paper stump! However, I could not find it and realised there was so much stuff that I should sort it all while there was a mess!

And this was where I ended up, not bad Ha!
And the desk as you can just about see is tidy! ready for action.

There is still plenty of stuff in here but at least I can actually find things now, though not the Paper Stump....typical!

So that's me done for today.

Thanks for stopping by and hope you will pop over and join in the visits around the other desks.

I'm off now to see what everyone else is up to.
Have a great woyww
and
happy crafting,

Masterboard Monday - Use it or Lose It.

Welcome to all my new followers, hope you enjoy the journey.

I am here today to show you a card made with this left-over Masterboard:

I'm still trying to empty this folder! and there are loads more just like it to come!

So this is the piece I took out.
I had plans but found myself limited for time so thought it might be a good idea to make some quick cards like the one below.

These are great for men but could equally be good for ladies too depending on the paper pattern you choose.

So I started by cutting the Masterboard to size using white and Kraft card blanks.

You then need to cut a section for the top and die cut the bottom edge.
I have embossed it and shaded the edges with Distress Oxide ink but you could leave it blank or even stamp on it.

I used some more of the left-over paper to create a die cut sentiment and attached a few enamel dots to complete the design.

So here you have two fairly quick cards for men.
Although I used some of my own Masterboard you could just as easily use printed papers too.

I would love to hear your comments.

Many thanks for stopping by and happy crafting,

Friday Fun Day with Smiles.

Welcome to all my new followers, hope you enjoy the journey.

Angela here again to show you what I've been up to this week.
I didn't think I would have much to show you as we've been busy sorting stuff for my mother but two of my friends decided it was time we went walking again so I took a few pics while we were out anyway here goes.

First the park

The path is on it's way now

and babies.

How sweet are they!

These are a few of the trees that they have cut down and they are big!

Squirrel watching us too.

This is the road towards mum's and the fields are getting very yellow.

Thursday was a special day walking with the girls.

As you enter the woods you see this.

It's a lovely way to show the entrance to the woods.

At first we wondered what this was but it looks as though it was set up for Halloween and hasn't been taken down.

And this guy was sat watching us and yes he is alive, a large Peacock and very handsome.

Now an unusual photograph which you don't see very often!
This was me last week.

And this is me this week, a slight change! Not sure I could have gone on much longer with all this hair!

The grey is showing through now Lol! but I am getting used to it.

Hope you enjoyed watching what I've been up to this week and wishing you a very happy weekend everyone and thanks for stopping by.

If you would like some more smiles you just need to pop over to see what our other friends have been doing this week at Annie's for

WOYWW - 620 - What's On Your Workdesk Wednesday.

Not very exciting today as I've just finished some cards using left-over Masterboard.
This is just one of them and the others can be seen here.

Never waste those left-overs.

Back to the desk you can see the new liquid watercolours by Pentart, moulding clay by Prima and Finnabair metalic micro beads. Oh and it looks as though the exploding box has filled up again!

This side is pretty much the same as usual just some large tags waiting for me to get round to using them.

This isn't actually on the desk today but thought you might like to see it.
Gorgeous leather bound dragon journal.

So that's me done for today.

Thanks for stopping by and hope you will pop over and join in the visits around the other desks.

I'm off now to see what everyone else is up to.
Have a great woyww
and
happy crafting,

Masterboard Monday Use it or Lose it!

Welcome to all my new followers, hope you enjoy the journey.

Yes I'm back this week with the Masterboards but using up the left-overs, they have to go!
So use it or loose it!

This was stamped with a very old but much loved Tim Holtz stamp. I have actually manged to find one of the original cards I made with this in.........would you believe !!!! 2016! so yes it's time to use this up I think.
If that's not enough there are others here.
But now for the new stuff.
These two card measure 6" x 6".

I started with a white card blank and a layer of green card and topped it with a piece of the white card stamped in black.
Before attaching this I blended green Distress ink around the edge of the card then layered a piece of the green stamped card down the center and attached more pieces of the white card which had been cut with a Tim Holtz die.
I completed the card with Stickles Glitter Glue on the central dragon and the sentiment is by Lisa Horton.

Just a small piece added inside the card and a sentiment to finish the design.

As I still had some left-over more cards had to be made.

The black dragonfly die was from my stash but not sure what make it was but it could be Sheena Douglas.
I applied one of the Craft Box Crystal Souffles to the dragonfly before attaching it to the card.
The sentiment is by Hampton Arts.

As there is still a few pieces of card left I felt some small cards might be a good idea and this one measures 4" x 4".
The sentiment here is by Concord and 9th.
I hope this gives you some ideas of how to use up those left-over pieces of card and paper but fear not I have lots more ideas to come, as you know since this piece arrived in 2016 there have been plenty more since!

I would love to hear your comments and many thanks for stopping by.

Happy crafting,

Friday Fun Day with Smiles.

Welcome to all my new followers, hope you enjoy the journey.
Angela here again to show you what I've been up to this week.

This was a bit of a surprise at the weekend.

Halestones and lots of them though they've gone now and the sun has been out this week.

Now the sun is out and the flowers are showing their faces.

I love these flowers I believe it's a Camellia.

The tulips are opening but we need to do some weeding too.

The Bonsai are starting to pud and some green is showing here too.

We covered the plumb tree and just as well as last year the cold weather made all the flowers drop so hoping that wont be a problem this year but we'll see.

The new strawberry plants are popping up too.

This definitely made me smile when I finished it. I know some of you may have already seen it.

And finally funnies obviously.

Have a great weekend everyone and
 thanks for stopping by.

And if you would like some more smiles you just need to pop over to see what our other friends have been doing this week at Annie's for
