WOYWW - 621- What's On Your Workdesk Wednesday.

Welcome to all my new followers, hope you enjoy the journey.

Hi Workdesk friends.
Here we are for another Wednesday at the Workdesk.
I am here again to show you:

"What's on my Workdesk this Wednesday".

If you don't know what this is all about then please visit the

Stamping Ground, our host Julia will explain.

So here is my desk for today!

Now what do you think is going on here?

This was actually Sunday which took me nearly the whole day to sort and I was only looking for a paper stump! However, I could not find it and realised there was so much stuff that I should sort it all while there was a mess!

And this was where I ended up, not bad Ha!
And the desk as you can just about see is tidy! ready for action.

There is still plenty of stuff in here but at least I can actually find things now, though not the Paper Stump....typical!

So that's me done for today.

Thanks for stopping by and hope you will pop over and join in the visits around the other desks.

I'm off now to see what everyone else is up to.
Have a great woyww
and
happy crafting,

Angela x

That is a seriously impressive tidy-up! But where oh where is that elusive stump, I wonder? It will be somewhere weird - I find things behind the radiator or under my desk or stuck to a curtain, more often than I care to say!Keep looking - no telling what you might unearth :)
Have a marvelous day!
ATC backs for the 12th to download on my blog :)

Good Morning Angela, yep cleaning and such going on here too but, I have no clue what a paper stump is. ( mind is blank should probably go make coffee) but, it does look a lot more organized for viewing it all in that drawer now.
Oh wait like a blending stump? from rolled paper?
( I have no clue where mine are because, I never use them so, its not On the table in a line of sight other wise I'd tell you so you had a new place to continue searching lol ) ~Stacy #24

Oh Angela, that did make me laugh! Just the sort of thing I would do - go looking for something, spend a day sorting and STILL not find the original object! Stay safe and keep smiling, Lisa-Jane #5

Oh Angela, I have a drawer just like that in my craft table that needs one heck of a sorting out - the number of times it gets jammed with things being shoved in when they don't really fit - I'm feeling shamed into tackling it now!
Hope you have a good week,

Oh the big sort. It always necessary when something goes missing. It seems to be what I've been doing in every room for 2 months. I have a small walk way into 3 rooms. 1 more week and the bathroom should be DONE. Have a lovely week and good luck finding what you need ! #24

Well Angela, I love the before and after pictures but i do hope you do not take as long to find that paper stump as I have to find what I lost. In fact it is so long ago I can barely remember what I started looking for. Oh, that's it - Mica tiles - and guess what? The project is long gone now so I don't need them.

I do love a good tidy up - you can see what you have, see what you need to buy (lol) and what to throw/recycle, it’s a win win situation! Did you ever find the paper stump though?

It is amazing how long it takes to have a sort out, but well done for doing it! I am finding getting stuff to take with me in the caravan is taking too long. I am defer to take less this year! Happy WOYWW Angela #16

Oh well done Angela, paper stump or no, you were very productive! a an I never even thought about your desk having a draw, let alone such a big ‘un! I also nearly had a camel when I thought the TH work surface mat thingy was about an inch thick....then I enlarged the photo - gotta love a balanced work surface! I appreciate your comment about not having shown many cards for a while: I make so many I think they’re all a it same and don’t think about showing them. I’ll try harder, but please say when I get boring!!

Congratulations on getting things sorted! I keep threatening to do the same each time I spend an hour looking for something!

I do miss making the round on WOYWW, but life has taken a sharp turn that is truly testing my time management skills!

Anyway good job! Maybe your paper stump is hanging out with the two stamps I lost last week!

Hugz,
Chana

Lol! Funny post, Angela! How often it happens that you are looking for something and in the process find something else (in this case, a mess) and your whole day takes a different direction. I hope your paper stump turns up in the end. Mine are in a pencil box with other drawing stuff (Shoshi looks smug for being so organised).

Thank you for your visit - so glad you enjoyed the cat training, and the growing kitty blanket! I attached another lot of squares last night and it's now at the half-way mark!

Happy belated WOYWW,

Hmmmmmmm, now where did that stump go??!!! This made me laugh, Angela - that's about the only time I do any 'tidying' in the studio is when I can't find something. And naturally, it does no good at all. Somehow the thing you're looking for will turn up some months later, and much past the point. :D

That's impressive tidying up. I was looking for a paper stump this week too and couldn't find it for an online drawing tutorial. The tutor was recommending a rolled up bit of card anyway and I tend to use cotton buds. I expect we'll find them and put them somewhere really safe for next time...so safe we forget!

HI Angela, wow! that's a very impressive before and after! Found myself scanning your desk picture hoping I could spot the paper stump for you - of course the sure way to find it is to buy a new one, then the old one is sure to turn up! Have a great BH weekend. Annie C #21
