Friday Fun Day with Smiles.

Welcome to all my new followers, hope you enjoy the journey.

Angela here again to show you what I've been up to this week.

My kitty friend is back again, she is very friendly and

can't wait to come down and say hello.

My two on the other hand prefer to rest even if it means getting in the way Lol!

Gosh! it's a dog's life.

Saturday I went to the Craft club.

It looks quiet today but that was just as everyone was arriving.

My desk here looks no better than the one at home!

Sunday I went to the Craft Show.

Some of you may know this lady Jo Channon.

My dear friend Sandra having fun with some Powertex. It's got me thinking I should go back to this again. Another almost forgotten technique.

I'm loving this Powertex sample.

Lynette at Pretty Gets Gritty.

A little trip round the garden.

We had a lovely day yesterday when I took these photos.

I remember planting this but no idea what it is.

And a few funnies to finish.

You may have guessed by now who my favourite friends are!

Have a great weekend everyone and
 thanks for stopping by.

And if you would like some more smiles you just need to pop over to see what our other friends have been doing this week at Annie's for
"This Week's Smiles" and you can also share your  smiles too.

WOYWW - 778 - What's On Your Workdesk Wednesday.

Welcome to all my new followers, hope you enjoy the journey.

Hi Workdesk friends.
We are here for another Wednesday at the Workdesk and here is:
"What's on my Workdesk this Wednesday".

If you don't know what this is all about then please visit the
Stamping Ground, our host Julia will explain.

So here is my desk for today!

As I am making the ATCs on my usual desk I've brought you into the cabin again where I'm working on another MDF project.

I have just finished constructing the box.

You may remember seeing this project before.

I showed you all this when it arrived but have only just got round to starting it.

I have painted the box with black Gesso and cut out the wallpaper to go inside. Hinges and colour will be next.
Hope to at least get that part completed for next week.

So that's me done for today.

Thanks for stopping by and hope you will pop over and join in the visits around the other desks.

I'm off now to see what everyone else is up to.
Have a great woyww
and
happy crafting,

So here is my desk for today!

I've been in the cabin this week working on some MDF projects.

This one is in a box as I've been spraying it.
There are more details if you're interested here:

Cleaning some stones and pebbles, you'll see what happens to those when I get on with the project.

I thought you might like this.
I don't do much sewing now but these are large fabric clouds with stuffing that I made some time ago. The thing at the top of the clouds is a big red heart with wings.

And just in case anyone thinks they are welcome when I'm working, my sister-in-law bought me this!

So that's me done for today.

Thanks for stopping by and hope you will pop over and join in the visits around the other desks.

I'm off now to see what everyone else is up to.

Masterboard Monday but not Today!

Welcome to all my new followers, hope you enjoy the journey.

I am here today to show you an MDF project that I've been working on, another kit by the Creative Craft Academy (now 'Mixed Media Classes'):

A small box.

A beautiful stencil.

Covered in white Gesso and added a few embellishments then started spraying with green ink.

It's always a good idea to protect your work surface when using spray inks and a box like this is ideal.

Nearly finished.

Been adding some foil too and a few extra brass embellishments.

All finished.

And finally.....

covered the inside with paper from the packaging.

So that's your lot for now.

I would love to hear your comments.

Many thanks for stopping by and happy crafting,

Finished this glorious box, an old project from Anna Hersom, other than that the desk is quite tidy.

Lots of MDF, resin and ephemera.

The sides are covered in Rice paper.

I've painted the inside too and really love this colour of paint.

This was a pleasure to work on.
Hope you like it too.

So that's me done for today.

Thanks for stopping by and hope you will pop over and join in the visits around the other desks.

WOYWW - 748 - What's On Your Workdesk Wednesday.

Welcome to all my new followers, hope you enjoy the journey.

Hi Workdesk friends.

"What's on my Workdesk this Wednesday".

Stamping Ground, our host Julia will explain.

So here is my desk for today!

This is likely to be the last time you see this MDF project, hoping it's finished now.

Most of the added colour has been added with waxes.

I love the moulded Octopus Port hole and will have to find some where to add more of these.

I've added some pearls on the top with the Octopus.

There are several makes of moulds here, Prima is the main make used but there are some that I bought on Amazon too.

These are not projects that you can rush and to be honest I don't always know for sure at the beginning how these projects will end up.

I added some bubbles in the form of clear plastic water droplets. Not sure yet what will go inside.

So that's me done for today and hopefully there will be something new for you to see next week.

Oh and look at this! all tidy and ready for a new project.
Mary Anne asked what that might be but not sure yet as I need to start some Christmas cards for a class but I'm sure there will be more going on here soon.

Thanks for stopping by and hope you will pop over and join in the visits around the other desks.

I'm off now to see what everyone else is up to.

I've moved on a bit since you were here last week, adding more colour.

The netting is standing out more now and the octopus too.

I'm starting to like it more now.

Not much to say really but I'm sure you would sooner jusy look at the project so I'll leave you to it.

Been working on the inside too.

And a better view of the octopus.
I am really pleased with that mould, got it from Amazon.

Hoping to have it finished next week as I have other things I want to get on with including more MDF projects.

So that's me done for today.

Thanks for stopping by and hope you will pop over and join in the visits around the other desks.
