Friday Fun Day with Smiles.

Welcome to all my new followers, hope you enjoy the journey.

Angela here again to show you what I've been up to this week.

Well it has been Christmas which you all know and we were asked over to my friend's house for Christmas day which was lovely and just what we needed.

We have walked in the park as usual and found this which I think is so sweet.

This lady lived in the care home that faces the park.
I'm sure you will have worked out how old she was when she died.

This was in the park too due to the trees that had fallen during the winds recently.

My friend who lives in France sent me this, he's one big snow man.

And here is Alfred having a look at the Poinsettia, he is very nosy.
I have tried to keep him away from it as they are not good if eaten but thank goodness he just seems to want to sniff at it.

Other than that I've spent most days working on the Baby journals and not much time to go so need to get my finger out.

Just a bit further on and hope you don't all get fed up of the teasers. I will show all when it's finished.

Hope your Christmas went well and Santa brought you something nice.

Have a great weekend everyone and
 thanks for stopping by.

And if you would like some more smiles you just need to pop over to see what our other friends have been doing this week at Annie's for
"This Week's Smiles" and you can also share your  smiles too.

Friday Fun Day with Smiles.

Welcome to all my new followers, hope you enjoy the journey.

Angela here again to show you what I've been up to this week.

Last weekend we had a trip to the Garden centre at Brigg, love it especially at this time of the year.....

These guys are so funny.

And it doesn't stop there.

So pretty.

Back to this week and
Tuesday morning was quite a surprise.

This is the front of the house.

And this is the back.

It's cold to say the least.

Just as well we got most of the gardening sorted.

Someone was enjoying the snow, Alfie loved it though Daisy decided she wasn't keen.

It has remained cold and not all the snow has cleared which Alfie is quite happy about.

A few smiles to finish off too.

Have a great weekend everyone and
 thanks for stopping by.

Friday Fun Day with Smiles.

Welcome to all my new followers, hope you enjoy the journey.

Angela here again to show you what I've been up to this week.

Pleased to say we were able to get to see my mother without having to drive around Lincolnshire, Nottinghamshire and South Yorkshire as the bridge at Dunham is open again.
Still lots of water in the fields but at least the road is clear.

These guys have been out early most mornings recently, guess they are practicing for something but wish they would fly somewhere else. It's nice to see them but they do make a lot of noise.

However they were not out on Tuesday morning.

It was very cold with a light covering of snow when we got up.

By the time I was dressed it started to snow a little more. This is at the back of the house.

And this is the front.

Not enough to stop us walking the dogs.
But it looks cold and it was.

I didn't take this photo but it's the same day and thought you might like it.
This is Lincoln Cathedral.
The photo was taken from the Hotel across the road from the Cathedral.

Not too much snow and it was gone by late afternoon so we went to Downtown near Grantham. I so love a bit of shopping and of course I found something nice to buy.

Crafting too this week with some collage papers.

If you were around on Wednesday you may have already seen this, more to follow soon.

Can't think of much else so I'm going to leave you with some dog funnies.

If you have dogs, or cats for that matter you will be used to this.

You cannot have a dog and expect to keep any space for yourself!

Still it shows they love you.

Have a great weekend everyone and
 thanks for stopping by.

Friday Fun with Smiles.

Welcome to all my new followers, hope you enjoy the journey.

Angela here again to show you what I've been up to this week.

Actually a few more photos from the club day last week.

Card making.

And playing with the foiling machines, love them.

And this was me working on my C. Cards.

Not sure what was going on here!

Pretty gifts that one of the ladies had made.

Sunday we woke up to this.....

If it looks dark that's because it was...
Front of the house.....

And cold too. This is looking down the garden from the back bedroom.

But the place looked lovely with these frozen cobwebs that nseemed to be everywhere.

They just look mamazing.

Great start for a design maybe.

This Monday we went to see mum and they had decorated the care home ready for Christmas.

They always come up with something to make you smile.

Love it.

My friend sent me this photo. This was set up in the village where she lives and they had gathered together to sing carols.

Now I don't have any funnies for you today but I do have this photo of Alfie and Daisy.
How sweet is that? I think they like each other!

Have a great weekend everyone and
 thanks for stopping by.

Friday Fun Day with Smiles.

Welcome to all my new followers, hope you enjoy the journey.
Angela here again to show you what I've been up to this week.
I thought it would be nice to post some of the photographs I took last week when the weather changed.
This was the start of the week.
You can still see the pond at this stage.

Just look at the size of those flakes!
You can see here how much had arrived overnight.

We did have a moment of sun which was quite nice. This did make me smile as I think the garden looks lovely covered in snow with the sun out.

By the middle of the week the only bit of the pond you could see was by the fountain.
I always leave it running so that oxygen can get into the pond and of course the filters can work. Some people prefer to shut them off in the winter to keep the water temperature stable but you can't have both and this has always worked for me and the fish obviously!

It's snowing again here!

We did manage to take the dogs for their walk as the park is quite close but as you can see the snow made it quite difficult to see very much. I was hiding under a tree to take this photograph.

This is quite a nice photograph.

The ducks managed to find the only bit of water still available.

Now that the snow is melting our little friends are back and it looks like they have decided that they quite like it here so maybe we'll see some little ones this year.

Have a great weekend everyone and
 thanks for stopping by.
