WOYWW # 488 - What's On Your Workdesk Wednesday.

Welcome to all my new followers, hope you enjoy the journey.

Hi Workdesk friends.
Here we are for another Wednesday at the Workdesk.
I am here again to show you:

"What's on my Workdesk this Wednesday".

If you don't know what this is all about then please visit the

Stamping Ground, our host Julia will explain.

So here is my desk for today!

I have set the desk so that you could see some of the new stash I bought at Newark on Sunday.
Just guessed you might like to see it.

There were some great offers so obviously you have to make the most of it.

Some of you may well have seen this card earlier in the week as it was part of my Masterboard Monday post which is here if you're interested.

These dies are so nice and reduced in price too which makes them even better.

I'm still visiting mum and dad most days but hope to get round again as I managed last week to visit you all.
They have moved her to a convalescent home which unfortunately is even further away so the travelling takes longer but she is improving and that's the main thing.
My only fear Lol! is that she is enjoying it too much being looked after and may not want to go home. Apparently on Sunday they had an Elvis impersonator singing, maybe I should move in there too!

So that's me done for today.

Thanks for stopping by and hope you will pop over and join in the visits around the other desks.

I'm off now to see what everyone else is up to as soon as I get back tonight.
Have a great woyww
and
happy crafting,

Angela x

It's all a strain, but it's what we have to do. Loved your other posts and I like your new finds. Love seeing your creations. Enjoy that time with your parents.

It's good to hear your mum is making a good recovery and enjoying her convalesence. There's nowhere quite like home so I'm sure she will still want to go home.
I love your new stash and love the card you made using the masterboard.

Morning Angela. You found some great stamps and dies there at the show - well done. I'm glad your mum is improving - and understand how lovely it must be for her to be pampered and looked after - can't quite see you moving in yet though - even with an Elvis impersonator!
Take care. God bless.

Lovely new stash and great dies to play with, Angela! I'm glad your mum is feeling better and is obviously enjoying being in the home. I wish the same had been the case with my mum but she hated it and wouldn't join in with anything... Thank you for your visit and I'm glad you like my boxes. Lily and Ruby are so photogenic and I keep finding them in sweet positions together, sleeping cuddled up to keep each other warm!

Happy WOYWW,

Hi Angela! Sorry I didn't get back to you last week, but. . .here I am today! I love your Masterboard - such an awesome way to do backgrounds, and the card you made with it is delightful! Love it! Do you do a masterboard every Monday? All your new stash looks like so much fun - I will look forward to new projects in the future! I remember when my dad was convalescing in a home many years ago - he loved it! He made friends with the cleaning ladies, would go to the concerts, even when I was visiting, he would drag me down to hear the piano instead of just sitting and talking. He did want to go back home though, so hopefully will your Mom! Have a great week, Lindart #23

Sorry you are still having all that travelling to do but when it is your mum you do it don't you? Most folks only get one mum and she is precious.
Sorry I am so late in visiting but I have had a very mixed and busy week.
It's lovely sat here today seeing the sunlight dappling through the trees whilst I okay catch up. Hope you are having a nice day.
Hugs, Neet 9 xx
