Angela here again to show you what I've been up to this week.

The weather's been lovely this week, mostly sunny and just a little rain which we need. The evening......

have arrived with the most gorgeous clouds.

These colours are quite amazing.

Christmas card making has taken up some of my time this week but also lots of gardening.

It felt like a great garden when we moved in years ago but it is hard work to keep it looking tidy.

Last week we had a day out to Rufford Park (Ollerton, Nottingham)

We've been visiting this park since they opened it in the early 70's. We started visiting it as they used to have some brilliant art exhibitions.

There still is a sculpture garden with some interesting art work....

even art work you can sit on.

This guy has got to make you smile.

This is the memory garden.

There's always something interesting to see.

And after walking round the garden you have to stop for a coffee and a bun at the cafe.

There's lots more to see but they are for next week, don't want to wear you out.

Christmas cards again this week.

Just about to add some Stickles glitter glue and then they will be ready to be mounted onto the card blanks.

     Welcome to all my new followers, hope you enjoy the journey.

I need to get back to making some masterboards soon but there has been a lot going on here at the moment. I've been preparing a class for my friends which we do each year making Christmas cards, lots of gardening!, pond cleaning and cabin sorting.

But what I have been doing is making more Ai photos ready for next year's calendar and as the children are now back at school this seemed like the right one to make at the moment.

How cute are those faces.

Friday Fun Day with Smiles.

Angela here again to show you what I've been up to this week.

Lots more gardening going on here this week and here are our Ai helpers.

If you saw Daisy and Alfie on Friday last week helping with the gardening they looked like this......

Well......here they are again but looking a bit different due to Ai

These two can garden but it usually means digging the lawn up, eating bugs, weeds and of course chasing squirrels Lol! and then getting very dirty which they love!

Gardening here is quite a job as we have a big garden.

This week has been cutting the wisteria and cleaning the pond filters.

Now that is one big wisteria and despite the dry weather it's done really well. We cut it down like this every year and it still grows back.

Another day was the turn of the filter box.

This little guy just did not want to come out!

This one is an old style filter box and is open at the top so we get lots of frogs visiting but he needs to come out until the grids are replaced.

We also have a modern filter box too but that's been cleaned earlier this week.

This was hubby who finally got him out with this old flour sieve.

He's back in again now the grids are replaced.

The frogs are so funny because even when you get them out they will find a way to jump back in.

To be honest it's desk is no different from last week but.......

I did finish the felted slug that we made at the felting group last week.

Other than that my time has been spent gardening and Daisy and Alfie have been helping..... and if you believe that you will believe anything Lol!

So that's me done for today.

Make it on Monday.

     Welcome to all my new followers, hope you enjoy the journey.

I am here today to show you something a bit different than you normally see here on a Monday. 

I'm working on images for next years Calendar and have another Schnauzer Ai photograph.

Some of you may have seen some of these before if you visit my facebook page.

The weather has changed too and we're all going out with our umbrellas and raincoats and the dogs are set up and ready for the weather too.

And if the rain stops we'll be off for a little shopping trip too.

Hope that made you smile a little.

Other than that I'm busy working on Christmas card designs but you'll get to see some of these soon.

Friday Fun Day with Smiles.

    Welcome to all my new followers, hope you enjoy the journey.

Angela here again to show you what I've been up to this week.

Daisy and Alfie are helping with the gardening.

Alfie is chewing up the Wisteria and Daisy is having a sniff round just in case something interesting turns up.

The grapes are looking good though they are still a bit sharp to the taste. I'm adding them to my breakfast cereal, very tasty.

After the gardening is done for today we have two lazy dogs.

Hubby must have very tasty jeans.

Alfie decided he liked this towel.

He's giving me the "this is mine" look.

And is now using it as a cushion.

But he does like this spot too.

It faces the front door and the sun shines through the window straight at him.

It must be very comfy!

Been in the park too and found this Fungi, love the colours.

I'll finish off today with a few pics from the Steampunk festival.

I think that's enough for today.

I'm busy at the moment getting some Christmas card projects ready for my friends to put together when they have their class with me.

There's a mixture of card and paper here, Dreamees, Funky Fossil, The Works and Dovecraft. As I'm just starting a new card design I've not yet decided what to use.

I know that some of you don't make Christmas cards quite so early but I like to get these ready in plenty of time just in case!

So that's me done for today, well not really as I've got to go back and prep. more cards Lol!

Make it On Monday.

    Welcome to all my new followers, hope you enjoy the journey.

I am here today to show you a card that I made at the Craft Club last weekend:

I've been a bit busy the rest of the week getting some Christmas cards projects ready for the class I'll be doing with some friends so not really done much else but thought you might like this.

 As I didn't have anything available for the background it's torn papers mostly with a patterned paper for the ski. The other details are die cut and stamped images.

Friday Fun Day with Smiles

Angela here again to show you what I've been up to this week.

It's been another fun week here in Lincoln with the Steampunk Festival.

Thought you might like to see a few of these.

Happy people despite the rain.

It's so good to see so many happy faces.

There are lots more photos but I'll show you more next Friday or we'll be here all day Lol!

Other than that we have also been to the seaside. As the children are going back to school this week it was fairly quiet so we popped over to Anderby Creek.

Our trip was quiet but you can see the queue of traffic coming away from the coast.

This is Anderby Creek.

These guys have arrived since we were last here.

Seals are wellknown around this area.

I wonder if you know the difference between Seals and Sea Lions? 

These are Seals but how do I know this?

After walking along the beach we walked back by the path where there are a few houses.

We have not actually walked along here before and when I first saw these three I thought they were real people but.......

They were not. 

I Love them.

But I also love the patterns created by the sea.

That might be the start of some new art work soon.

I love days like this, there are a few people over in the distance and that's it.

It was lovely and warm too.
