Friday Fun Day with Smiles.

Welcome to all my new followers, hope you enjoy the journey.
Angela here again to show you what I've been up to this week well it's actually more holiday pics.

Chamois.
They are quite common in the Alps though not usually dressed like this.

More fruity dessert.

Our favourite bar for lunch.
If you're wondering why it's so quiet it's because everyone was sat outside in the sun!
Crazy weather!
Loads of snow, deep blue sky and lots of sun....heaven.

Same place but outside.

Afternoon tea on the balcony... well that's what I had somebody else had Gin and Tonic!

Balcony view.
Amazing!

I seem to be showing you more of the desserts but they were nice.

One of the menus just to tempt you.

Have a great weekend everyone and
 thanks for stopping by.

And if you would like some more smiles you just need to pop over to see what our other friends have been doing this week at Annie's for
"This Week's Smiles" and you can also share your  smiles too.

WOYWW #556 - What's On your Workdesk Wednesday.

Welcome to all my new followers, hope you enjoy the journey.

Hi Workdesk friends.
Here we are for another Wednesday at the Workdesk.
I am here again to show you:

"What's on my Workdesk this Wednesday".

If you don't know what this is all about then please visit the

Stamping Ground, our host Julia will explain.

So here is my desk for today!

I'm sorry it's a mess and there's nothing very exciting either!

On the left, sheets of card I've cut up from some boxes and on top of those a case containing brush pens and some Altenew stamps, dies to the back which I think have been there a while.

The can is spray starch for a project I have planned and in front of that is a piste map I brought back from the ski trip which I thought I might us on some journal pages and a little square book that I hope to turn into a scrap book.

In the middle of the desk are some magazines then more stamps to the right of those, baby wipes and the blue box contains lots of tools.

I hope by next week to have found time to clear this and make something with the Altenew flower stamps, I have a plan! which will also include another Masterboard so no surprise there....fingers crossed!

Oh just realised you may have noticed the spotty case at the front which holds some Altenew dies and stencils.

So that's me done for today.

Thanks for stopping by and hope you will pop over and join in the visits around the other desks.

I'm off now to see what everyone else is up to.
Have a great woyww
and
happy crafting,

Crafty Cardmakers Challenge - 249 Black and White.

Welcome to all my new followers, hope you enjoy the journey.
Hi! back again to tell you that it's time for another challenge over
at Crafty Cardmakers.

Glenda is hosting today and our challenge is Black and White.

As usual you can enter anything you fancy, it doesn't have to be cards, as long as it meets the challenge.

Hope you will join in.
And here is my project for the challenge:

If you like a quick card technique then this is for you.

I used a 6"x 6" card blank for this card.
Layer up some patterned paper with a black background and attach it to the card.

Take a piece of paper the same size as the first layer.

A little bit of simple folding, some patterned Washi tape and it's ready to put together.

I really needed to use up some old patterned papers and these were all black and white so great for this challenge.
I finished the card with some clear gems and more tape.

I hope you will pop over to see what the rest of the DT have been up to and maybe join in the challenge.
I look forward to seeing what you come up with too.
 Happy crafty card making.

Friday Fun Day with Smiles.

Welcome to all my new followers, hope you enjoy the journey.
Angela here again to show you what I've been up to this week.

I so love this lamp which I keep in the conservatory. At this time of the year it  tends to get more use.

You may be aware that we've just got back from skiing in France and this is a lovely little church we often pass and yes it's pink!

I seem to be starting at the end of the holiday rather than the beginning as this is the hotel we stayed at on the way back down from the skiing. I make no apologies for this photograph as I just love these French lamp shades.

Small room but cozy.

It was a bit dark when I took the photograph but this is the outside of the hotel. It is a converted farm and about five minutes from Grenoble airport so very useful.

The drive home was pleasant as the sun came out.

And finally these are some little friends in the garden searching for bugs.

And that's your lot for today.
More photos of the holiday next week.

Have a great weekend everyone and
 thanks for stopping by.

And if you would like some more smiles you just need to pop over to see what our other friends have been doing this week at Annie's for
"This Week's Smiles" and you can also share your  smiles too.

What's On Your Workdesk Wednesday -555

Welcome to all my new followers, hope you enjoy the journey.

Hi Workdesk friends.
Here we are for another Wednesday at the Workdesk.
I am here again to show you:

"What's on my Workdesk this Wednesday".

If you don't know what this is all about then please visit the

Stamping Ground, our host Julia will explain.

So here is my desk for today!

Well I'm back from my ski trip and the desk is a mess due mostly to new stuff and some old stuff that I need to use.

Some old Masterboards and to the right a set of old Dylusion stamps, got a plan for one of those combining them with the Masterboards but we'll see.

To the left, new ALTENEW stamps.

New Tim H. dies.

Some new edge dies.

This set was left out after Christmas.

Old stash to use up.

Old Paper Artsy set, not sure what I will be using these for though I had a reason for getting them out but not sure what it was!

I've tried to give you a better view of what's going on as I know my dear friend Shaz in Oz likes to get a good look. Hope this does the trick.

So that's me done for today, once again I am being forced to go out with friends but I will get round you all probably better than last week when I was slightly distracted.

Thanks for stopping by and hope you will pop over and join in the visits around the other desks.

Have a great woyww
and
happy crafting,

You may remember seeing me stamp these card blanks using ferns from the garden.
If you missed this you can find it here.

I've added some die cut ferns too and completed the design with a ribbon, splashes of white paint and a Woodware sentiment stamp.

I would love to hear your comments.

Many thanks for stopping by and happy crafting,

WOYWW # 554 - What's On Your Workdesk Wednesday.

I probably don't need to say much more as my friends will know what's going on here.

I stamped these Altenew flowers before we came away ready to colour but nothing has been done yet.

Watercolour pens are by docraft.

I have come prepared in case of bad weather but yes the magazine, journal and pens have remained closed so not much to see.
I could say that I'm sorry but to be honest I'm not Lol!
So that's me done for today.

Thanks for stopping by and hope you will pop over and join in the visits around the other desks.

I will be round to see what everyone else is up to it just might be a bit later than usual.
Have a great woyww

Crafty Cardmakers Challenge - 248: 'Anything Goes'.

Welcome to all my new followers, hope you enjoy the journey.
Hi! back again to tell you that it's time for another challenge over
at Crafty Cardmakers.

Lin is hosting today and our challenge is Anything Goes.

As usual you can enter anything you fancy, it doesn't have to be cards, as long as it meets the challenge.

Hope you will join in.
And here is my project for the challenge:

I'm using another Woodware stamp today which comes with all the smaller stamps too.
I've done one of my favourite techniques on this card, stamping the design around the back and front of the card but leaving lots of clean white card too.

Although the stamp is rather grungy I've stamped it in pink and finished it with a ribbon and matching enamel dots to give it a more feminine look but I think a change of colour could make this masculine too.

The sentiment stamp was also from a Woodware set too.
and the background paper from one of my bubble Masterboards. The technique can be seen here:

I hope you will pop over to see what the rest of the DT have been up to and maybe join in the challenge.
I look forward to seeing what you come up with too.
 Happy crafty card making.

Friday Fun Day With review of 2019.

Welcome to all my new followers, hope you enjoy the journey.
Angela here again to show you what I've been up to last year, just a quick follow up from last week.

Lots of fun doing a workshop for my friend's daughter as part of her Hen party.

Later in the year we got together again to make Christmas cards.

And Tiger helped too.

You may remember this when I had some work done on my car.
This one belongs to Paul the mechanic, my old girl is the one at the back.

But I couldn't resist playing.

Lots more great days at the Craft Club.

Weddings galore though obviously this one was not for real!

One of the real happy couples.

Show days.

Heckington Show.

This one is the Lincolnshire Show but you may have worked that one out for yourselves.

This was the musical 'Little Shop of Horrors' that we went to see at the Lincoln Performing Arts Centre - The Engine Shed.

We watched the babies grow up which are now doing well and still with mum and dad.

Then we took Mum and Dad for a short holiday to the coast.
A very traditional UK break.

Ice cream cones of course.

And the donkeys still going strong.

Slight change this year as the Nautilus has landed.
If you're into Steam Punk you would love this.

Lots of photographs in the hotel as it was once taken over by the Air Force.

From there we went to Chatsworth for the Game Fair.

We watched James Martin but had to stand outside and watch him on the screen as it was so busy.

Lots more great days out with my friends.

Oh dear Maisie has found another Mole hill!

And the year is coming to an end, October in the Park.

The new Cabin is up.

And the old shed is down.

Not seen anymore of this guy, he was a whopper!

Not quite finished the inside yet but I am going to have fun here in the New Year once I get it set up that is.

The conservatory roof is all completed.

And I can tell you it makes a big difference to the heat in here.

Stan is back in his favourite position playing at being a Lap Dog.

The Craft shows are all finished for this year.

It was nice to see Tracy again at the NEC.

The fish are mostly in the bottom of the pond now.

Maisie's resting.

And Again!
What a life!

And that's it really.
Hope you enjoyed seeing what I got up to in 2019 year.

Have a great weekend everyone and a very happy new year.
Thanks for stopping by.

And if you would like some more smiles you just need to pop over to see what our other friends have been doing this week at Annie's for
