WOYWW -581 # What's On Your Workdesk Wednesday.

Welcome to all my new followers, hope you enjoy the journey.

Hi Workdesk friends.
Here we are for another Wednesday at the Workdesk.
I am here again to show you:

"What's on my Workdesk this Wednesday".

If you don't know what this is all about then please visit the

Stamping Ground, our host Julia will explain.

So here is my desk for today!

Not much to see today but I have new stamps and some finished cards.

New AALL and Create stamps and a half finished card.
I've made a few of these but not completed them deliberately so that I can use them for whatever greeting is required at the time.
The tub on the right is Stamperia ceramic powder to use in moulds. It looks a bit like Plaster of Paris.

The toilet roll is going to be used for stamping on my Gel plate and the little thing that looks like a light bulb will hold glitter.
The stamps on the right are new and by Dark Room Door.
As everything else is just the usual stuff I'll leave you with that.

I did post another card on my Masterboard Monday this week which you can find here if you'd like to see it. I've been using up some leftovers.

There have been quite a few people interested in the UTEE stamping and I'll have to do it again soon so you can see how it's done but it really is easy.

You need to make sure that the stamp is heat resistant which is why I prefer to use rubber stamps though I know Clarity stamps are okay too.
So that's me done for today.

Thanks for stopping by and hope you will pop over and join in the visits around the other desks.

I'm off now to see what everyone else is up to.
Have a great woyww
and
happy crafting,

Angela x

Have you been watching Carolyn Dube too Angela? The loo roll/gelli plate reference was a clue. I would be interested in seeing more of your embossing / UTEE stamping as I still have all my UTEE equipment. Stay safe and happy WOYWW. Sarah #?

I was wondering what a loo roll was doing on your desk! At least it's there for craft purposes and nothing else, lol!

Hi Angela
It's hard to resist Aall and Create isn't it. I had to sit on my hands with all the new stamps but my wish list is getting longer and longer.
Have a good week

Hi Angela. Now that's one tidy desk - yet you have been really busy this week making all sorts... How do you keep it tidy? I wish I could!
Take care. God bless.

I'm late in the day visiting this week but it's better than last week's effort lol.
I've spent the day replenishing my basket of face masks...but as soon as I fill them they sell so it's a bit like painting the Forth bridge :-)
I thought you'd been stock piling toilet rolls :-)...I'm sure there's many uses for them when it comes to crafting.
Hugs,

Oh Angela, you are a tease. Telling me you have got AAL & Create stamps and not showing which ones! I have been waiting in for my order all day - it was sent 1st class on Monday and still is not here. Drat! I just wanted to play, or drool.
Love the light bulb, that is so cute and will look even better when filled with glitter. What intrigues me is the loo roll and the Gelli Plate? Hope it is revealed next week.
Stay safe and well, mum too.

ps apparently, in my case, it is all to do with circulation (stockings) and if not good it slows the healing.

You've got a nice lot of things to play with there, Angela, including the loo roll! I look forward to seeing how that turns out. Thank you for visiting and so glad you like my red outfit! My hubby and I, and the kitties, have been really enjoying the return of the sunny weather - the patio is such a sun trap and it's great to have the umbrella. Like you, I spent all afternoon in the garden till I thought I might get burnt, and I was getting too hot! I hope you had a lovely time with your friends in the sunshine.

Happy WOYWW,

Hee Hee I was thinking for sure you were going to do some snarky survived the tp shortages of 2020 type cards with squares of the real McCoy on them haha. looks like fun things to poke around with on your desk today Angela. :) ~Stacy #25

Never thought I’d see that in a sentence..that the loo roll is for stamping on the gelli plate, honestly, you skilled gals are so inventive! I look at he Darkroom Door stamps quite often and then walk away, they frighten me!! I like the lightbulb jar, a row of rose with glitter in would be very pleasing to my eyes!

Good Morning, Thanks for the visit. We have had great weather so we went for breakfast and a little tour of how farm crops are doing yesterday. TODAY, I've got to catch up ! I have just started using a gel plate...need practice I love the results. You always have lots of fun things to share. Enjoy a great weekend Stay Safe.

Hi Angela, you have me intrigued with the TP for the gelli plate, looking forward to that explanation! I love the cards you made, especially how you coloured the (thistle?) on the inside. Thanks for your earlier visit, have a great week! Lindart #26

You'll have fun lifting prints with that TP Angela and I love your light bulb salt pot aka glitter shaker hee hee.. Stamping into UTEE is a great technique, i've had lots of success with polymer stamps as well as rubber, if you coat the polymer stamps with plenty of Versamark it does act as a good barrier. I made something in the spring with UTEE but never shared it.. maybe next Spring hee hee. Your desk always makes me want to come and play.
I'm finding it difficult to get round and visit everyone on Wednesdays now my care duty days have changes but i'll still be popping in to visit and see what your up too..
Hugs Tracey xx
