Friday Fun Day with Smiles.

Welcome to all my new followers, hope you enjoy the journey.

Angela here again to show you what I've been up to this week though it will be a quick post as I have a few jobs to do today as they are hopefully! coming to fix the hole in the ceiling tomorrow, fingers crossed.

My mum is doing well and we've been doing her shopping and visiting her.
Stan went to the vet's on Monday for teeth cleaning, he was not impressed and came home with a variety of medication and a lot fewer teeth.

Here he is resting after his long day.

This was his bandage that they used on his leg, quite like it, very Rambo style Lol!

I have tried everything to keep his teeth clean but to no avail so I've put them both onto 'PlaqueOff' in the hope it might help but we'll see.
Maisie is off for her teeth cleaning on Saturday.

They've finished the tree lopping in the park.

It was one large tree.

They have left the logs in the park and they are big!

And finally for today.

The swans in the park have decided that the geese are not welcome any more and he is keeping them all out of the lake as far as possible, what a bully!

Have a great weekend everyone and
 thanks for stopping by.

And if you would like some more smiles you just need to pop over to see what our other friends have been doing this week at Annie's for
"This Week's Smiles" and you can also share your  smiles too.

I don’t know about geese not being welcome, visitors are not now in our houses and gardens. We are under new lockdown rules sadly. So that’s the weekend plans gone for a burton

Oh poor Stan - a visit to the dentist is rarely fun, but that sounds horrid. Good luck to Maisie! Not happy about the missing tree, but I enjoyed the goose/swan stand-off.

Glad to hear your mum is doing better.

Yes Angela, I'm very late visiting. Sorry. Glad to read the good news about your mother, but NOT good news about Stan. Sounds sad, since it's hard for them to chew when they haven't the proper amount of teeth.

What a sad fate for the tree. It sure was large. And I'm with the swan. Those geese will take over EVERYWHERE. Give them an inch and they'll steal a mile. Or maybe that's a smile, since it's the weekend. Hope it 's a good one and Maisie's fate is less sad than Stan's.

Oh poor Stan! Nobody likes visits to the dentist, and it sounds like a traumatic visit for him (and for you perhaps, even if it is just seeing the bill).
Today is Saturday (yes, I'm late again) and you will be taking Maisie for the same ordeal
That swan had me smiling, protecting his/her patch from the geese.
I hope the 'hole in the ceiling' has been repaired. I must read your previous blog, as I don't know what that is all about. It does not sound good at all.
Have a good weekend in spite of it being busy,
Hugs,
Lisca

Oh Angela, your pooor poor puppies!!
Handsome lads but how sad they can’t keep their teeth clean, not fun for them or for you. Lovely dogs but are lots of work etc too, and ever so glad your darling mumma is going well, with your help.
A blessing and answered prayers.
Sad re poor geese, I would have thought it was the other way around that geese were bossy, sad re trees but guess they were diseased or some such, happy smiles day and thanks for popping over.
Thanks for sharing, and may God bless and keep you and all whom you love safe and well.
Prayer hugs, Shaz in Oz. X

Aw. Poor Stan. My son adopted a rescue cat whose owner had died and although he is only three years old, he has no teeth. But he still happily chomps on biscuits along with his wet food.
It is hard to keep the dogs teeth clean. I hope Masie's dentistry visit passes smoothly.
The geese do tend to take over a lake but swans can be so aggressive. It is a constant battle for supremacy between them at Ellesmere and the other smaller Meres where I used to live. One swan stole our picnic when I opened the car boot, and he was too big and strong to argue with! Kate x
