Masterboard Monday.

Welcome to all my new followers, hope you enjoy the journey.
I am here to show you a card made with this Masterboard (two actually, spoiling you today).

Smooshing and stencilling ( AALL and Create stencils and stamps) to create the Masterboards.

And a little stamping in the same colours.

As these inks react with water I couldn't resist some faux bleaching too. Just spray with water and dab away the ink.

This first Masterboard is quite delicate in the colours I've used.

And the inks are quite old but some of my favourites and yes they are still very juicy.

As this is quite a long post I thought you might like to see the finished cards before we go any further.
Stamping with black on these colours really makes the images pop especially the dots.

And so to the second Masterboard.

Made again using the same smooshing, stencils and stamps. The inks are darker this time so the faux bleaching shows up much better.

And more juicy inks.

At this stage I used an AALL and Create stamp twice on two A4 sheet leaving me with two without stamping.

Couldn't resist stamping on some more of the old book pages too.

The cards were completed by using the plain Masterboards as the first layer then a white card followed by the stamped image which had been edged with matching ink.

Also added a ripped piece from the old book pages, a spotlight circle, leaves and a sentiment from the other Masterboard then some Stickles Glitter glue on some of the dots and the Teasel.

The plain Masterboards were also used to create the sentiment and image for the inside of the cards.

Same design just the other way round with the Masterboards.

One more look at the two cards together.

Didn't want to waste the left-over bits so I've stuck them in my Art Journal though not sure what the next stage will be so watch this space.

Many thanks for stopping by and happy crafting.
I would love to hear your comments.

Happy crafting,
Angela x

Beautiful delicate layering on your masterboards - the subtle pastel one is so ethereal, and then the turquoises look like a cool refreshing pool to dive into - glorious! And the finished cards are simply lovely - what a wonderful image.

The Masterboards are lovely, as always, Angela, and those cards are dynamite. As you say, the black spots really stand out, and truly make the cards sing! Fantabulous!!!

The masterboards are gorgeous and the card, wow, striking! You are right Angela, the black dots… they make all the difference. I don't have the Big and Juicy pads but I love my Kaleidacolor inkpads. Stamping in colour or brayering clean and bright colours… my favourites!
