Well we're home now so just a few photos from our trip away....

This is the top of La Masse which is above the place where we stay, Les Menuires in the French Alps.

11.00am outside in the sun for Van Chaud.

Sorry it's nearly all gone!

These little beauties are outside the restaurant.

and 11.30am. off skiing again.

We had one day when it just snowed so much that we decided not to ski......

Now they are real snow flakes!

The visibility was very poor so it was a TV day.

What can I say........

We have had a few days off as it snowed so hard that we couldn't see to ski but I'll show you more next friday for now I'll finish with a smile.

Time for a change and I'm making a Steampunk style rotating card.

You've seen me make these before as I did one for Christmas here: and here:

I saw this and couldn't resist it.

It's full of stickers, backgrounds and Cut-outs. you can also get rub-ons and stencils too.

All the pieces are from the Junk Journal.

I'll show you the card once it's finished.

I started this before we went away and If I'm being honest ........

this is my desk for today, well for this week actually!

And there's no crafting here at all because I'm here....

Too occupied to do any crafting this week Hee! Hee!

So for now I'm off for some more skiing so I'll see you later.

Masterboard Monday reviews of 2025.

 Welcome to all my new followers, hope you enjoy the journey.

I am here again to show you some projects from last year.

I like to review my projects before getting started with the New Year projects. 

Oh! and a little rest after Christmas. I think it's good to relax and put the Crafting on hold for a while and come back to it refreshed, hopefully with some new ideas.

Love making these Masterboards and not done them for a while. These are a technique called Retiform.

I cut them up with a grid die and then attached them back into place just adding a sentiment and images.

WOYWW - 866 - What's On your workdesk Wednesdasy.

So here is my desk for today! Though it has not changed since the weekend.

Sorry Mary Anne no journal page today though I have included instructions on Monday for the bauble page which can be found here. 

I have a few things to get out of the way before getting back to the journal.

You may think Christmas is over but here we have yet  more Christmas card production.

The Exploding box looks tidy though!

It's always about now that I like to make a few 

C. Cards ready for next Christmas and it's easier at this time of the year when I can still feel that Christmas vibe.

Sorry about the light shining on the plastic.

Tim Holtz Christmas trees and Snowflakes (they are around somewhere), Stampendous circular shape and an embossing folder though not sure what make that is. Finished with a sentiment and Stickles Glitter Glue and they are now waiting to be mounted.

The round thing in the box towards the rear left is a role of Christmas ribbon that I have a plan for.

So that's me done for today.

Make it on Monday.

 Welcome to all my new followers, hope you enjoy the journey.

I am here today to show you..... yes! another journal page. Some of you may have seen this already but today I'm showing you how it was made as I know some of you like to see this so here goes:

A little more of the Auroura Borealis just makes the bauble stand out.

 

I used an outline bauble stencil by Cardio stamps and painted the hill section (with white paint) then protected it with a piece of shaped card and added the colour to the sky ....

next covered it with the mask that comes with the stencil.

Using Distress Oxide ink and a stamping block I applied the ink and sprayed it lightly with water then dabbed it onto the page drying it and then applying more.

Once I was happy with the colour I removed the mask.

Made sure the page was completely dry and then went round the bauble lightly with a soft black pencil to create shading.

I like to put the outer stencil back in place while I stamp the images, splatter the white dots and finish it with Stickles Glitter glue then added the ribbon.

The sentiment and snow flakes were freebies from a magazine.

We're off out for a while and this is just a tease as to where we're going.

No snow here yet which Alfie says is a shame as he loves to role in it so he's still hoping it might come.
