The Adventures of BP Mini Me.

Hi to you all, do any of you know where BP is?
We have been looking all over the place, he has been missing for ages.
Even the little clock robot doesn't know where he is and they are supposed to be mates!

So I went to see if anyone else has seen him.
These two sleep most of the time and only come out when it's dark but it's worth a try but no they have no idea either!

And I keep ringing my bell but he still doesn't answer.

We even looked behind the bone juice jar in case he was hiding but no he's not there either.

Oh! so that's where he is doing lovey dovey stuff with her.

Oh I've been caught Lol!

Didn't know you all cared so much, a robot has to get his fun where he can Lol!

Bye for now.

That Craft Place Challenge.

Welcome to all my new followers, hope you enjoy the journey.

And here is my first design for:
That Craft Place Challenge Blog.
Hope you will pop over and join in the challenge and have a look at what my team members have made to inspire you.

For this project we have been asked to make something Shabby Chic, just up my street!

But what to make?
At this stage the brain usually goes into sleep mode Lol!
However, after searching through the stash I found a little box just waiting to be altered and some gorgeous Prima Papers.
That Craft Place shop can supply these lovely items just pop over.
If you have chance to go over there click on the Facebook button to see even more lovely things and That Craft Place Etsy shop.

So here we go.....
Started by collecting a few goodies together.

First cut a piece of your chosen Prima paper to fit around the box allowing enough to turn inside and then score it twice before creasing.
Scoring it and leaving a small space between the lines allows for the ridge on the top of the box.

To ensure it fits easily I cut out little notches along the edge.

Here you can see how it looks attached.

On the outside.

And on the Inside.

Next I inserted the lining after distressing the edges.

The next step was to make the flowers which would decorate the top and to add some textured text to the top and sides using Cosmic Shimmer texture paste which I already had in my stash but is also available from That Craft Place.

The little dragonfly came from the Prima embellishment pack and was coloured with Stickles glue.
Prima embellishments are also available from That Craft Place.

I rubbed over the text using Treasure Gold gilding wax and also attached a couple of sentiment stickers which also come with the 12x12 Prima papers.

And here is the finished box.
I thought it would look really nice on show and decided to fill it with Potpourri.
Hope you approve.

More views.

Hope you enjoyed looking at my little box.
I look forward to seeing your entries for the challenge.

I do hope you like it and leave me a little comment.
I will always visit you back if I know where you are.

Back soon and happy crafting,

WOYWW 311# What's On Your Workdesk Wednesday.

Welcome to all my new followers, hope you enjoy the journey.

Hi Workdesk friends.
Here we are for another Wednesday at the Workdesk.
I am here again to show you:

"What's on my Workdesk this Wednesday".

If you don't know what this is all about then please visit the

Stamping Ground, our host Julia will explain what it's all about.

And this is what's on my desk today...

I'm afraid it's a mess but I have been busy and that's my excuse Lol!

Nice new stuff here.

Don't know what I shall do with the empty box bits but just liked the wording on it so I have cut it up.
The Pink wallet has my ATCs in they're conveniently turned so you can't see them.
All my international ones have been posted now and I have received some swaps but you will have to wait a little longer to see them but there are lovely.

Not sure yet what I am going to do with the big tag
and below that is the new Masterboard from my friend Gloria.

So that's it really for today and I'm off now to have a nosey round.
Leave me a comment and I'll be sure to leave you one back.

Happy crafting,

Masterboard Monday.

Welcome to all my new followers, hope you enjoy the journey.

I am here again to show you a Masterboard that I have been working on.

Remember the Masterboard from last week:
Not wanting to waste any of it I made this:

  • I used several pieces of the Masterboard, some of the left-over embossed card and the same net but also included some paper which I had coloured with Mica sprays and gold ink.
  • I had stamped the dragonfly onto the Masterboard and plain white card.

  • I cut out the wings from the white card and coloured them using my Chameleon Pens then mounted them onto the Masterboard stamped dragonfly leaving the right side loose to give structure to the finished design.
  •  After cutting the pieces out I mat and layered them onto the blank card stock (SEE BELOW).

And here is the finished card.

I do hope you like it and leave me a comment.
I will always visit you back if I know where you are.

Happy crafting,
Angela x

The wisteria is a bit nice too.

Masterboard Monday.

Welcome to all my new followers, hope you enjoy the journey.

I am here again to show you a Masterboard that I have been working on.

Remember this Masterboard from last week:

I only used half of it on some ATCs.

So I've used some of the left over piece to make cards.
Here's what I have done so far.

I stamped on the background paper using my new Stampendous Stamp called Cling Bird Gears. I also stamped with a Stampers Anonymous Classic Favourites from set 1. but that will be for another day.

Stamped the bird on white card and heat embossed it.

Next, using a Crafter's Workshop template I applied colour straight to the card blank.

Using the same template, I applied the design onto blue card with the Viva Modelling Cream and heat embossed this with the Shabby Blue Embossing Enamel.
When this was dry I went over the card with Dusty Concord Distress Ink and Waterfall BIG and Juicy.

I coloured the bird that I stamped on white card with the Chameleon pens and then added the foil and glaze.

Only part of the bird had been cut out and coloured and this was then attached to the stamped background paper. Part of the bird was attached using 3D foam tape to give some dimension to the card.

Cut some gears ready to embellish the card.

Now everything was ready for the construction stage.
I cut the embossed blue card into four squares and cut a piece of black net to size.

First I attached the net.
I used double sided tape for this as the other sections would be glued down and hold it in place.

Next I attached the squares.
I find wet glue is best for this.

I applied some of the gears before attaching the topper so that some were underneath and then attached some on top.

Hope you liked my card and I will be back soon to make the other one.
If you can leave me a comment I would be really pleased and can then visit you back.

Have a great week and happy crafting,

Angela x
