WOYWW -612- What's On Your Workdesk Wednesday.

Welcome to all my new followers, hope you enjoy the journey.

Hi Workdesk friends.
Here we are for another Wednesday at the Workdesk.
I am here again to show you:

"What's on my Workdesk this Wednesday".

If you don't know what this is all about then please visit the

Stamping Ground, our host Julia will explain.

So here is my desk for today!

Julia mentioned last week about the monthly project I'm doing from the Creative Craft Academy and keeping up with it.
It's not something I've done before but it's felt quite relaxing having everything there ready and not having to think too much about what to use, just need to think where to put everything.
We did have a rest last month as the materials arrived too late to send out but I'm loving this months project and it's nice to see how everyone else interprets it too.

So here's where I'm up to but I'll make it quick Lol!

Always like to seal the wood before applying the paint so I used some of my own Gesso to do this.

Then applied the paint, two layers.

Prepped the embellishments.

Not quite finished but I'll let you see the results next week.

So that's me done for today.

Thanks for stopping by and hope you will pop over and join in the visits around the other desks.

I'm off now to see what everyone else is up to.
Have a great woyww
and
happy crafting,

Angela x

It may not be completed but it certainly looks good at the stage it is at. Love the embellishments on the top. Can imagine it will be fandabidozi when done.

It's all looking lovely Angela, I agree sometimes it's nice to have everything to hand and not have to worry about adding or where to find it. Beautifully placed, looking forward to seeing the finished design and what you intend using it for. Sending HUgs this WoywW Tracey xx #4 x

The box already looks fantastic, Angela and it will be useful too. I know what you mean - these kits take the guess work out of "what shall I make" but you can still put your own stamp on them. Challenges work the same way for me - it's just something to keep you on track and focused. Plus it must be so excising getting them each month! Have a lovely week! xx zsuzsa #27

Oooh I like where this is going! Do you have a purpose in mind for it at the end? I do love decorative items that are useful too so lovely boxes and receptacles make me smile. Stay safe and keep smiling, Lisa-Jane #14

I’m really late in the day doing my visits this week...I’ve just crawled out from under a pile of Memory bears.
I’m really loving with how your box is coming...gorgeous colour.

What a gorgeous box, Angela. I always enjoy your 3-D projects, and really look forward to seeing the finished result on this one. Thank you for your visit - so glad you enjoyed all the animals on this week's post - and not forgetting the sheep on the jumper too!

Happy WOYWW,

OOh Angela, that’s a wonderful colour you’ve put on the box, really lovely. I think I’ve said before that I’d have unfinished (not started!) projects all over the placed if I joined the Craft Academy! I shall enjoy vicariously, you do such a fab job!

Do you make your own gesso then? Your box is looking good. Can’t wait to see it finished. I have been watching a lot of videos making boxes from cardboard. Makes me feel having a dabble myself. Hugs Mrs A.

The box is coming along nicely. I can see a lot of scope there. It's always good to have some projects that don't require as much preparation or thought for when creativity is at a low ebb or time is limited. Looking forward to seeing your personal twist on it xx
