Welcome to all my new followers, hope you enjoy the journey.
I am here today to show you another page in my Ledger journal:
I've placed low tack tape around the edge and applied some Distress ink on the surface by placing it onto a stamping block, spray a little water onto the ink and then tap the colour lightly onto the page. You need to dry this a little between colours.
I have this new stencil by Honey Doo Crafts and I wanted to try it out so this looked like a good place to start.Once this was dry I splattered it with white paint and then stamped over it with a Honey Doo stamp.
I coloured the flowers and leaves but then decided I wanted the flowers to stand out more.
I stamped the image again and heat embossed it then coloured the flowers and added a clear glaze.
Next cut the flowers out and attached them in place.
The flowers stand out much better now.I felt it needed a little extra and applied Stickles Glitter glue along some of the lines around the stencil then added the sentiment.
This was a great way to test out this stencil and stamp and hope you like it too.
I would love to hear your comments.
Many thanks for stopping by and happy crafting,
Angela x
