Masterboard Monday.

Welcome to all my new followers, hope you enjoy the journey.
I am here today to show you a card made with this Masterboard:

This was made using a kissing technique simply pressing the stamp lightly onto the card continually moving it around until the ink runs out and then reloading the stamp and repeating the process again.

Today I've used the Masterboard as a background.

And to layer over it this Masterboard.

You may remember this from an earlier project which you can find here with the tutorial for making.
So I've used some more on this card.

The stamping was done with an Altenew stamp called 'Watercolour Halftone' and Tim Holtz Distress Oxide inks.

So there you have it one card and lots of lovely background papers to work with.

I would love to hear your comments.

Many thanks for stopping by and happy crafting,

Angela x

I would like to enter this card in the following challenges:

Friday Fun Day with Smiles.

Welcome to all my new followers, hope you enjoy the journey.
Angela here again to show you what I've been up to this week.

Things are moving on a bit here this week.

Getting stuff in the cabin but not sure that they will necessarily stay where they are now!

As promised this is the way we got the shelving down from the loft and into the cabin, not as easy as the way they went up as they came flat packed.

The wheel barrow came next.

Past the aviary and down the garden.

To the cabin.

And we need to do this seven times.

To make more room I'm standing some of these upright.

These are slightly smaller and hold the wooden backed stamps.

So that's were we are so far. More to follow soon.

But can't leave you without a few funnies.

Stay safe, have a great weekend everyone and
 thanks for stopping by.

And if you would like some more smiles you just need to pop over to see what our other friends have been doing this week at Annie's for
"This Week's Smiles" and you can also share your  smiles too.

WOYWW - 566 What's On Your Workdesk Wednesday.

Welcome to all my new followers, hope you enjoy the journey.

Hi Workdesk friends.
Here we are for another Wednesday at the Workdesk.
I am here again to show you:

"What's on my Workdesk this Wednesday".

If you don't know what this is all about then please visit the

Stamping Ground, our host Julia will explain.

So here is my desk for today!

 Well shelving actually.

But as many of you were asking to see this here it is, one set of shelving on it's way down to the cabin.

All this furniture removal has not been good for the crafting which is why the desk is so tidy.

But I have done some crafting seeing as how it will soon be Easter.

So that's me done for today.
Happy Easter to all my friends out there.

I have a tutorial for this card if you would like to see it, here:

Thanks for stopping by and hope you will pop over and join in the visits around the other desks.

I'm off now to see what everyone else is up to.
Have a great woyww
and
happy crafting,

Crafty Cardmakers Challenge - 254 Easter.

Welcome to all my new followers, hope you enjoy the journey.
Hi! back again to tell you that it's time for another challenge over
at Crafty Cardmakers.

Marlene is hosting today and our challenge is Easter.

As usual you can enter anything you fancy, it doesn't have to be cards, as long as it meets the challenge.

Hope you will join in.
And here is my project for the challenge:

This is a Tuxedo Box card, something I've been wanting to have a go at making.

The scoring is done first at 2 3/4", 5 1/2", 8 1/4" and 11" which will leave you with a small strip at the end.

Turn the card once clockwise and score again at 2 3/4" and 5 1/2".

I marked this with a pencil those parts that need to be removed and scored.

This probably makes it easier to see the stage.

Reinforce the score lines and it should look like this.

It's not often I do this but I have had this book for ages so decided it was time to use some of the papers.

Cut out the shapes slightly smaller than the card blank and edge the pieces with a matching colour before attaching them to the background sections.

The flaps are used to hold the embellishments.
Cut these 3/4" wide by 3 3/4" in length and fold 1/2" at each end.
Attach these at the side panel as shown then dab glue onto the two loose ends, gently close the card to position the tabs and attach.

Attach double sided tape to the joining flap and attach it to the other side.

Ensure as you do this that the card will lie flat.

It should now look like this.

At this stage you can add the embellishments.

Which are attached to the inner flaps.

I hope you will pop over to see what the rest of the DT have been up to and maybe join in the challenge.
I look forward to seeing what you come up with too.
 Happy crafty card making.

Friday Fun Day with Smiles.

Welcome to all my new followers, hope you enjoy the journey.
Angela here again to show you what I've been up to this week.

Busy in the cabin again.
It's slow going but we'll get there sooner or later.

The rolled up thing is the rug which will be in here when everything's done.
The shelves look nice and tidy but not sure they will stay that way!

Of course not everyone in this family have been busy.

Such as this boy, too comfortable to be bothered with any of that work thing!

This was a bit of a surprise when my hubby arrived from the garden with these last week.
A family down the road had a van full of these and would normally sell them at events but obviously they've all been cancelled so they had brought them round to the neighbours for anyone who wanted them but don't worry they kept a good distance from each other.
We shall have to eat these very slowly.
If you've had Pipers crisps you will know how moreish they are.

Now a little something else to make you smile.

I don't think this guy will be lonely with all his friends for company.

This shows that dogs know how to stop you feeling lonely.
You have to love our four legged friends.

Take care everyone and have a happy weekend,
 thanks for stopping by.

And if you would like some more smiles you just need to pop over to see what our other friends have been doing this week at Annie's for
"This Week's Smiles" and you can also share your  smiles too.

WOYWW - 565 - What's On Your Workdesk Wednesday.

Well not exactly but I know you're all dying to see how far I've got with the cabin.
This is it so far and though it doesn't look like much it does take some time for me to get the stuff down from the loft and then to get hubby to help me get the shelf down the stairs (two flights!) and then onto the wheel barrow and down the garden.
I must photograph this event, it should make you smile Lol!

Anyway back to the real desk.

To the right is this bin bag.

I just find this so useful, made by one of the ladies at the craft club.

I don't think this side has changed much apart from the appearance of the tissues with the clock design. I will not be using these to blow my nose they are more likely to end up on a card I think.

New stamps and dies, lovely!

This is not a new die but I've got it out as I have an idea of how I might use up some old stash.
I seem to have collected more card than I've used.

So that's me done for today.

Thanks for stopping by and hope you will pop over and join in the visits around the other desks.

I'm off now to see what everyone else is up to.
Have a great woyww
and
happy crafting,
