WOYWW 332# What's On Your Workdesk Wednesday.

Welcome to all my new followers, hope you enjoy the journey.

Hi Workdesk friends.
Here we are for another Wednesday at the Workdesk.
I am here again to show you:

"What's on my Workdesk this Wednesday".

If you don't know what this is all about then please visit the

Stamping Ground, our host Julia will explain.

And this is what's on my desk today...

I know that some of you were interested to see what I would be doing with the Powertex this time.
Usually we have used it on 3D objects but this time we were using it on a canvas.
We started by applying it the background and then thickening it up to create the textured parts that you can see by mixing it with 3D flex which cracks as it dries.

I have normally used the brown Powertex so was quite interested to see how it would look in a lighter colour so chose the blue.

If you missed the posting about this workshop and would like to see it you can find it here.

The other work that you can see on my desk is a canvas I worked on at Newark last Saturday and which I am just finishing. It will be ready for my post on Friday.

Hope you enjoyed looking.

Have a great woyww and
happy crafting,

Angela x

That looks pretty wild with all the cracks in it and it's fun to try new colours or ones we don't normally use wonder how one 1/2 blue and brown would look

Must remember to pop back on Friday to see your other canvas - did you do it with Barbara?
Were you aware you were doing a canvas with Iain and Ali or was it a complete surprise - off to see your previous post.

Love the texture in your canvas, Angela. I've checked this product online and it doesn't seem that expensive AND it's available in the UK so I might be getting some to try. Happy WOYWW! zsuzsa #36

Thanks for the return visit, Angela, and I'm glad you like the alternative view of my desk - I got the idea off you last time, when you gave us an expanded view, and thought people might like to see a different angle! One day I will do the video tour I promised ages ago... I was waiting for the room to be really tidy and organised but that ain't gonna happen any time soon so I might as well get on with it! It probably won't happen till next year... I've got a lovely lot of room to work, but I soon clutter it up and then it doesn't feel so roomy!

I can't wait for Friday now. I've never looked forward to a treatment before, but this one is different! I know that the recovery from it will be horrible but at least it's not just aiming for the next treatment, but a real chance of recovery, onwards and upwards towards my new life. I can't wait now. So many plans, and I feel so positive and upbeat!

Interesting stuff that Powertex, I assumed it would be white only, so that's already doubled my knowledge! Both canvases are looking good, I wonder where you go from here?!

Somehow I missed the powertex boat! I don't know what that is...but I love the gorgeous texture and mixed-media feel of your canvases. Thanks for the visit. I love to hear how everyone drinks their tea. The Real Housewives in all locations are anything but real housewives....but my favorite is New York because they are so entertaining! Have a good week.
